Lawley's Bakery Cafe

After my order being delayed by an hour I get delivered this inedible collection of garbage which isn't even what I originally ordered and am offered an incredibly stale bun as compensation. This is just disrespectful. How can anyone expect to get even close to their moneys worth if this is the kind of stuff they're putting out

I went there last Friday at 3: 15pm and asked for a ham and cheese croissant. The lady said that the toaster was already cleaned and not possible to warm up the croissant for me. They are suppose to close at 4pm so 45 min before close they are not able to serve warm meals? ! Really? ! Another couple arrived there at 3: 25pm asking for sandwiches and the lady apologized again and didnt sell to them. Very disappointed. I use to go there every Friday but not going anymore. Very disappointed.

Manuel and Rian make best coffees in Freo. So tasty and perfect temperature. Friendly stuff to start your day with a big smiley.

Cool spot, nice art and I really like the new sunflowers. Chill staff too. Will definitely go past other cafe's to come to this one.

Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere with couches and walls covered in local art - cakes are to die for and coffee is fab.

Awesome cafe thats does a great coffee and the cakes are amazing. The staff are always friendly and pretty stoked to have this as my local.

Gorgeous little Cafe I stumbled upon yesterday, coffee and pastry was delicious, enjoyed it in a cosy little setting surrounded by local artwork. So much character and staff were such a delight? Will definitely be back!

Don’t order toastie $10+ worst ever hardly “toasted” one side hot dry bread! Nothing really nice to say about this cafe sorry, customer service not much better! Wouldn’t recommend or re visit!

Must have perhaps been short of staff today only two, one who seemed to be somewhere else for sure. Don't know where to start! Apologizing to every customer is standard practice here it appears. Never again, with so much choice in Freo how is this so?

Happy, efficient service. Good street corner location. The free water is located in a dicult place behind a busy six-seated table.

Terrible service. Chips needed 5 more minutes to be decent. Younger of the two serving did'nt seem to care or have a clue. Average pie. I don't live nearby by so won't be back anyway. Worst service I have had in a ver long time.

This is godsent as it is one of the few cafes and bakeries in Fremantle to open early in the morning on a weekend. The chicken and vegetable pie and latte was decent and memorable. Didn't get to try the rest but they sure look tempting!

Miss the old staff. Antonia and Bethany made the store what it was. Enjoyed coming in on a morning with them working.

Current staff are always moody and awful. I suggest put the old girls back on mornings if you can. Disappointed with the change.

Yummy salad options, reasonable priced.only a short walk from the city centre where you pay double. Lovely staff, friendly and happy to help.

Lawley's Bakery Cafe has a broad range of quality baked goods. They make good coffee and the service is quick. I look forward to my next experience at this joint.

Worst orange juice ever had, even after having asked for freshly squeezed one, it was disgusting.

The sour faced girl that works here always wears gloves. The problem is, she never changes them, takes them off or washes her hands. It’s disgusting.
She was handling money, then coughed into her gloves, then started serving food.
Really just gross. Would not recommend

Lawley's is 100% the ONLY place for pies in the Freo. The cafe is super chilled, with lounges out the front and water for your pooch. They also have a great range of sandwiches, rolls and sweets.
