Lawley's Bakery Cafe

Short walk from Fremantle Hospital and so cafe offers 50% staff discount on coffee. All food is presented as a feast for the eyes and the atmosphere is chill with plenty of comfy seating inside and out. Ordered chicken burritos, slice and apple/strawberry crumble - all delish. Will definitely be back

I bought a sandwich and an iced coffee. Almost fell over when the bill came to just under 20 dollars. I paid, I was hungry so I ate half of the sandwich.it was dry, salad one day away from being rotten. I called Lawleys the next day and found out that the sandwich.pre-made from the day before as I was there really early so it definitely wasn't made that day. So cheese and salad sandwich. $12.99? It was the worst sandwich I have ever had, I've had better ones at the petrol station at half the price. Shame on you Lawleys bakery, you will not survive with the type of food you are selling. And how do you justify 12.99 for a sandwich? You suck and I hope everyone reads this and not go to your cafe anymore. You don't even deserve a one star.

I do not know why these guys have such a low rating:
- food and coffee are good with a pretty wide choice of pastries, cakes etc;
- service is quick and the staff attentive and welcoming;
- the place is nice and cosy especially on a rainy day.

I had an incredible experience at Lawleys Bakery in Fremantle. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a mouthwatering display of cakes, breads, and food that left me spoiled for choice. The selection was truly amazing, and it was clear that their products were crafted with care and expertise.

I couldn't resist trying some of their cakes, and each one was a delightful explosion of flavors. From rich chocolate cakes to delicate fruit tarts, Lawleys Bakery exceeded my expectations with their delectable desserts.

The bacon and egg roll was #bussin and the service was great. A girl with red hair served me and she was so nice and recommended me get the Cronut which was scrumptious and made me feel like rainbows and unicorns. The atmosphere was nice but could use some work.

Very disappointing food

There’s just zero pride or effort in their food.
Every other cafe in Fremantle is busy and this place is a ghost town for a reason.

A cosy and relax bakery shop, no cooked breakfast at this branch in Fremantle, we tried the brekkyy wrap, surprisingly it had poached egg, proper poached egg with running egg yolk. They sell recycled musical records as bowl and pencil holder, great to recycle ️ the records. Friendly staff, it is a great relax place to have a coffee catch with friends.

Waited 15 minutes for a coffee while all the Uber eats orders were taken care of. Not enough staff the two that were there were run off their feet.

Rude staff behind the counter. Enquired about a breakfast menu and received a snotty response from the girl busy playing with her hair. A bit of customer respect would go a long way. If the response had been worded differently and in a more helpful attitude I would have picked something from the deli counter (luckily I didn't after reading other reviews).
We left and went across to Vanilla Bean Expresso, who did have a breakfast menu, and who did have polite staff, and had a fantastic time!

Went in the morning for a coffee and a quick bite. Went to order and was told an item we wanted want available until after 1030, we proceeded to order a few of the bakery items (would not recommend as they were all stale), 5 mins after we have sat down someone else went up ordered the same item that wasn’t available until 1030 and was sold and served it. Not sure why you would pick and choose which customers you serve your products to, if you don’t want to sell them all the time remove them form the menu. Coffee’s were burn, very gross.

Couldnt eat more than one bite of the driest, parmesan drowned awful Caesar salad: (staff were struggling to cope on the public holiday however no money back offer either.so settled for a milk shake presented by annoyed, angry staff.

Read through the reviews. Thought I was the only one who had a rather uncomfortable experience here. So I'm not alone. Terrible Service. Didnt feel welcomed. Please try to go for more training in customer service or at least have better manners. This bakery was on my to go list. Well, first and last visit today I guess.

Lovely little bakery, worth a try. Plenty of room inside to eat there, or to takeaway. Surprisingly great sausage rolls and spinach and ricotta rolls. Lots of sweet options and bread too.

Went there to buy a loaf of bread, I had lost my mask so the rude American girl would not serve me, so could I sit outside with all the other people that were not wearing masks and her bring me the bread outside and I pay with my card, no. You would also think that they might have a box just Incase people had lost or forgotten there mask. Well they have lost me as a customer.

Arrived at 1255 with partner and in-laws to get a take out bite only to be told the kitchen was shut so they weren’t ‘toasting anything’ So the majority of foods on offer in the display cabinet were unable to be purchased

I experienced ableist hate when the manager yelled at me for being disabled. I have complained to the owners and yelled back at the manager a nasty name.

The owners have sided with their nasty manager and banned me from buying art from their walls and shop.

I had been frequenting this Cafe for over a decade. I will contact the artist directly to but the art but I would strongly recommend giving this place a wide berth.

Especially if you are disabled and don't like being yelled at to get out of the store because of your disability aid.

I love this Cafe the cheesecake here is defiently my favourite, they have such great varieties and are absolutely great with customer service very kind, and I've also heard great things about there coffee and tea.

Good feed, decent price, all the things you would expect from a bakery on the menu plus some mean quesadilla. Nice vibe dining in and the staff were polite and courteous.

Called in for coffee and tea on a Saturday morning. Decided to have the coffee and cake special which included strawberry cheesecake. Marvellous cheesecake. Helpful staff. Lovely indoor venue with interesting artwork. Parking allowed outside in the street for 1 hour.

I've never been here but as soon as i walked in everyone was so nice! I couldn't choose what i wanted because everything looked so good so i got basically everything without it costing an arm and a leg and it was all delicious! The coffee was incredible too.i love it here i will definitely come back <3
