Laneway Seven

Took 40 minutes for the coffee to arrive and the order ended up being wrong anyway. There were only 3 other tables in there so it certainly wasn't from them being busy

Love this place! Been here a couple of times and the food has been great both times. Yesterday, the coffee was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had and the customer service was fantastic. Really lovely staff!

However today went for breakfast with my daughter. Basically empty when l arrived, still had to wait 45 mins for order. Coffee warm. Allot of staff members walking around but not doing much. Won't go here again.

I stopped by Laneway Seven, this morning, to have a brekky in this inviting cafè for the first time. I am glad, I did. I plan to frequently visit this lane for future morning treats.

Despite my hectic morning, I stayed longer, to enjoy the ambient atmosphere and the soothing background music.

I was blown away by the level of service and professionalism displayed by the staff members.

The presentation of my breakfast was superb.

It could have been a good experience dining at this restaurant until my daughter had a some sort of Food Poisoning (?) /Stomach Flu few hours after eating her food (Scrambled Eggs on Toast with Bacon and Hasbrowns) and Mocca Milkshake. It was her first meal of the day. When we got home, she felt really sick and vomitted several times!

When she was eating her food, she was not happy about the Scrambled Eggs as it was very dry (as you can see in the picture), no taste and the colour was light Brownish. Since she was hungry, she did not bother to complain and have it replaced. Our food and drinks were ok except for my daughter's.

After this experience, I don't think we will eat again at this restaurant.

Been here twice. Both times my order was messed up. First time I waited eggs Benedict an hour and second time I ordered English muffins which were already made and sitting in the fridge. I waited them about 45 minutes.which then, after asking about my food, were hastily put in microwave and it was not even properly warm.
The food itself is good and staff is very nice and polite but I feel like the place is understaffed and perhaps staff needs more training how to use their iPads for ordering.

We have had takeaway coffee from here before.
We stopped in for breakfast here and it was great. Food was fresh and flavours were amazing.
Staff serving on the day were lovely great customer service and engaging with customers we really enjoyed our time here and will be back. Thanks for a wonderful morning.

My wife and I came in this morning for breakfast. Ordered the sweet potato hash with poached eggs, bacon, spinach and pesto. Because we have both had stomach surgery one dish does the both. The happily obliged and the chef put the food on 2 separate plates (the meal itself is 2 potato hash and 2 poached eggs normally for one). Not only did they do this for us it was absolutely beautiful both looks and taste. Will come back for sure.
Coffee was also done the way I ordered and not bitter.

Really poor customer service. Laneway was aweome until we had to wait 30 mins to get our meals. No apology no nothing. New owners really need to focus on the service laneway use to give us.

Great feed. Got the Thursday $10 cheesburger and chips x 2 as in the pic they looked sml. However 1 lot of this is more then enough. Very good polite service too especially from what looked like a new trainee. Well spoken. Good to see young kids out in the workforce.
Will definitely be back.

First off their high chairs do not have safety straps.
Secondly when asked if they could make dairy free scrambled eggs, we were told she would put the order through and ask after, when stated we would like to know before paying for the meal as our son is allergic to dairy the server just repeated her self after asking her AGAIN to go and check, she huffed and walked off to ask.we were then told that they were to Busy to provide an allergy friendly scrambled eggs.
The server was rude unhelpful and uninterested in answering any questions.

Won’t be back

Booked a table but when I got there on time it, it wasn't available and was told it was given to someone else. Was livid. Never coming back. New management is a Joke

My Sister recommended Laneway Seven very highly and to be honest I was very disappointed. We waited 1 hour for the food which I dont mind if the food is good but to be honest it was horrible, raw bacon, undercooked eggs and overall bland. I'm sorry guys, but seriously you really need to lift your game because you are not cheap.

Love this place food is always great, bring your pets along as well. Today i had the chicken Tacos delicious highly recommended this place.

Came here for brunch.
Service was amazing, the waiter was so lovely and food came out quick.
We ordered the PULLED PORK and SLOW COOKED BEEF burgers. They were delicious.
They also have activities or colouring in books for children.
Would highly recommend, and can't wait to come back.

Wonderful place. Great lunch. We were recommended the steak sandwiches. We weren't disappointed. Probably best steak sandwich I've ever had. My special needs son said they "are the best chips I've ever had" We then cleaned out the dessert cabinet with Carrot cake, Rocky road, snickers slice, he squealed with delight at the caramel slice, again, the best he's ever had. Great caring staff. We'll be back

Staff are super friendly, prices are reasonable and food is delicious. Kids food is generous in size and great options. I will definitely be back I really enjoyed eating there.
