Lancaster Wines reviews
48Such a vibe here! Went on a wine tour with friends. Cheese platter was delicious like the wines! Will be back thank you Luke (29/01/23)
Rustic wine tasting experience made all the better by Jack our friendly server! Great wines. Tasty cheese platters. Recommend stopping at this smaller winery.
Service isn't great. We visited a few places in the Swan Valley and this one seemed to just churn people through. Tasting pours were sloppy, even splashed into someone's bag. One server in particular had a lot of attitude. Have been several times before and always enjoyed it but after today's experience I'd avoid in the future. It's not like there isn't an abundance of places to try. Shame because the setting is lovely.
Just in front of Margaret River Chocolqte Factory, another must try place to visit in West Swan. Enjoy your wine and variety of cheese platter with family or friends. Place is so exclusive and open to enjoy the warm weather while sipping your wine.
Great vibes and an even better sommelier in Tom! Tom made my date and I feel comfortable. We also walked around the estate and it was a gorgeous place.
Tom was a absolute sensational host on our tour! Our experience at Lancaster was great because of him.
Beautiful place for wine tasting. Tom and Rachel were really accommodating and made great recommendations. We simply loved the Old Vine Shiraz!
A great vineyard to visit if you like very good shiraz, Tom and Rachael were wonderful hosts giving us the best recommendations, A gem in Swan Valley,
Stopped here on a group tasting tour of 25+ people. They provided only one bottle of red! Therefore, many from the group missed out due to the "pour yourself. " method suggested by the bartender. Poor customer service and tiny venue.
Excellent experience, trying a number of wines as part of the out and about tour. Staff very knowledgeable about the wines and keen to help with tasting tips. No pressure to buy which was appreciated.
Delicious! The wine tasting paired with the cheese board was brilliant and the staff were so prompt and happy to help
If we come this way again I'll simply get a taxi and buy some wine and cheese. This is what a vineyard visit should be!
I was looking forward to a nice cheese platter & glass of wine to enjoy in the vineyard.but with a lack of customer service & nothing too exciting in their selection of wines, it was, unfortunately quite disappointing Give it a miss.
Perfect casual wine tasting and excellent wine. Staff are super friendly. Had a mixed box sent to Brisbane.
Fantastic venue, lovely wines. Bonus cheese whilst tasting was a lovely touch too! Highly recommended ️
2nd stop on our Taste of the Swan Valley Tour, we arrived at Lancaster Wines.
Follow their long tree-lined drive-way to their charming outdoor tasting shed for a sampling of wines from some of the Swan Valleys oldest vines. We tasted a delicious selection of premium red, white and desserts wines and sampled gourmet local cheeses
Why not purchase a bottle of wine and make your own grazing platter, with a selection of local gourmet products (Cheese, Olives, Paté, Dips, Continental Meats, Antipasti and Crackers) and enjoy amongst their vineyard?
Wow, great wine here, loved every one that we tried, and very reasonably priced considering the quality.
Doing the Swan Valley Wine tour in a small van along with 9 strangers is always going end well in terms of new friends being made.
Our tour/driver, Ron from Devine Tours, I would highly recommend and I think I could safely say on behalf of the others. He kept everyone well informed from start to finish. Interacted well with everyone on both individual or group.
The onboard entertainment was second to none.
Lancaster Wines is set in a beautiful spot, staff supplied great service and information relating to the wines tasting along with a cheese board of different samples complemented by different wines. Certainly recommend a visit to this Winery.
Went for a group wine tasting, a beautiful venue, but staff didn't talk about the wines or history. They were very private and kept to themselves, really nice and friendly, but there wasn't a lot of interaction about the history of the place or tasting notes. Nice spot, but wouldn't recommend it for a group tour.
Went here for the Reds and Ribs event as part of the Entwined in the Valley 2021 festival. The wine was decent and the location was pretty in a rustic kinda way. The event itself was incredibly disappointing. $40 got you a glass of wine, ONE rib, 4 or 5 bite sized pieces of pork belly and brisket, a couple of slices of bread and a salad that was mostly iceberg and some red cabbage. All of the salad dressing was on the bread and none of it on the actual salad (not just mine. Same for my friends as well). The meager serving of meat was mostly overcooked. The entire event was being fed through one food truck window so there was a huge line to get food, easily about 30 mins standing in line. The event was picnic style and where we were sitting there wasn't enough light to even see our food. It advertised live entertainment but the only entertainment we saw was a DJ in a corner spinning tunes that only they were rocking out to.
