Given the exuberant price I would expect the price to reflect the level of the amenities provided.

$340 a night for a family cabin.

Not enough hot water for more than 1 person at a time. The first person gets 2 minutes, then lukewarm. Second person gets lukewarm and third ice cold. No matter what time of day.

No basic cutlery or plates. Not even a knife to cut bread.

The restaurant area has tables and chairs from Bunnings but charges like a restaurant in Perth.

I just watched someone bring their dog that then squatted down and peed beside one of the tables. Disgusting.

$140 for 2 adult meals, 1 child and 2 cocktails. Bear in mind Samuel on mill you get a 3 course meal for this.

Breakfast $22 for a wrap…. 2 coffee 2 wraps $55.

Drinks are ridiculously expensive considering the wine is all from Denmark (and terrible) and costs $19. Here it’s $35.

The infamous infinity pool is ice cold and could at least be heated. Allowing day passes for visitors is profiteering at the price of paying guests. For a crammed experience with limited area to put down a towel and not a hope in hell of a lounger.

Having done this now but wouldn’t return.

The gouging is ridiculous.

Awesome caravan Park. Stayed there by myself with a tent and a car. $18 a day unpowered site. Lots of walking trails to beautiful destinations. Infinity pool with a stunning view. You can swim in the lake, no problem at all. Went to a massive Kaiak ride through the lake, it's gorgeous. Facilities are well maintained and cleaned everyday. Live music at night. Kitchen closes super early, 19: 30. Food and drinks are pricey.

The place is chaos. No bookings and no space to camp. Don't believe the pictures either, the Infinity pool is so so packed with children that I'm surprised there's any water left in the pool at all.
There's so much space here, yet you're left with a monopoly of accommodation which does not have capacity for the amount of people coming, and they don't care one bit.

A must stop off for all travellers. Atmosphere galore; edge less pool; afternoon and evening entertainment; amazing staff.

Great base for visiting the lake and other attractions. Was not to busy and able to get a shaded spot with a view

The best Caravan Park I've stayed at. The activities like cruises/ tours are a bit pricey but the park itself is exceptional & there are some good walking trails etc you can do. The amenities are by far the best we've come across, individual bathrooms not communal one's and they are spotless. Well worth the money staying here. The pool is cold but I don't see why people are saying that's a bad thing, it's so nice to cool down in there, a heated pool would be no good anyway!

A nice resort/caravan park. Those using the family chalet, just be weary that it probably isn't suitable for little children 2 years and under, as the kitchen is in the middle of the demountable chalet and there isn't a section for them to roam free without touching bins/going into bathrooms/going into the kitchen.

Next time we'll get the bigger sized chalet, but other than that, a very beautiful place & well kept grounds.

Highly recommend, scenery, history, the lake, affinity pool. Great coffee and very relaxing having a drink or meal in the beer garden. All dog friendly.

Helpful staff and clean facilities. Make sure you take advantage of the hikes around the area, including the ridge hike. It only takes about an 1.5 hour return to complete but it’s a good morning or evening adventure. Similarly, the walk down to the bottom of the damn is good as well. Good coffee and a pretty darn good pool too

What a lovely place to visit. Take a short walk over the dam wall and you will discover an oasis that is shady and quite spectacular just below the wall. The caravan park has an infinity pool that is incredible. You feel like you are looking over the whole world from there. The park itself is shady with reasonable sized van sites. The amenities are excellent. There is a restaurant, bar and general store there as well. We loved our time there an the memory will stay with us forever.

Great ablutions, beautiful views. A bit pricey, especially the tours etc, so make sure you bring a full wallet

Stayed in unpowered site. Not in the peak but in school holidays. The place is well looked after. The pool doesn’t open until 7am which is late considering the sun comes up at 530am. The pool is also small so it’s very busy! The staff are great and friendly. Tours are kinda pricey but worth it. No reception which makes it extremely peaceful and you can really relax!
Great little walks around the place to check out the views as well.

Beautiful place, lots to see and do during the day, either doing some of the trails, swimming in the pool, watching the sunset on the sunset cruise. Very friendly staff and good food. You can sit at the beer garden at night and share some food with friends over live music. 100% would recommend

Has heli flts from park but is not noisy. Also great individual shower/toilets.new and modern! So impressed with this park. Wish we could stay for week.
