Lake Argyle Caravan Park reviews
60Good place.and service. We were really impressed with the services provided by Belli in restaurant and sunset cruise. Will visit again.
We had an amazing time in the Lake Argyle area. The park has an amazing infinity pool that we used during the hot days. The pools situation views right across Lake Argyle Dam and beyond. Stunning! The caravan park is nice and shady to deal with the heat and note that the workers are out there making the park as cool as it can with their lovely sprinklers. Facilities are all very clean. Thank you Discovery - Lake Argyle. Chewers Caseyand Jill from Victoria
A beautiful park set approx 30 metres above Lake Argyle with fantastic views of the lake and its islands from some cabins and the infinity pool. Being Spring time, it's now very hot, and the pool itself doesn't have any shade, but there is a shade sail on some grassed area.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the park is dog friendly.
The only negative was that the restaurant was very expensive and the musician that played this week was far too loud for the number of people there. Whilst he was playing, my husband and I could not have a conversation as it was too loud.
Definitely a perfect spot to stay in the cooler time of year. The sunsets are magnificent.
We stayed on a powered site which was great and very shady. This place does need to number its sites though, as it is very confusing
Had an unpowered site. Grounds are well kept and facilities are excellent and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and felt very safe.
Beware this park refuses to take cash? And to add to this when you pay with your credit card you have extra fees added without your knowledge or consent park is over priced and the park and management needs an overhaul
Beautiful place. Looking forward to hiring a bbq boat for a sunset cruise. The infinity pool just tops off the whole experience.
Great place to stop and refresh on your journey. We stayed 3 nights in a cabin. Park was well maintained and pool was great. Busy place at times by the look.
What an amazing place.the scenery, the staff, the facilities, just everything about this place is spectacular
Good park for what and where it is. Staff were mostly friendly & courteous despite being understaffed
Definitely the most underwhelming Park in WA. Grass oval site is miles from very dated amenities. Recommend doing this as a day trip from Kunanurra.
G'Day have a lot of work to do here to being it up to their usual good standards.
Best caravan park. Infinity pool.amazing.
Restaurant/Bar/ entertainment.
Was awesome
Day Pass very reasonable price t use all facilities, beautiful views, lawns, pool, walk to swim in the lake.
Caravan park a little run down but lovely setting, nice (but small) infinity pool. Good bar and entertainment. Able to book tours here.
Nice location, lovely (albeit freezing) pool. Avoid the pub food though, poor quality at ridiculous prices.
Nice and friendly staff. Great location and sunset cruise was amazing. Very short staffed though with rubbish overflowing.
Excellent spot on the cliffs surrounding Lake Arvyle. Nice large sites and plenty of activities to undertake or just relax.
Great location, very good park and amenities and woukd have rated it 5 stars EXCEPT, they had NO grocery items at all.
We'd just come across the N. T.border so had no fruit or veg. We were then 'trapped' into having to buy they're meals there.
Just a few basic items would make all the difference even if at inflated prices.
At the present time Covid is addressed here, you must wear a mask into the Reception/Booking/Bar/cafe/restaurant. And also on the bus taking you to the boat attractions on the Argyle Lake/Ord River. We did the Sunset Cruise, Mon our bus driver was very informative and showed us a few attractions before getting on the boat. Our lovely, funny, full of life informative Captain Tracey, gave us a great trip. We stopped twice for 2 short swims, saw crocodiles, fish, (which she fed some bread too), birds, Wallabies, (which she also fed with grain) so we could take photos. We had a lovely afternoon tea and a few drinks on board. Beautiful scenery and a superb sunset before heading back to shore and Mon for the return trip to the Park. Seniors price was $94 each person. They have a beautiful infinity pool with terrific views, you can have a drink in the pool, as long as no glass is taken into the pool area. We had a caravan stay here, they cater for powered and unpowered sites. Lots of friendly faces we met on previous stays getting to here and a great bunch of people we met for the first time. Plenty of fun and friendly banter to be had. Great amenities, and friendly helpful Staff. It's a 35km trek off the highway, road good, few bumps few narrow stretches, few slight climbs, all manageable. Come stay relax and enjoy if in the area.
Great place to stay. We stayed in the villa with view overlooking the lake spacious & it has its own cooking facilities & full size fridge. The restaurant food eas really good never had a bad meal. Compliments to the chef.
The swimming pool is perfectly located overlooking Lake Argyle.
Plenty of room for caravans, motorhomes tents with large areas for cooking & showering
