I think it was one of the best breakfasts in Perth! So good! Just everything for everyone. And coffee mmmmmm

Just had a chill brunch here for my brother's birthday. Friendly staff, quick service, awesome food! Can't wait to go back and try their other stuff!

Coffee is decent here and food is pretty good. Service needs some serious attention though. Laika apparently provide table service, but it appears to be only for the most patient of people. My wife and I have been to Laika nearly every week for the last 8 months, and we've only had table service once. Trying to get someone's attention to serve you is a mission, I guess if you were lying on the ground you'd get the wait staff's attention because they walk around deliberately trying to avoid eye contact. It's often quicker to go up to the counter to order, because at least then you've paid and avoided the situation of trying to get the wait staff's attention a second time.
The bakery and Kettle nearby also offer great coffee, and the food is comparable. 3 good options in Lathlain right near each other.

Good coffee, prompt service to table, pleasant staff, variety and food quality at premium. Open space inside and out including play court yard for family activities eg: shoot to the hoops.

Really nice mid week breakfast spot. Great courtyard area out the back, good food (quite big rich serves) and coffee. Even has a basketball half court for a shoot around post meal.

I am addicted to their crumpets and I love getting my take away coffee and muffins there too. Great place to go with your dog!

Fantastic venue in the hood, rotating menu offers extensive choice of delicious dine in and take away bites, value and quality is always on top, keep it that way guys! Oh and coffee is bloody good!

Excellent little cafe in Lathlain/Carlisle. Lots of well thought out options and you can see why it is busy, because it is all quality. Coffee great, service great, atmosphere great, food great. If you're in the area, don't miss out.

Walked in without a reservation; they found us a table for two within a few minutes; ordered a few items. Enjoyed the cold brew ️ - it came with a seperate glass of ice; also ordered the noodle salad - the coriander and sesame flavours reminded me of Yusheng at Chinese New Year.

First time having breakfast there today. What I ordered was good. The place has ring courtyard to play basketball at the back. One thing I mind was when I entered, carpet on the floor was full of dog hair. Perhaps it wasn't vacuumed daily.

Excellent coffee! Great variety of treats and snacks in cabinet! Amazing options in menu, you cannot get those dishes anywhere else (for example: prosciutto and rocket parmesan, potato rosti, fritters with beetroot hummus and laika stack)! Well presented and lots of food made in cafe so therefore unique. Dogs allowed. Kids have plenty to do (new outdoor grass area). Always quick service!

Came here during the day and was greeted by and conversed with very friendly staff, a great coffee, and a cute mug for me to enjoy it in!

The mug was a bonus, but I really enjoyed my time!

Working around the corner, always happy to come by Laika, never disappointed with the food or drink, great atmosphere. Whoever designed this place did an amazing job.

Gets very busy, so pick your time. I do wonder - do they use the basket ball out the back?

Came here on a public holiday, was fairly busy, had table service on this day. Coffee was really good. Food was decent. Kids play area out the back with grass and benches.

Had a blast here this morning. We ordered the avo smash, 2 chicken burgers, banana bread and a Benny. They were delicious!
Loved the coffees as well and we'll surely be coming back.
I 100% recommend this place.

I had the vegan crumpets topped with grilled banana, mixed berries, freeze dried raspberries, maple syrup and coconut yogurt ($17) - absolutely delicious!

Laika is a spacious cafe with a large grassed outdoor seating area and even a basketball court attached (great for keeping kids entertained!).

Other vegan options on their menu include quinoa porridge, beetroot hummus (with mushrooms, broccolini & sweet potato crisps), avo smash and a breakfast stack. The crumpets also come as a smaller version on the kids menu.
