La Veen Coffee - Heritage

The space was quite small, but fret not, there are tables available outside. The service was great, they were super friendly. We came for breakfast before spending the day in the city and at Murray street mall.

Their coffee was probably the best I had on my trip to Perth.absolutely loved the flat white and cappuccino, it had just the right amount of kick you'd need in the morning.paired it with their tomato and cheese croissant and Salmon Bagel, was an amazing way to start our day.

Came here on Thursday afternoon around 10: 30am. The staff at the counter so rude. Because the coffee grinder was really loud and I couldn’t hear what she said so she proceed to yell really loud made sure the whole store could hear, so every looked at me, made me feel so embarrassing, and after that she couldn’t even say “ thank you”. I don’t know how good your coffee is but doesn’t mean you can treat customer like dirt. Will never come back again.

Chilled vibe on early Sunday morning. Great atmosphere blended with nice warm coffee scent. Chicken baguette cannot be better. Signature affogato was the highlight. It definitely stood out from other shops with house made ice cream unique presentation

After reviews here, I was looking forward to getting coffee while in town. I asked the lady what time they opened, and she said 06: 30, so I sat outside in the cold waiting for opening, only to witness multiple people leave to store with coffee. When I asked why people were leaving with coffee but I had to wait until 06: 30 she explained that "if people come into the store and ask coffee, we serve them, you can order if you like". So, with that half-hearted offer and poor customer service, I declined and went elsewhere. It doesn't matter how good your coffee or food is. Good customer service is what sustains business.

*FYI*, La Veen does not offer made to order breakfasts anymore. I'm not sure when they stopped, but we went there this morning and were disappointed to find that the only food you could get was the stuff that was in the display fridge. Premade. Can't speak to what it was like because we didn't hang around. Disappointing as the photos of the food they used to make looked amazing.

This is the most amazing place to eat breakfast, I had a eggs Benedict with Sauted Mushroom and Chocolate Crossiant, the whole vibe of the place with the location and the outside sitting makes your day.

Great place to have brunch! Food was actually really good - not too salty and strong. The shakerato (iced long black) was very good too️️.
Really miss good old cronuts though!

I recently booked La Veen Coffee Cart for a large event, and they didn't disappoint. The cart was a hit, and even more so was their coffee with guests coming back for a second. I can't thank Benjamin enough for his professionalism and fantastic customer service during the event. I will definitely book them again for future events. Highly recommend!

Amazing little cafe. A real gem. Great food and coffee (which the locals know about it the line for coffee was anything to go by). Good and coffee came out fast though so no really long waits The staff were really friendly too Love these old buildings too so win win for me

I've never been to this cafe before, but I have gone past it. This cafe vibes are great, Ive been welcomed by the lovely staff as waiting to be seated. Today I wanted a quiet place to read my book and chill. Fits the criteria. The best advice to try out a different cafe, is to try their specialities, so I ordered the Barista Starter ($11) and to finish off with something sweet (Waffle $17). The waffle absolutely tasty and the visuals are amazing. The Barista Starter tastes like - epresso - acidic like ph of 7 or 8 / flat white - mellow and subtle / batch brew - iced tea? / cold brew - has a hint of liquorice for some reason, but it was very interesting to see they all have different flavour profiles.
It was helpful to know, they tell you which one it is for.

Take a world successful breakfast and murder it. Full English become a soggy bottom. Spinach and kale, why? No plate, could not put bread in the saucepan, and left with a puddle in the pan. Ate because I was starvin. It's a massive thumbs down.

Such a lovely and Cozy Corner space to have My all time Favourite Waffles. Great Coffee and Vibes.

Great brunch spot in the heart of Perth City. Some meals were filling and some, just enough to satisfy your cravings. Quite the hype for a cup of coffee, it was nice and smooth, with a bit of an over-rated taste. Recommend to taste and enjoy:)

I had breakfast / brunch here on a few occasions while on holidays in Perth - loved this cafe more than others. Great central location, easy to get to, friendly staff, instagrammable presentation of food and drinks, yummy coffee - what not to like? Sometimes it would get a bit too busy, but regardless - definitely worth a visit!

Horrible experience
Got the la veen breakfast and potato rosti which were both tiny servings and poorly made.
The pan the breakfast came in had a pool of water at the bottom from the mushrooms being undercooked
The food was flavour less and cold

Beautiful ambience - cosy, east-coast feel.
Coffee is good for Perth but not exceptional.
Staff are efficient. Service is pretty friendly - although they get busy and stressed.

Coffee was ok, food not the best bacon was undercooked and fatty pouched eggs undercooked. Vibes good but shame about the food
