My apologies, kwinana medical centre and Alpha medical centre are 2 seperate medical centres but you will Always in great hands when seen by the medical professionals and staff at Kwinana Medical medical Centre

Apparently doctors dont remove stitches? Really? Only the nurse (who is sick and not currently working) is able to do this. Unable to drive to another medico due to injury i suppose the stitches will remain in for another few days. No help from these faux

Absolute joke. Trying to cancel a double appointment over the phone as the app or sms wont let me cancel, only to be on hold for 10 mins, hung up on and then on hold for 20 mins with no end in sight. Fair enough they may be short staffed, but get an answering service so people can leave a message! Do you think I have nothing better to do than hang around and wait to tell you I can't make it because I have a sick kid? Seriously, get a better system it's a joke! By the way, don't try and bill me for the missed appointment!

Was told only after I arrived for my appointment that they are no longer bulk billed and I would be paying $70 for my appointment. Practitioner was late so I was left waiting over 50mins for my appointment. Absolute joke.

Good practice that has handy opening hours and bulk bills. Most staff are very pleasant, from reception to the nurses to the doctors.

The biggest problem with this practice is that there's next to no continuity of care, with doctors leaving without warning all the time. Makes things very difficult if you have chronic conditions that require ongoing care, as most of the appointment is taken up by just getting the new doctor up to speed on your history.

Dr Oluwatoyin Adeyemo is very dismissive of pain, and has twice refused to prescribe painkillers when required. After one appointment for a severe ear infection in which she told me Panadol or Nurofen would be fine, I ended up in Emergency in the middle of the night in agony. I would not recommend her for acute, painful conditions.

Edit: it’s becoming impossible to contact this practice, and their published opening hours are incorrect. Phone calls all go straight to hold, and are never answered. It seems like they’re just slowly fading out of business.

Booked appointment a month in advance to see the doctor for my 6 month old daughter and month later just one day before the appointment they left voice message to tell me the can't see my daughter coz they don't take new patients. Why wait one day before the appointment to tell me this. If the told me earlier I could of made appointment somewhere else. We won't be going there anymore just avoid

I have been patient and understanding with their perpetual short-staffedness and busy practice for months. After all, it’s not the staff’s fault, and they are a bulk billing practice during a time when every company out there is running low on employees. But seriously, management have run this place into the ground and it’s way beyond what’s acceptable and to be expected now.

First of all, don’t bother calling them. Ever. Receive a missed call or message to call them back? Doesn’t matter. Their after hours number is disconnected, and their regular number doesn’t even ring, just drops you straight into a hold queue. Want to be patient and wait for someone to be free to answer your call? Ha! I don’t think it’s even physically possible, I think their “telephone queue” is just a de facto limbo state that calls are diverted to, with no way for staff to answer.

Want to know when they’re open? Grab a magic 8-ball and wish really hard for some insight. Gossip from the nearby businesses say they’re no longer open weekends anymore, just 8-6 Monday to Friday. Oh, you came down at 5 and they were already closed? Well, sometimes they close early if they don’t have any appointments, or only open 9-5. No, they don’t advertise this anywhere. You called them 20 minutes before 5, and they’d left already without answering your call? Yeah, I’ve heard a few people complain about their phones…

Want to hear this from someone actually at the practice? You’d better be able to get in to see them when they’re actually open (aka the third Tuesday of the month when the moon is in its waxing gibbous state), as these new/inconsistent hours aren’t posted anywhere. Not outside the practice, not on Google, not on their Facebook page, not on their website.

Don’t even bother with them. Until their management gets their mess together, just consider this company to be out of business.

The doctors always seem overworked, burned out and lack social skills (e.g. Rude). When I went my doctor missed reading my blood test results correctly. Initially insisted she had read them right but me knowing my history said that the result should say x. I went there for an issue, got prescribed the wrong medication, went back and asked the receptionist if I could I could get a new prescription. The receptionist was very apologetic and said she would ask the doctor to fill out a new prescription. I said I would come and pick it up the next day. The next day came around and the doctor forgot to make me a new prescription. The receptionist, again really apologetic and polite said she would get the doctor to make me a new one first thing the next day and call me when the script is ready. The next day came around and the receptionist called to notify me the script was ready. I picked it up and the pharmacist said the script was again wrong and that she will talk to the doctor herself. It took 4 days after my initial appointment for me to get my medication. Very disappointed. Would have preferred to make my complaint privately but there is no email address on the website. I really hope they improve their service!

It might be time to move on, now that my favourite doctor has left. I tried a new doctor the other day and was disgusted with her lack of compassion and dismissive attitude.

EDITED TO ADD: THIS IS THE CENTRE I HAD A BOOKING WITH AND EITHER THE RECEPTIONIST LIED ABOUT HER NAME OR THE OWNER IS LYING IN THEIR COMMENT BELOW.
Hannah was incredibly rude with a disgusting attitude. I was 3 mins late for an appointment and all she needed was to say is politely it's too late. I did not need the attitude and rudeness. Utterly appalling. Do not recommend.

Totally discussing I made a appointment a telephone appointment at 3.20pmi waited till 4.00pm I rang them told that the doctor looking at my file should be to long I waited 5.00 pm then was told doctor phone me when he about to leave at the end I didn’t get the call I don’t recommend this surgery not reliable

Usually have no issue. However I called up requesting an appointment just so I could refill my scripts (both scripts refilled previously by two different doctors at this centre)
I was offered telehealth as nothing else was available for over a week. The doctor I had was an absolute nightmare. Didn't believe in what I had been prescribed for one of my scripts despite the fact I had proven results. Shoved their opinion in my face. And I ended up with only ONE out if TWO scripts and I realised after hadn't lowered the dosage like I had asked.
It's hard enough speaking to doctors. I don't need them pushing their beliefs in me, when what I have been given by two other GPs is actually working for me

My daughter and myself are new to this practice and visited last week, we would now never go anywhere else. Both Dr Flefel and Dr Williams were fantastic! Both great listeners and were very thorough Also the girl at the front desk I believe her name was Ange, was wonderful! Happy helpful with a touch touch of humour which, nothing was too much for her which made us feel very comfortable especially as my daughter suffers anxiety. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend the place!

I have seen both Dr Dixon and Dr Fleyfel both are excellent Drs and have assisted me with long term issues, that other Drs have dismissed. I feel so much better
Since. My only issue is they don't update their website regarding closures, trying to call and doesn't state when they are opening after nrw year either!

I'm not giving them any stars as they are useless but it won't allow me to post unless I give a star this surgery is. Is a training facility for new young doctors who don't know how to do their jobs properly I went for a sinus problem my face has swelled up due to it and they wouldn't help me my last doctor sent me for scans and proscribed me antibiotics the 777 pharmacy next door was much more helpful than these quacks
