Diassapointing excessive charge just to access beach. Put a real dampener on our time there. Don't mind paying but $50fir the family to access beach is a bit rich. Shame Koojaman.

Spectacular coastline in a remote part of the Dampier Peninsula - accessible by 4WD or light aircraft. Nearby Kooljaman Resort is an oasis of facilities including an excellent restaurant. Recommend sun screen, broad brimmed hat and closed in shoes when taking 10 minute walk to beach down hot and sandy track.

Great camping on the Cape experience! Food, service and friendliness of restaurant staff was also wonderful.

Went for a day trip and wish we’d stayed for a night or two. Awesome beach. Incredible colours. Good food. Friendly staff.

A must see place in Australia. We booked a tour with Bolo Angus that was incredible. So much profound traditional knowledge, really hands on, highlight of our trip around the country.

Lovely spot to see. Bit of a walk to the beach but it is on a board walk and easy enough to get around. The cafe area has Lovely views out over the Cape.

Yes - this is Australia that we love and treasure - beautiful scenery of beaches and coastline.

We came and saw in 2015 and wanted to show our 3year old this time around.

However - Broome and its surroundings have plenty of similar natural pleasures to show - like Quandong Point or cable Beach that is more than equal to experience.

It's sad to see that under the cover of indigenous ownership the operators find it excusable to charge a $20 per person plus $5 for the little one to walk the beach. That wasn't the case in 2015 as far as we remember and puts a damper on our 2 hours trip from Broome to visit Cape Leveque.

You can have a coffee and visit the scenery from their balcony if you don't like to be part of a rib-off - however we like to thank the real traditional owners for inviting us at the start of your road in with that sign post and we certainly enjoyed the view onto your land. However - you should consider to add a price tag to your sign to make potential visitors aware of what they are in for.

Our tip to other travellers is to skip this "attraction" and spend the savings at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm Bistro instead for a great lunch

Delicious lunch. Barra and salad. Fruit player juice water. Lovely setting and way out in the never never. Who would have thought?

Great spot spoiled a bit by the cleanliness of the showers and toilets. They need more coat hooks and the judicious use of bleach to clean the showers of mould

Honestly over rated and the receptionist is a mole, who should not be working in customer service (I heard this from many other people on our visit)
Such a turn off when the face of the place is non smiling, unhelpful, can’t be bothered attitude. Seriously lady if you’re reading this, your time in customer service is well and truly over.
It’s such a shame they’ve taken this beautiful landmark and charge such a high rate to visit for the day and camping is the same price (I recommended booking a site for a night, even if you’re not staying, so you can drive down closer to the beach).
I don’t see how they can say its safe to swim as there’s no crocs there, literally crocs all over the coast there.
Such a disappointment.skip it and go to cygnet bay pearl farm

Forget it! $20 each to walk for 3 minutes to the lighthouse - after having lunch there. 7 km further on to the pearl farm for tour.

Stayed in the "glamping" safari tents and to be honest although very clean it was quite scruffy and run down. For the prices they charge it could do with a revamp. Staff are lovely and it was very peaceful but would not book the safari tent again unless they do them up.

Sensational camp ground. The unpowered sites get front row seats for the amazing sunset. The swimming beach is great. Very helpful staff

Just a gorgeous spot to go stay for a few days. With the sunrise on one side, and the sunset on the other, there is no lack of beautiful walks, beaches and photos to be had at Kooljaman. Good facilities which were kept really clean. Camp kitchen is just basically a stove, some kettles and a sink. Bring pots/pans, soap, sponges and any other equipment you may need.

Looked at the menu online, nothing like it was. Mainly fried food, burgers. No salads or anything impressive. $20/pp to walk to the beach.

Had a very bad experience. Paid for a tour by credit card but had to cancel it. The Management said, they never received the money. I sent them the bank statement which showed that my credit card was balanced by Kooljamans. Still they did not want to refund the money and told me that they did not charge my card. After more proof that they did, they finally agreed to refund the amount, but 5 month later I have still not received it back. It seems someone there keeps the money for himself. Lost all my trust in them!
Beside this, the location is awesome.

The roads in is nearly finished. Beautiful beaches just watch the tides so you dont get stuck in a cover. Some of the rocky areas are sacred to the aboriginal people. Be mindful only leave footprints when you go.

Beautiful sunsets, gorgeous location, for fishing and swimming. And very friendly warm staff at the reception. A must when in Dampier peninsula.
