KiRi Japanese Restaurant reviews
39Kiri Japanese is really good quality Japanese. They have eel on the menu which most Japanese places don't. It's pretty authentic. I am yet to try most of the dishes. The eel was an acquired taste, the Wagyu was delicious. I plan to go back for the katsu curry to see if it on point. Stay tuned
Normally this place is our favourite for Japanese but this time it was very disappointing. Waited an hour and a half for our food. When we asked the wait staff they were apologetic but still no food. One meal arrived but it was still a long wait for the other two (which was two of the same dish). Once arrived tempura was very heavy in batter and oil. Not up to typical standard.
Great quality Japanese food. Smoked cod is delicious. Sashimi was super fresh. Service was attentive. Slightly pricey for the experience but overall definitely a place worth going.
Could not fault a single thing with our experience at Kiri.
Staff were very knowledgeable and attentive.
Service was prompt and friendly.
Atmosphere and ambiance was warm and relaxed.
Food was beyond amazing. Every plate was fresh, full of flavour, presented beautifully and every dish had its own distinctive flavour profile.
Perfect night out.
Food is good but it takes to long (on a Wednesday night) and comes in dribs and drabs. 7 of us ate alone. Won’t be coming back.
Mains are amazing, some of the best value and taste in Perth, however smaller dishes below average. Still one of my favourite Japanese Restaurant.
Easily one of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth. I don't really rate fine dining (Nobu), this food and service was way better than Nobu. A definite must if you're a Perth foodie.
After getting some recommendations my partner and I said we’d check it out, pretty disappointed to be honest, extortionate prices for pretty basic food, staff were friendly but we had to wait so long between servings, $32 for 3 small pieces of deep fried fish and veggies we won’t be going back.
We waited 90mins for the entree, then was charged for a meal we didn't order, which was double the price. We were treated abysmally by the staff and owner. Never again.
If you do not have booking do not even try to go there, even during the week. Call and book before you go
They having lots of trouble about the service and waiting time. That was insanely slow! Every dish came out of the kitchen one by one with 10min between them.we spend so much time waiting. 1h30 for a couple a friends on a Thursday evening.we had to ask to get water and get our table clean of empty glasses.
Portions were ok or a but small for a expensive cost.
I willnot go back there. There is plenty of reasonable and quicker places in Perth.
AMAZING JAPANESE FOOD! SUPER AUTHENTIC! You have to book at least a week in advance if you want a table in the restaurant side on a friday or saturday. The staff are amazing, especially the one named Anna, always makes you laugh and very attentive!
We used to go there a few years ago and loved it but were quite disappointed by the food and the fact that when you dine in the food is served in plastic containers: - (
Food was great but the service was very poor (or should I say non existent?) We waited 1h40 to get our mains. 6 people at our table and no one got their food at the same time.
Very disappointing when you’re paying such prices.
A bit disappointed. We used to go to this restaurant years ago. We found the found quality was not as good and were very disappointed by all plastic they use to serve lunch. Dinner maybe completely different though.
One of the best Japanese Restaurant in Perth. Very underrated. Always consistent and great food
Wonderful and lovely food. Dining in is a lovely experience with great food.
The only thing I have is that I wish they have all the dined in options with takeaway.
A real local treasure where the food is authentic Japanese, beautifully presented and always wonderfully attentive staff.
I did the kaiseki. Absolutely fantastic Japanese food! Service was average (didn't know what food they were serving us several times). I'd normally take a star off for that, but the food was so good and it really made me feel like I was back in Japan, so full 5 stars it is!
