Kim's Fish & Chips

Ordered by phone got there fish and chips sitting on counter going cold asked for chiko roll.they didn't do a chino it was something else. Ordered 2 shark batter fell off fish.the fish was like rubber.never go there again

L have been buying there fish and chips for sins it has opened 95 percent of the time Grate so don't believe most of these complaints.

After looking at the reviews I was expecting something other than what I got

We have been looking for awhile now for a good, not over priced fish & chip shop, after trying this shop we will not be looking any more. Since writing this we have returned many times NEVER a change in taste always GREAT service and GREAT food.

Now a few months later unfortunately this shop is well and truly overcooking most food and still flour and undercooked on other food. VERY VERY disappointing.

Walk in customers are queued behind phone and delivery orders. Paid for and waited in the shop for 30 minutes for one serving of fish and chips then was asked what I was waiting for. Had to get back to work so asked for a refund and was ignored three times. They rushed my order through and received it 5 minutes later. It didn’t get eaten and stayed on the car seat until after work then got binned. Understaffed and badly managed. Do not recommend.

Been here twice first time paid for 2 potato cakes not there - second time paid for 2 pineapple fritters not there - ripped off. I wonder how many other people are getting ripped off?

Worst fish and chips I've ever eaten, service was terrible we sat waiting for over 45 mins for our order. The fish was terrible had that jelly like texture that frozen fish has. Would never go back!

What was supposed to be a relaxing Good Friday dinner with my family turned into a complete nightmare. We ordered over $100 worth of food before 6pm and the order was pushed back several times before being cancelled at 7;55pm leaving us with no alternate options as everything shuts at 8pm. Tried calling and phones off. Just disgusting.

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Fish was like jelly and smelt horrible. Incredibly overpriced

Went back down at 4.30 when they opened back up to get my messed up order sorted and the owner which was the person who served me at lunch reckons I ordered mussels. Her customer service was appalling towards me walking off and refusing to do anything about it. I will NEVER be going back there again. I also would have posted ZERO stars but had to put at least one star. RIDICULOUS

Terrible service. 1 hour and 10 minutes for $8 worth of chips and 2 dim sims. They forgot my order then the Uber drivers kept getting preference. The poor girls serving were so stressed. The owner needs to stop taking orders for a while when they get overwhelmed.

If you buy in store be prepared to be waiting.a long time
Delivery drivers take priority over your order.

Ordered at 4: 27pm via uber eats. At 5: 30pm order appeared as cancelled on the app. Called up and was told non confirmed bookings were cancelled. Not sure why an uber eats booking is not confirmed. Supported this business more than a dozen times however will never again! Disgraceful service!

Terrible customer service, dont answer their phone, extremely rude staff.

Terrible service from owner ordered a meal from Menulog half our order wasn’t delivered we were told by staff from Kim’s that we could get a refund the next day went there to collect refund and told by staff that they were told by the owner not to give us anything! Not going here to get our meals ever again they have lost a good customer! Coogee plaza fish and chips here we come!

REVOLTING fish. The chips and batter were ok, but the fish was slimy and mushy, none of us could eat it. I called to complain, she said it “is very popular” and next time I should ask for it to be more cooked. I said there will not be a next time- and she started SCREAMING at me “WHY YOU CALL TO COMPLAIN” and hung up. Do not recommend.

The fish and chips was fine but the snapper was horrible, it was very hard and not soft at all as u can see, i dont think it was properly cooked.

Was not impressed with the service I received tonight very disappointing with the way I was served by the staff members and especially the manager of the store was spoken to very rudely in front of other customers after I asked what happened with the $6 worth of chips I asked for them to refund me for the missing chips and was told sorry sir this isn’t part of our policy I wouldn’t suggest or recommend ordering from them in the near future this is the second time they have stuffed up my order in the past month
