Kim's Fish & Chips

Over priced fish and chips family meal ($75.00). And I did not get any chips with it so I went back to the shop to ask for the chips but the staff was unhelpful and walked at the back door, then an old Asian lady said I was lying and she also said I know your type you people just want more how rude was that! Definitely do not recommend this fish and chips shop to anyone! Over priced and poor customer service and after all that I did not receive any chips for their stuff up.

Worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. $5 of chips didn't even feed 2 people and the fish had so much batter on it. Not going back. Very disappointed.

Was just 2 ladies running the show by themselves. They where fairly busy yet managed to get our meals smashed out in 15mins and they where delicious to boot.

Cancelled order after 25min in the uber eats system. So we rang them to ask why cancelled. They hung up

Then we ordered again on uber eats giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Rang to confirm it wouldn't be cancelled again and the lady on phone kept saying uber stupid and what they listed on uber eats the store wouldnt honor. Then they hung up again.

Spent the next 20min wondering if any food coming. Finally arrived.

Disappointed to see all servings upon opening have a big pot of salt just sitting on top of each fish. Never seen anything like it. Hopefully not ruined with a pile of salt

Price has gone up and the amount of chips you get with your fish has shrunk. Was a good place to get fish and chips but not anymore and could do with better customer service.

You only get one chance with me and it didn’t go well.
Over priced, fish very questionable, chips-not enough …
still hungry after $33 for 2 people.

Possibly the worst F&C I’ve ever had.

Absolutely disgusting fish and chips. The batter was so thick and just horrible. The fish was mush maybe under cooked. We asked for extra cooked chips it definitely wasn’t. We understand it was busy so waiting 45 mins is fine but for horrible food it’s not. Kim’s Hamilton hill is much better.

We waited for 10 mins but it so worth it. We got freshly fried fish n chips, very crispy chips n seasoning is good, fish is bit mushy but still good value. Clean shop

Ordered the family and Fish was under cooked, prawns over cooked, squid rings over cooked and crab sticks were the only thing worth eating. Called up the owner and was asked to bring back the fish for him to re-cook. The cheek! We said it was in the bin and wasn’t driving back. The owner was very unapologetic and told us the fish is Basa fish. Probably buys it frozen for $4 bucks a kilo at Spudshed. No wonder it was watery. Never going back to waste another $64 bucks again.

2 visits and both times I have been told over the phone it’s 15 minutes for the food to be ready. We specifically asked on the phone first as we don’t want to wait for extended period of time. Both times we have now come to collect the food and been told it’s still a 10 minute wait. That 10 minutes turns into over a 25 minute wait. They lie and trick you over the phone to get your order, then take your money at the counter and tell you it’s still not ready. Terrible way of running the business and getting the young kids to lie for you.

These were the best we’ve had for a very long time! Fish was so good and a good amount of chips!

I was sold burnt food, The lady I assume owner didnt apologise just made multiple excuses for it, She then started mouthing off at me when I was outside walking away just like an immature teenager Terrible Customer Service

Disgusting service. Ordered through ubereats on Good Friday at 4.30. At 6pm order got cancelled because of no delivery partners. Re-ordered it as a pick up and said to collect at 6.42. Husband waited along with heaps of other people until 8.45pm still no food and hadn't even cooked our food yet! Eventually order was ready after 9pm. Never ever again. Owner was very rude and abusive too

Walked in to order was told 15mins I was the only customer in there went for a walk came back waited 50 mins still hadn't started my order very poor customer service do not recommend!

Went straight into the bin! Burnt sausage and squid rings and grey fish. Manager not wearing a mask.

Never again.

Food is ok just like any fish and chip shop that uses frozen fish etc, however the staff here are horrifically underpaid, with no “extras” given to them such as super and weekend/P. H rates… the bare minimum really. It’s not worth supporting such a disgusting business. Would rate 0 stars if possible but I want people to know how this chain operates.

Needed a large order of chips for our group. The order was made on time and our group was impressed with the quality. Well done.

Absolutely some of the worst service I've had in a really long time. Food wasn't great either. Don't bother.

No Flairs Basic traditional Fish and Chips but oh so good!
We ALWAYS go to Kim’s Fish and Chips either in Hamilton Hill or Spearwood, but have also bought at the North Coogee branch. Owned by a Korean family. We always buy the Snapper which is pricier but well worth it. Our definite go to for Fish and Chips.

Order a meal got hm no chips went back told them to redo the whole order again because it was cold by then they said no prob when I got hm it was all sogy because they microwaved the old order but they said it was all redone throwed the whole order on the bin they lied not going back there no apologies nothing not good for business to lie to people
