Kimberleyland Waterfront Holiday Park Kununurra Accommodation reviews
72Such a beautiful caravan park. We stayed in one of the waterfront cabins and it was awesome. Dianne and Lyndell were absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this park
Had a very pleasant stay, very friendly and professional staff. Sites and abulitions clean, a bit squeezy on some sites. Views at sunset make up for it though.the snapping handbag enjoys sunsets too.
Lovely park, waterfront location, very clean amenities. The staff, particularly Dianne, was extremely helpful when we had some unforeseen problems. Will definitely be back
Your amazing staff were very accommodating, a very good welcome and so helpful. Thankyou ladies in the office, we had an awesome site.
Stunning views.
Great atmosphere.
The most friendly staff around.
Will definitely be back.
Couldn’t recommend Kimberleyland Caravan Park any higher. Thank-you so much Gina for your incredible customer service. We stayed in the Queen Poolside Cabin, which looked to be newly renovated, was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The park itself is beautiful and very well maintained, with a stunning lake as a backdrop.
Great service and nice stay. Got towed back here for repairs and stayed a few days and management were accommodating and sincere. Facilities great and cafe is handy. Mike the groundskeeper is a champion.
If you are staying in Kununurra I highly recommend Kimberleyland waterfront caravan Park it is beautiful
Must be one of the best managed parks downunder - nicely done - beautiful setting close to the water lake - occasionally freshies will visit and the sunrise is breathtaking.
Clean amenities and the little Cafe has a great selection of breakfast with top coffees on offer at reasonable prices.
Great effort by management to have life music performance around the pool and to keep campers updated via sms messages what's happening at camp.
Very impressive and highly recommended to stay when in Kununurra area.
Clementine made our stay an experience to remember, nothing was too much, friendly check-in and wonderful views
One of the best parks we have stayed in travelling Oz. Staff and amenities great and the site's right opposite lagoon great. Thanks very much Mike and Bev Smith
Kimberleyland is a great park. Good location. Very pretty down by the lake/wetlands area. Bigger than average sites and the entire park is well laid out. We were told they were a bit short staffed and if that be so then all must be putting in extra effort as nothing was left wanting. For reader info, we paid $65.25 a night for a powered site in early June with our G'day membership.
Beautiful big sites and nice big trees for shade, last time I stayed it was fully booked but still didn't feel busy. Lovely view of the lake and even unpowered sites are great! All amenities are clean and tidy. Walking distance to town centre. Plus there's a cafe on site. Have stayed here multiple times and have nothing to fault.
Excellent staff here, genuinely helpful& kind. Covid created problems for many of us travellers. Gabby found us two nights where there were none we needed to extend & Lyndel found us 3 more! Thanks team. Cafe is lovely, the Dutchman running the Cafe needs to be commended, very fast & efficient service. Food excellent, fresh & tasty, price good too.
The Park itself had roomy sites & sprinklers on rotation to keep it green. Showers great pressure & toilets clean.
All in all great busy park.
Stayed here in 2019 and it was great, coming back was disappointing, very friendly and helpful staff but the park was not prepared for the season's arrivals, cobwebs in the Ablution block and camp kitchen.with staff shortages and new Management learning the ropes cleanliness and site mgmt needs big improvements. Location is the biggest plus and some maintenance effort would bring it back to its former glory!
Very popular cafe with good coffee, awesome smoothies, friendly and attentive staff, food is light breakfast, snacks. Best to use App in the AM to pre order and save the wait.
Great park! Unbelievable service from Lyndell; could not find a better person to receive guests and take care of them. Spotless, modern bathrooms, generous sites.guess that's why we stayed here twice.so far.
What a fantastic park. The staff the park all the amenities and views are top notch. Had issues with my car and needed towing. Staff helped out with truck parking, nothing was too much trouble cant recommend highly enough.
The lakeside chalets was well worth the extra money. The surroundings were very calming and peaceful. The amenities was excellent.
We booked the new waterfront villa and paid the premium hoping for an excellent night at kimberleyland waterfront holiday park. We were extremely disappointed and wish we had of spent our money elsewhere.
1. The check in took over half an hour because the receptionist was on a long drawn out phone call about a booking 9 months ahead and couldn't place a caller on hold to pass me the key to our room.
2. The fans weren't working in the rooms. No prior notice was given.
3. The air-conditioning was leaking all over the floor. This was a known problem because the cleaner had left a towel to catch the water.
4. There was a construction site behind our villa (building more villas) that made it impossible to have an afternoon nap after a long 10hr drive prior to arriving.
This was during the school holidays of the low season. Paid top dollar for a room that was knowingly broken.
The dissatisfaction was reinforced upon arriving in Broome and paying $40 less a night to stay in one of the resorts and seeing how the standard was significantly better than what we experienced at kimberleyland holiday park kununarra.
