Kerry Street Pear Tree and wood fire pizzeria reviews
48Great pizzas we visited on a Friday evening and chose to sit outside to listen to the live music.great atmosphere and great food what more do you need?
Oh Dear, didn't the pizza look great. But after that experience I'll never eat one. Had to visit the shop to try and resolve an issue with their app. Issue unresolved but placed our order and waited. And we waited. And we waited. After nearly forty minutes asked the lady behind the counter for an update. 8 more minutes she says. Come back in 8 minutes. Not just any lady by the way but the owner, I go back after 10 minutes and I'm told it'll be another 10 mins. Had to ask for a refund and was confronted by a sleeve tugging waitress and the male owner. He was apologetic, but it was too late. First ever negative review I've ever left any business.
Just had the predictable response To my review from the Owner accusing me of being aggressive towards the female staff. No, not aggressive but very annoyed at the poor service. If I was aggressive then why an apology from you. Accept the honest review and try and make your business better and stop playing the blame game.
And I'm standing my ground. I had waited patiently for nearly an hour and still I was told a further 10 mins. Three pizzas, an hour and 10 mins and when I complain, your waitress manhandled me. Then, in the moment, you apologized to me. You're just trying to make a very bad review somebody else's problem.
Absolute gem of a place. Pizza was amazing and our host was awesome. Such a great vibe can't wait to check it out on a Friday night with the live music.
Lovely Freo sense of character about this place. Delicious pizzas and really lovely staff. We had the Mediterranean pizza and it was quite sensational. They also have a great selection of craft beers.
Always fantastic service, very tasty coffee, interesting and delicious breakfast. My favourite local cafe. Yet to try the pizza but I've heard nothing but rave reviews
It honestly doesn't get any better than this! Fantastic service, friendly staff, great coffee and some of the best bacon&egg rolls you'll ever taste =)
keep up the great work folks!
Staff are very lovely and welcoming. I ordered scrambled eggs on sour dough toast. It was alright but it lacked presentation and the toast was rock hard. I had to eat my scrambled eggs like a burger because my knife couldn't cut through the toast lol.
Recently visited this cafe for the first time, great relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee and the BEST bacon and egg roll I have ever eaten. Will be back
Great Pizzas, must try the 4 cheese truffle. Friday evening music and pizza. Very friendly service.
Great service and vibe. Food is always delicious. Perfect neighbourhood cafe. Love the play area in the back and live music on the weekend.
Best coffee spot in Hamilton Hill. My two young daughters enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while they have their Baby Chinos. Regular visitor. Dog friendly a+ so we can rest, recharge and walk home again.
Great little cafe. Excellent coffee and food. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Place was buzzing when we visited. Go check it out for yourself.
We had a small family birthday celebration here the other night. $20 per head for Pizzas and Garlic Bread. The Pizzas were delicious and the staff were amazing, even when asked to cater to the tastes of extremely fussy kids. I highly recommend this local cafe.
Best lamb sandwich in town!
Although I'm not sure if my appetite has grown or they've shrunk over time. I always want more!
Friendly service. Fantastic atmosphere. Best pizza outside Italy. Delicious craft beer. Will return - thank you!
Pizza for dinner was great. Food and drinks were affordable. Ashley the receptionist was very nice to us.
Good position, however we were disappointed in our lunch. I ordered a Greek hummus pita bread with sweet potato chips. For $18, I thought that it would at least include real sweet potato chips which I love.
When it arrived, there was no hummus on it and the sweet potato chips were dried! All that was on the bread was tomato and fetta cheese. I took it back to ask for the hummus, which they obliged and kindly gave me some more sweet potato chips.
My partner ordered the spicy pork pita but was very disappointed as he felt that there was no spice at all.
We have had pizzas there for dinner which were lovely, so we were very disappointed with this lunch, especially as it's my closest restaurant.
Great place for cyclists coffee stop.
Good service. Ok coffee, plenty of seating outside and place to park the bikes securely. No views to speak of, though.
Popped down here for brekky. Was a quaint little café with nice food and friendly staff. Didn't wait long for food to come out either. Will come again for sure. Hidden gem
Fantastic place! Went for brekkie and between us we had smashed avocado on toast and eggs Florentine with coffee and orange juice. I wish I had restrained myself enough to take a pic but it looked so good I dived right in.
Both meals were sublime, great flavours and constructed beautifully. Even the drinks were on point.
After brekkie was done we had to go back for a brownie (Gf) as it was calling to us. It was again amazing, so soft and gooey and not too sweet but powerful choc flavour.
The staff were very friendly and inviting. It was a pricey brekkie ($54) but well worth every cent. Thank you, if we are back in the area we know where we are coming to eat!
