Kerry Street Pear Tree and wood fire pizzeria reviews
48 5 stars for atmosphere and nice service but the food quality is not consistent. I am reluctant to come back again after paying $27 for a burnt long black and the salmon rosti breakfast, and it was 3 basic hash browns, a clump of mayo and smoked salmon with no presentation at all. Also no egg when I asked. I am disappointed and more broke, I’ll get over it but it’s not a financial risk I will take again.
I’m sorry for the bad review but it just really sucks to spend cash at a local venue and feel like there is no care put in to the food and coffee. I get that it’s a laid back non pretentious place but if that’s the case with the effort that is put into food and coffee then please charge heaps less.
The bacon and egg rolls are usually nice though! I’ve been for wine and pizza too on a Friday and that was lovely. Thank you.
Went for a coffee. Everyone was lovely. The place is lovely. But for a $6 regular soy coffee. There is a standard you expect. And this coffee was a long way from that standard. It was burnt, and the beans don’t have that lovely whole flavour I look forward to. I presume the beans in the hopper may have been in there overnight as they taste brittle …may be why the coffee may taste burnt also. The milk was far too hot and I prefer my milk hot… not boiling though. Couldn’t drink it
I’ll try again in a month and see if any better as to update this review.
Great little cafe on the outskirts of Freo', great coffee and banana cake had by all.
Good food, great coffee and a very nice atmosphere. Nice outside in summer and inside in winter
Lovely Cafe with friendly staff and good atmosphere. The coffee is good, and I haven't had a bad fresh orange juice yet. Have yet to try the meals, however from what I have seen they great.
The reason this get such a high score is due to several key factors. Smiles from the staff - this has an amazing affect on your day. Sunday morning entertainment - listening to a bunch of older guys playing blues tunes and singing the roots of rock is a deep pleasure for any person who appreciates music. The special bacon and egg roll in ciabatta bread is made with a great tomato relish. Summary: Smiles, live music, special breakfast sauce. That gives Kerry Street Pear Tree a significant lead over the vast majority of cafés in the entire Perth region. The rest could learn from this business model.
Nice little place to be able to go to for breakfast have to remind them to put honey in my coffee as so many times they don't
Ordered coffee, jam and butter on toast and eggs on sourdough. The coffee was very good, the eggs on sourdough was good but over toasted, the jam and butter on toast was terrible, over toasted but mainly due to the jam being the cheap sugary style which really isn't right for a decent cafe.
Always a friendly happy smiley service. Cosy place and good brekky. Thanks

Great breakfasts and even better pizza. Wish pizza was on more nights other than Friday. Need that 4 cheese pizza fix more often!
Went to this Pizzeria for lunch. Was hoping for pizza, only to be told they only serve pizza in the evening. To add to the disappointment, the rest of the menu is more like a breakfast menu than a lunch menu.
(Changed to one star after the owner posted a rather sacastic reply: "May your first world problems cause you less stress and pain and disappointment. Keep up the good work")
A local gem. Great coffee and their online ordering is super handy.
A cafe that is consistently reliable and tasty, we have been customers for over a year now.
Really great seating, lovely staff, great location. The halloumi on house baked roll is incredible. Thanks guys! Also epic wood fired pizza + garlic bread on Friday nights, YUM!
This is easily my new favourite hidden little gem. Amazing coffee, tasty food and service always with a smile. Think I've been 3 times this week now, anyways consistent.
Great place for breakfast, lovely homely feel and has a kids section.

Lovely little place with friendly staff. No reservation possible but table are available quickly. Went there on a Friday night for wood fired pizza which was busy but impressively quick service.
Magharita and Mediterranean pizza as well as garlic bread were yum. 4 stars because of the foods temperature I like my pizza hot not luke, not sure why it got cold in the 2 m way from oven to my table.
2 pizza, 1 garlic bread, 1 red wine, 1 lemonade $65
Will give it another try.
Great coffee, delicious food, nice sitting areas inside and outside. Don't miss pizza night on Friday evening, the pizzas are great.
Lovely staff, though hashbrowns seemed refried (very hard and greasy) and dish served up with dill that was going off and turning yellow
Lovely little green boutique-y café which does a great bacon and egg roll, good coffee and excellent smoothies. Lovely staff just add to the experience.
