Karridale Tavern & Roadhouse

Best steak and chocolate Bavarian in the south west. Was presently surprised how gourmet the food was. Service was also of a high standard.

A nice pub, friendly staff. We waited a while for food and meal missing, however it was resolved quickly. Understandably they were busy and short staffed but they did their best and were apologetic. The meals were delicious and the service was excellent.

Absolutely worst meal I have ever paid for. Had pork ribs. So dry I could not get my fork through the meat. Wedges over cooked. Wife had asian surf and turf. So very unbelievable, dry, bland. Told the waitress, reply, chef is busy. I would never return. Bad bad and worse.

We had a terrible experience at lunchtime. We all ordered waited for two hours for our food. When we got it it was all cold. We were still waiting on a kids nuggets and chips and when we brought this up numerous times, we were told we had all our meals delivered. Rude staff cold food. Very disappointed. Do recommend!

Very disappointed with the steak sandwich and supreme pizza ordered. Over priced and poor quality.

It was very nice, great atmosphere. Pretty decent vegetarian options and all the food was pretty good. Four stars because the food wasn’t AMAZING but I would still come back. Not a very big desert menu though. Staff were pretty nice and there was lots of space and tables.

Food was really good and quick! Unfortunately some of the staff were very rude, unfriendly and made us feel stupid when we were to ask questions. Was very disappointing considering the food was lovely and service was quick. Will not be returning due to the staffs attitude.

Finally got down to Karridale to have some lunch at the Karridale Tavern after hearing many good things and it did not disappoint! Food was fantastic and the service was reasonably quick considering how busy it was at the time.

There is a great range of beer on tap including some local brews and great priced specials - $6 pints Mondays - $10 Coppers Jug Wednesdays etc. Defenitely going to return as its worth the 20 minute drive from Margaret River.

The good stuff
Nice atmosphere and some of the food like the pizza (seafood) and wedges were cooked beautifully in my opinion.

The bad stuff
Me and 2 others in my camping group ordered the special steak with chips and salad. 2 chose well done while i got medium rare. The chips were fine.but the steaks.were not.all three of our steaks had burnt and stiff surfaces and were described by one of the people having it as "made out of carbon". Seemed like they cooked the steaks on the cooking surface that is used for burger patties instead of a grill or a pan. Other steaks I have eating in other restaurants.heck.even the ones I cook myself did not make a tapping noise when lightly tapped.for me the inside was cooked medium rare while the outside.charcoal (mostly). I ate mines as I did not want to wait and to see what it is like while the other person asked for the steak to be remade (it was said that the manager was going to cook it). It came out the same to a refund was requested. For me it was sort of alright except for the burnt after taste that came with it.i should have asked for a refund. Waste of $45.

Food is great, we are very hungry too! The best part they open longer compared to other places nearby.

Wow. Everything that we had was amazing. I don't really do reviews but couldn't help myself. A must when you down here. Awesome way to end a great weekend.

Amazing food and fantastic service. People travelling to the Margaret River region must have this on their list to eat out at least once. My kids loved their porterhouse and rump steak. Guess what I loved their chicken parmi.

Just stopped in for lunch on the way to some wineries. Had some absolutely delicious burgers - I got the crispy chicken with coleslaw and pickle and my partner had the beef burger. Very fresh ingredients and so so tasty. The vege pickle in my burger was top notch. Decent prices too and friendly staff.

The fact that this place exists is testimony to the great food and atmosphere. Not sure why else you would be in Karridale?

The meal was excellent and the staff very friendly. I recommend this venue for good and friendly service

Dined in here for dinner tonight, steak was fine, cooked medium rear, a lot of thin small chips, 2 fried eggs were a little dry by time I was served my dinner. We asked for the Garlic bread to come when dinner is ready and got that earlier.
I had to eat my dinner because I was hungry and tired.
Staff were nice and friendly. I've given 3 stars because of disappointing delivery of my cooked meal, my garlic bread was cold when I received my plate. Otherwise it was okay there.

Great country pub nestled amongst the trees. Awesome food, friendly service, good coffee and well priced. We loved having lunch and a drink on the deck overlooking the beer garden. Highly recommend to stop in when staying at Hamelin Bay or Jarrahdene.

I'm not often impressed by Pub food but they managed to pull it off, more importantly the Beer and the service was spot on.

This venue is a sweet place to grab a meal, and has a large deck area that's dog friendly, and kept toasty warm with gas heating. Most of our meals came out at the same time, but two were brought out much later, and one of the orders was entirely wrong. The management handled the wrong order with swift professionalism. The meal sizes were large and full.
