Welcoming local pub. Good food, dog friendly and family friendly. Will return in the future.

My favourite pub in the south west. Diana is an absolute legend and makes the place so inviting and homely. Great food and drinks!

Dissatisfied with food, service and the atmosphere.
Took family into the tavern and encountered foul mouth individuals with absolutely no respect for other patrons and the staff accepted this?
The staff were more interested in catching up with gossip rather than serving customers, however one young man was brilliant.
Staff dress standards consisted of board shorts.sneakers and a baseball cap.

The garlic prawns are so good that you might forget your mother’s name after having them.

I had the fish and chips, added the fisherman’s bucket - consisting of prawns and fried squid, and that’s good too!

If you’re Asian and you miss Asian food, try the mee goreng. I heard the chef married a beautiful Indonesian and that explains the item on the menu.

Happened to travel along Cave Road visiting various galleries and caves. Stopped by Karridale and came in for a late lunch. Ordered a rump steak and a Karridale beer. Both were good quality. Sticky date dessert to finish off. The staff over the counter were very friendly and approachable. Enjoy the stopover. Would come again if in the area again.

It’s a nice little Tavern but unfortunately our groups experience was not great. The staff member taking the order looked thoroughly unimpressed at being there, lots of huffing and exasperation. She read back the order which was incorrect causing more huffing and eye rolling!

The ordered chicken burger didn’t arrive, instead it was beef ‍️ things happens but girl was very unpleasant.

The food was pretty greasy and a ridiculous amount of salt on the chips made them totally inedible.

Such a shame as it looked a great little stop with the kids play area out side and the undercover area.

The most expensive pint we've paid for anywhere around Australia. Unfortunately we think the oil that the fish may haven't been the best as we had upset stomachs that evening. I won't be returning next time we go past. Lunch and two drinks was over $75. Eeek.

Went here just last weekend, and my experience was rather bad. My partner and I were asked to relocate to the seats near the bathroom, which stunk. I was most definitely not going to sit there. The owner said said to me, "You can do what you want if you own your own restaurant after I said I'm not sitting near the toilet. The restaurant was half empty, so there no excuse to make us move, I understand if they are fully booked out. Had a talk to a couple of other tables, and they were very disappointed with the service beside the food. Food was rather good and very fast to come out. My partner ordered a well-done steak, and she received a rare steak. The owner was constantly touching customers and putting his arm around them, which is so rude, and some of the people were not happy by their facial expressions. Nice wee spot, but if you are looking for a close second to Karen's Diner, come here.

All meals are fantastic, large size and great value for money. Very friendly atmosphere and extremely quick service.

Unfortunately shark is offered here, which is an absolute no-go these days! Please inform yourself about sharks and their important role in the ecosystem before you order them.

As an outsider unfamiliar with country pubs, I loved this place. It was very welcoming with a strong family vibe. The place seemed to bring people together, whether that be locals or aliens like myself.

The tavern hosted a great range of beers, both local and international, as well as food options from all over the world. This food was very delicious. Service was above expectations, and the takeaway boxes came in clutch. 5 stars!

Never get so serious diarrhea in my life. Sorry but something with the meat was wrong. I have diarrhea since ower two days.

Went there for a beer with some mates while I was staying at Molly Caravan Park. Beer was nice and cold. We got there for happy hour so the beers were also cheap. I think it was $8 pint. My mate got a pizza that he didn't share with us but it looked good and must have been good as he ate the whole thing. He said he couldn't believe he ate a whole one. I believe it was because it was nice. We all had a punt on the TAB machines and a game of pool. So all in all it was a good time. Next time I go I will check out there food

Fish and chips is 5-star; would order their fish solely if I could (ordered it with little salt). Satay Chicken Pizza is tasty too. Great service. Great vibe.

Food was quality and portions were huge. The biggest parmigiana I've ever seen served. Great atmosphere

The staff where so sweet and accommodating! So happy to see mocktails on the menu! Food was great too! We will be back!

Hsd been covid struck, so pizza only sat night, hoping to get menu back monday.

Staff was rude, blonde women making us feel so stupid when you ask questions, asked for some ice for a drink and they ask what for? , shouldn’t have to justify that I want a cold drink. Chips where nothing special - had better at a fish and chip shop. Salt and pepper squid was soggy and tasted like cheap pacific west frozen S+P squid

Last visit awesome just went back and it's rubbish 46 dollar surf and turf.fatty and had sinew salad not like last time sauce was water

Changed hands since our previous and fish and chips much improved and proper tasting this time around. Good service and busy but still a pleasant experience on the the covered verandah out the back. I can recommend this place as a good stopover to and from Augusta and Hamlin Bay
