What a great place, excellent service and great tasting food and coffee. Highly recommend the breaky Vetkoek - yum!

This place is a hidden gem, fantastic coffee and South African style food. Set in a small complex just off Wanneroo rd it looks quite plain from road but step inside and you find an ecleptic well thought out venue staffed by wonderful friendly people. My favorite breakfast dish is the Banting stack, I should try more of the menu but I can't move past that at the moment.

I have and will continue to recommend this place to my work mates. Great for work luncheons or breakfasts. The lemon margarine pie is to die for! And the Red Tea cappuccino (whatever its officially called I can never get the name right) is delightful!

This is not my first visit, but my first comment. Why do I go back there? Yes I am from South Africa and they make traditional SA food, but there is more. Easy to access, enough parking. The best is the atmosphere and food. The inside is not like a typical restaurant, it's more warm like a big farm kitchen, tables but also coffee tables and couches. I love the laid-back atmosfeer, that's relaxing. The service is good and friendly.

Seuna plays golf and he is very good, Seuna and pappa is net de beste

First time here. Food was amazing. Tasty, robust, flavourful. Tastes I haven’t had before. Highly recommend. The guy serving came over and talked us through the menu. Really nice man.

First time trying today, and oh my god have i been missing out!
I got the Perri Perri chicken burger/sandwich and chips and 2 drinks, and i have never ever ever had such a flavour attack go on in my mouth before!
The flavour was out of this world! Absolute pure perfection! The bread ohhhhh wow!
I know where I'll be spending my nights now! Thank you guys xx

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Kalahari Wanneroo. It felt like home to me. Excellent breakfast, great coffee, and the toast was home made bread.

Great service and lovely, homely feel. The variety of timber furniture and displayed vintage artifacts provides a warm interesting atmosphere.

The staff were so helpful in describing the food to us and helping to go through the menu. No wonder this place has such good the reviews. The food was fantastic too.

Nice and relaxed atmosphere. The 'spicy lamb curry' vetkoek is great. Groceries are expensive here - there are cheaper alternatives in Perth but the food and coffee is worth 5 stars.

Had a mug of flat white there, and it has to be just about the best cup of coffee I've had in the Perth area. Highly recommended.

To taste the food here is well worth the trip and the vetkoek options are really exceptional. The owners have really made this cafe into a fantastic place to take friends and family to taste real South African homemade food in pleasent surroundings.
