Kailis Fish Market Cafe reviews
68Had awesome fish and chips today and my granddaughter wanted an ice cream so over we went, can’t complain about the service cos there was none, saw a girl serving at the bar and she saw me, thought she would come over after she had served her customer but instead a guy walked over to the bar and she served him. After 5 minutes of standing there looking stupid we left to go to the other place and saw a woman go to the ice cream counter and guess what, waited about 40 seconds and was served by the girl at the bar!
Awesome atmosphere, service not that slow, waited for around 20mins for our food which is good.
Have to order the grilled one separately from the fried ones as they are in separate kitchen. No dessert to choose from which is fine (oh, sorry, they have variety of ice cream), we're always full from the food being served anyway. (Big serves) happy tummy.
They have alcoholic drinks on tap and sodas from the fridge. No fancy drinks.we enjoyed the grilled one, healthier choice and so fresh.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Wide choice of food items with a full bar. On the wharf overlooking the fishing boats.
Great location by the water with plenty seating inside and out. Great seafood with a good selection of beer and wine.
It's my first time at this place, but I fell in love with it. Eating in this place and environment will definitely become a page in my life.
Pretty pricey for fish and chips, paying for location. Can't say they were great. Chips overcooked, salad mostly lettuce. The girl at the register needed better training.
Special thanks to
Brian & his team!
Outstanding quality
& Service. Thanks Kailis!

We will see you all
Soon!
Amazing we accidentally stumbled upon this historical site. The food was so fresh and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend a visit to the Fremantle precinct.
Historically there are a very large Italian diaspora here, they go all the way back to the 1800's
Food was great. Service was great. Tasmanian oysters, freshly shucked, were delicious. Pity so expensive.
Enjoyed the fresh oysters, tiger and king prawns. And especially the chilli mussel. The service was friendly and helpful. The location is nice and coastal. The wine list was quite varied. It was a great place for the family.
Amazing service! Really thoughtful and respectful staff, specifically a gentleman working foh on 26/10 - he made my day
Absolutely great seafood restaurant, fair price, fresh, easy to park!
經典炸魚薯條,自從改裝之後推出了炙烤系列,不喜歡太油膩的可以點烤魚烤花枝!
The seafood chowder is too salty.kind of heart attack salty. The white bite is too small, 2 nd visit. Not that satisfied, probably should focus on fish/chips only next time.
The deep fried fish wing is superb, fresh and tasty. Juicy grilled snapper.
Highly recommend.
The chilli mussells were the worst i have ever had. Basically what they did was put pasata sauce in a bowl and put boiled mussells on top and garnished with chilli flakes. Take some pride in your work.
We had the 'higher end' grilled fish and 'cheaper end' which is the crumbed fish and chips. (Quoting the staff who served us)
The verdict? Defo worth paying extra for the 'higher end' which is located on the left side of the cafe where all the lobsters, oysters, tiger prawns are located.
Food was average. The fish fillet with the fish and chips was very small. Not much of a choice on the menu. I expected more from Kailis
Nice fish served with terrible, flavourless, overcooked, dry chips. It was $7 for two portions of ketchup, which seems excessive, and only just made the chips edible.
The mens toilets were pretty filthy at 5pm, last serviced at 11: 30am according to the sign.
Overall a disappointing experience and very expensive for fish and chips.
Sorry but this was not a great experience.
I received a girls small palm size peice of grilled snapper $24.50, a side salad extra $4.50. Whilst very tasty the portion size for the price was appalling. Venue very loud & noisy and City of Freo does not help by also charging ticket parking in resturant carparks. #feltrippedoff.
Fresh and absolutely delicious seafood, good choice of wines, professional and nice staff, highly recommend! We will definitely come back
