Kaffeine Cafe reviews
62Great spot and good menu options. Unfortunately there always seems to be an issue getting the order (s) right (dine in or takeaway). Coffee orders take an extended amount of time whether you are dining in or takeaway.
I Stood at the counter to be served. Was ignored while others were served. In the end a kind person pointed to me to be served. The girl behind the counter hesitated and smirked, rolled her eyes at the person. I told her I was actually the first person in the cue. She smirked again and really childishly dropped the table number infront of me. Very rude and unnecessary I would not have a person like this representing my business. I will not return to this cafe.
Full brekky. Thé chipolatas were nearly carbonised, the poached eggs, the beans and bacon were perfect. Their toasted bread were too hard and needed a lot of chewing
I believe there are new owners? Appalling wait times for coffee - half hour for a 1x takeaway! And this has happened consecutive weeks. Appears to be no system in place with orders totally out of order timing wise and staff overrun. Multiple people following up on coffee or food orders - orders totally missed - app not working. Something has to change!
Delicious food with an excellent customer service. Especially Sagar and Amit were fantastic. Well done guys.keep it up. We will be keep coming for delicious food. Highly recommended
Absolutely amazing Cafe, worth visits every time we go. Great service by Sagar and other staff.
The chi latte taste like watered milk, bad watered milk. Breakfast wraps the bacon is like rubber.
I've been coming here for coffee since becoming a local to the area 18 months ago. Today I sat down for a dine in coffee for the first time ever with my husband, a plate with a few biscuits arrived with the coffee and although a bit confused we assumed it may have been complimentary biscuits that came with coffee, something that isn't unusual with some cafes/coffee places. A staff member approached us a few minutes later, and in a very condescending way told us we should have used common courtesy and not accepted something we didn't order and that they "wouldn't make us pay for it this time". If we had been given a plate of food, or a muffin, or even a something slightly more gourmet than a couple of biscuits of course we would not have taken it. It was totally unnecessary over a couple of biscuits, that could have easily been mistaken for something complimentary. I'm so incredibly disappointed in the way we were spoken to, sadly I'll have to find a new regular coffee shop.
The venue is applying a surcharge to debit card (cash) transactions. In my view bank charges are a cost of doing business. I won’t be returning
First visit- Nice coffee & yummy Scones with Jam & Cream. Menu looks exciting but not all items are shown on the app & somewhat pricey. Good cabinet display of cakes & food. Unfortunately though as this is the only Cafe In the area they certainly have the monopoly of people which makes this place very busy & enduring long wait times.
2nd visit- longer wait times, but this time they didn't deliver to our table, they sent me a msg via the app to say my order was ready, I approached the counter & Unfortunately they couldn't find my order which was later found sitting on top of one of the machines whilst I was waiting again to have my order remade & cooked, the whole experience was handled quite poorly & no real apology, she even tried to hand the original order to me which I wasn't happy about because it was no longer hot, up to me she said.
3rd & final visit- Decided to give them one more go as this place is in a convenient location for me but we left after our coffees & didn't order breakfast as planned due to the Atmosphere being loud & uncomfortable, too many noisy kids, one walking on the table, 2 crying on the floor & others playing hide n seek, their parents were just chatting away while their kids did as they pleased.
Upon leaving we noticed a man Feeding his dog from the Cafe's plate he placed on the ground.
Mostly Retirees, Parents & kids eat here I noticed.
Outdoor shaded dining area but unfortunately too cold to sit outside.
I go mostly for the scones and tea. I would say it’s probably one of the best scones I’ve had and I’ve had plenty.
We come here often & the food & service are always fantastic, absolutely love the breakfast wrap! Staff are friendly & efficient:)
Stopped in for a coffee and something to eat and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the burgers at such a small cafe. Was better than what you get at some restaurants. Definitely worth visiting here.
Very friendly cafe with great food. The big brekky lives up to its name so be careful. But overall a great spot for a feed.
Great place whether just having coffee and some of their delicious sweet treats or a snack or full blown food. Staff are great, food is fresh and great buzz
Very disappointing for a number of reasons.we have tried this place a couple of times ordering flat whites and Mochas, unfortunately both tasted bitter and “watery”
On top of that it is very expensive, over $6 for a regular size plus they charge a surcharge for using a credit card! Shameful, given that tap and pay is the preferred way to pay in the current covid situation.
As this is the only cafe in the Gwelup area they really have the monopoly, and are abusing that.
If you’re getting a takeaway, I would highly recommend walking a touch further and getting one from the Ampol/Foodary petrol station, which are actually really good! And you won’t feel ripped off.
Great little cafe with an excellent choice of food and drinks. The staff are always very helpful and nice to deal with. One of the few places in Perth that can still make a real milkshake.
Quite expensive and utilising bad business practice of bank card surcharges like a marketplace in a 3rd world country
Their big breakfast has saved my life a few times when hung over, very tasty and is actually big enough to split between 2 people (we just get extra bacon and extra hash browns).
We order on Uber Eats and it still arrives pretty warm and fresh. Good iced lattes. GREAT banana bread
Great range of freshly-made food & coffee with excellent, prompt service. The nearby oldies love it too.
