VERY BAD ordered Tandoori Chicken got home they gave something else and rang them about it they said they did not have any Tandoori chicken so gave me some rubbish replacement. The my order of chicken vindaloo was given another curry without telling me horrible tika chicken curry. Rang them why did they do this and said they choose another item for us as they ran out of what we ordered. When I went back he asked me to take my mask off to see my face as I complained about this. Making me feel like it was my fault. Very bad man who is the chef and owner. This is just unacceptable.

Best biryani I've had in so long. Perfectly spiced, catering to the Indian taste rather than European. Thank you.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times. Nice food but appalling service. My husband picked up an order of c
hicken byriani this evening but it certainly was not byriani as per their menu pictures and my usual byriani meals. What we got was wet slop with no byriani flavour, it was Tika masala mixed with rice. When I complained I was told byriani can be wet (not what was pictured in their menu). I am married to an Indian therefore all my In-laws are from India. What I objected to was the arrogant attitude and argumentative nature eventually resulting in the phone being put down on me. I know Indian food, give it a miss if you want authentic Indian food.

Had the Meat Thali for dinner - WOW. SO DELICIOUS, such variety, seems family owned and operated. They have gluten free options for people like my Grandma, they have a bar, a dance floor with lights and a damn disco ball. To the blokes who served us today - remember, SOA CAH TOA!

We accidentally ended up finding this place and it turned out to be a gem. The portion size is really great and they have some authentic South Indian dishes and dosas were good.

The food was extremely delightful. Really good tasty Indian food. It's a family run restaurant. While the food & portion is good & big, you have to be prepared to wait as they don't have much staff.

The best fish curry I have ever had. All the food ordered was delicious. The restaurant is fresh and clean with ample parking at the rear.
The dishes are made fresh and with authenticity (mild, medium or hot).
Just go, it's a fabulous place for a real curry.

Exeptional

This is the greatest place in joondlaup for food hands down
The service from the young boy Kabalason is just so kind and warming to my heart. The butter chicken and the chicken tikka masalia are my personal favs. The food was a perfect blend of tenderness, love and compassoin, topped off with the beautiful scenery of the indian restaurant.

If you are looking for the best food in town, than come to Kabalason, you wont regret it.

Food is good but you guys really need to change the dosa prices. The masala dosa is $17 and the plain dosa is $17. Is this reasonable at all?

Good customer service and great food. It's hard to find good Indian food and it seems this place is a good one to try. The food we bought didn't have the oily feel you usually get from food so that was good. We ordered dosas and bhatura with Chana. All of it was good. Standard pricing as other restaurants.

Customer service was below average. They made me pay by card because they didn’t have change. I ordered butter chicken and it was like licking a salt cube. Ridiculously priced for below average food and service.

I'm a big fan of Kabalason's food, and have been coming here for the last ten years. I don't think I can remember having a bad main course here - the mains are beautifully flavoured, the rice is exceptional, and the naans are as naans should be - absolutely delicious. I must admit I'm glad that the buffet has stopped (it is still being run for parties etc) as I think the food cooked fresh is the only way to go.
I will say that I think that quite often the service is not the best, but for me, the quality and the taste of the food has outshone that small deficiency.
I highly recommend the Thali - comes with lots of different food, their delicious rice and Naan. The Thali is only available if you eat in - it's too much faffing about for them to do it as a takeaway.

One of the best in town and my favourite for many many years!
The curries are so tasty, you can just eat the gravy with a big pile of chapatis! One of those shops where the curries really do taste different to one another. Also makes an excellent dosa.
Really recommend the dinner specials, a serve of curry, rice, naan and papads enough for two. One of the better deals around town.
His naans and rotis are superb, rolled fresh and done in the tandoori as you order.
Still my "go-to" shop for Indian food after all these years!
