From the first enquiry about my Volkswagen Amarok until the final purchase Josh always treated me with great respect. As a single woman navigating the used car market my experience is often of being ignored in the yard or dismissed. Josh was patient while I decided on a few cars from different yards. Best service by far, did 3 days around car yards and some sales agents don’t even come out of their littles boxes. Always bought cars at another Hyundai dealer closer to home. Won’t be again, Des was so helpful, I love my car, delivery was perfect and on time and they filled the tank.

Have nothing but praise for the service team in Welshpool as my car needed looking at for a gearbox problem and they got me in straight away. Had to bring it back the next day as fault back again and same thing booked in straight away and they sorted it. Couldn't be happier the excellent service and friendly staff.

They have repeatedly failed to follow through on contacting me back and failed to provide me adequate information to actually pay for the car I want.

Full circle with John Hughes! Today our grandson took ownership of his first car. Almost 10 years ago, after the tragic death of his mother, we sought the help of John Hughes himself regarding the car that she had bought from him. It was parked in our driveway and was a constant sad reminder to our then 6 year old boy. There were some issues with insurance but as soon as we explained things to John he made arrangements to collect the car straight away, sort things out with the insurer and to send us a fair price for the vehicle. He went over and above for us at the worst time possible. Now, as the time approaches for her young man to start driving we visited the John Hughes group again. This time we dealt with a very lovely man, Matt Hill. He was across what we needed, there was no pressure, he took us for a drive answered all of our questions and was so easy to deal with. Such a well mannered man who exemplifies the values of this well respected company. We also spoke with the man in warranties (I believe it was Mike), he too went over an above for us. No hard sell, just sensible advice. Thank you all. Today was an awesome day for our boy. The smile on his face said it all. I can thoroughly recommend this place if you are looking for a car and if it is a used car make sure you ask for Matt Hill. He is delightful to deal with.

I upgraded to an i30 with John in 2018. My Dad loved it so much I ended up swapping cars and I got another i30 last week (Amazon Grey - niiiiice!) and my partner and I also got our new Tuscon a couple of months ago. Always through John - this time round thanks Sebastian (best coffee maker!) and Andrew S for sorting it all our for me - 100% happy!
