John Cole's Nursery Banjup reviews
55I had a lovely experience at John Coles nursery this weekend. Seeked advice from 3 different staff as I went back and forth over the weekend. Its been a long time since I have experienced 3 amazing and helpful staff in one place. A special mention to the owner Jill and Bernadine. I didnt get the other ladies name. Also great prices. One example was only $10 for Agapanthus. Saw same plant at another nursery same day for $17. Thank you again. I will be back.
No staff to assist but large variety of flowers, plants and garden needs.prices are ok.need some young blood as lady on register looks like she's had enough.
Well this used to be my go to for pots as the range and prices were amazing. Went back here on Saturday and noticed that they dont have the range they used to and the prices have gone up quite significantly. Such a shame as I used to love this place.
Large nursery with half being pots, large and small and other half is plants.
Older lady there very helpful and provided us with few different suggestions.
Prices are fairly reasonable.
There is also a cafe where you can sit down or can have takeaway coffee/ tea or cold drinks.
Spent a fortune on plants at this nursery and my wife was wishing to get advice from them. Phoned up and the same "mature lady" was very rude and unhelpful. Wife wishes to talk to another staff member and then hears them whispering about her, then denials about the persons behaviour. From reading other reviews it appears that this is an ongoing issue with customer service at this shop and all customers should be advised to go elsewhere.
Large, healthy variety of plants, trees and shrubs. Great gardening advice. A little on the expensive side.
Called the store after seeing a few photos of David Austin roses on there. The woman was so rude. When she said we don’t sell them. I queried that the website shows photos of DA roses “Well I don’t know how your reading the website”was her response. Please see attached. Staff should know th3 website
If you want Camelias and learn how to look after them well this is the place to go. Staff took the time to give you all the help and information needed. Thank you to the lovely lady who helped us on Saturday morning
I recently made the hour's drive to John Cole's with the hope of making a considerable purchase. Seeking assistance from the mature lady at the front desk (whom I later came to understand was likely the owner) was one of the rudest, most hostile, and least helpful "customer service" experiences I've ever had. I will not be returning, will encourage those I know to likewise steer clear, and suggest others take their business to the many alternative nurseries whose staff understand the concept of customer service.
Great selection of indoor and outdoor pots, flowers, trees, etc.friendly, relaxed staff just add to the stress free experience
Hi Gps map on phone sent us past it, Its not a easy place to spot as it has trees camouflaging the entrance. It was worth the goose chase. The service was fantastic and what a variety of plants they have got and reasonably priced. They also have a little cafe for a cuppa and eats and a toilet facility. My Mum loved the variety of Azaleas.
This nursery deserves less that 1 star for customer service. We have spent good money with them in the past and on this occasion asked them to hold 3 plants for a day. I wanted to confirm with my landscaper that they were the correct ones. The older mature lady was reluctant to hold them and was rude. She lacks considerable customer service I feel she needs to be educated in how to speak and deal with customers. She says she is the owner of the business Mrs Coles - well I can only say that at this rate she won't have a lot of clients. The nursery was poorly stocked and not busy either. Very disappointed and certainly will not be buying any plants from them. I do not recommend anyone to go to this nursery.
Mrs Cole was extremely rude this morning
Doubt whether I'll be going there again.
No thanks, just down right rude.
Credit to the lovely young lady serving coffees, (sorry we didn't stay for that, since we couldn't wait to get out) and the lady who brought the bag of potting mix to our car.
They were low on stock but still had a great variety. Everything we bought was very healthy.
Absolutely love my Lime Splice bushes I got from here, they are absolutely stunning and were only $10 each!
Staff were so friendly and helpful, can't wait to come back again?
Very quiet and pleasant surroundings in the cafe. But dont order the scones. They are neuked. Which turns them to rubber balls then rocks when they cool. Also neuked a sausage roll so long it was steaming. Waitress knew it was for a child and delivered it straight to him. Well saved nana. My friend did enjoy her toastie.
Very good for all manner of plants.and you can get a nice cream tea when you have finished shopping
Not too busy. Plenty of friendly willing staff to help load car with big pot & potting mix. Impulse buy! And restricted with a fractured foot. I will go again.
Im wondering if the ppl on here that gave this nursery a 5 star rating were at the same nursery I have just returned from. This nursery is a joke. No variety, more planters than plants, very dirty, toilets were disgusting, overpriced. Myself and another couple were just left shaking our heads in disbelief. You even have to pay $1 to feed the fish ffs!
Seriously don't waste your time or petrol. I ended up at Garden World and then Wattle Grove Nursery. These are only 10 mins from John Coles, I got what I wanted, cleaner, nicer, more variety.
Nice place! They have a terrific collection of good and healthy looking plants. Staff are also very pleasant and very accomodating to present advice!
Massive nursery with more pots than you can imagine. There's even a nice cafe, and the place is surrounded by big beautiful trees.
