John Cole's Nursery Banjup

Abysmal customer service. Would rate lower if I could. Tried to call and arrange to buy some roses for a client I'm designing a garden for. The lady who answered seemed almost offended that I was trying to buy anything and hung up on me. Taking my business and my clients elsewhere.

Went to Beenjup from Midland for roses that John Cole's Web site show in abundance. Apparently this is just a guide as they had a couple of overgrown unkempt roses in the back corner and were expecting a delivery some time soon? The whole place is run down and untidy and unless you want a pot, an azalea or a camellia it's a waste of time going there. One young lady who works there didnt even know where the roses were. The aged lady at register looked like she'd rather eat the customers than befriend them. It all was very disappointing. On way home we called into Dawson Nursery in Forrestfield, what a difference. Clean, tidy, friendly and helpful and sooo many roses we had trouble choosing. Bought 2 and will definitely be back for more. If I could I'd give John Coles NO stars and Dawsons 5. Will be letting friends and family know where not to go also.

NO STARS! To be honest, I don’t know how John Coles are still in business. There is absolutely no customer service, the owner and staff are extremely rude, mannerless and possess NO people skills. I will never return. I will be telling my friends and family to shop elsewhere. NO STARS FROM THIS EX-CUSTOMER!

This place is great but is absolutely ruined by the rude lady at the front counter. I will never come back here again because of how appalling the service was and how rude and unhelpful the lady was

Wouldn't even give this place a star. The owner is the rudest person I’ve ever met, avoid this place at all costs.

Just FYI, if attending this place they DO NOT allow dogs in, i did not see the sign, ok thats their choice, but the owner (old woman there) is very rude about it, (seems thats her normal demenour, reading other comments). Such a shame as this place could be magic with the right owners.

Great plants great prices but omg the old woman on the till is bitter and aggressive banging her fist on the counter at me. I don’t care who she thinks she is she needs to get back in her kennel. She certainly should not be allowed out in the world with us human people

Awesome nursery all plants were lush and super healthy looking. Very reasonably priced and lots and lots of lovely plants to choose from.
Heaps of well priced pots too. Will definitely be back.

Great selection of azalias. Fairly priced as well. Closed a fraction early but it was a quiet Sunday so cannot blame them. It's tidy clean and well presented. I would definitely return here for more plants. This isn't a seedlings and pretty dainty flowers kind of nursery. Know what you're after and it'll serve you perfect.

We went in to purchase some plants, unfortunately not seeing the (no dogs allowed) sign we walked though to the back with our pup on lead. I approached the lady wanting to ask whether they had stock, to my shock I was yelled at by her, how I got in with my dog this is not bunnings and maybe I should go to bunnings. I apologised for not seeing the sign and headed back out all the way she was mouthing off how some people think this is bunnings. When my husband who was on her side of the nursary asked her if theres a problem she again started mouthing off right to the reception. There was no need for her to go off the way she did. Customer service is non existent there, and we will never ever return even if it is our local nursary and we believe in supporting local and will never recommend anyone to go there.
I am truely appalled that someone like that may deal with clients.

Came a long way and like others here had an unfortunate interaction with the owner, who was morose and rude and, amongst other things, remarked that they were tired of and had run out of patience with people. I've worked retail and I know how it can be, but as this looks to be a pattern, I would suggest they consider selling to someone who wasn't so resentful at the thought of dealing with the public. The store has seen better days, and I guess this reflects on the proprietor too.

I regret going ahead and finalizing my purchase here as there were other well rated nurseries nearby that also had what I wanted.

The old mature lady at the counter was extremely blunt and rude. Don't support business like this.

Drove for an hour to get to this beautiful nursery. I couldn't find what I was looking for spoke to a lady at the counter and she was very blunt and rude. Walked away thinking I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Only place close to me that sells the native Finger Limes, Red AND Green. All their plants are vibrant and green. Well looked after. Loved their pot assortment too. Bought x2 that lookwd like all the colours of a Paua shell.
Easy access to all areas.

I have a special love for this place. Sometimes I come down just to look a the Camelia. Friendly staff, amazing selection.great price. The pots are out of this world!

I quite enjoyed my time here, i loved the cafe and the variety of products they have to offer, the gardens surrounded by a long, glass wall is quite beautiful to look at indeed.

Lovely healthy plants, priced well. One star off because the coffee, though very nice, is served in a very small, thick cup, and is dearer than anywhere else.

Love the range of pots (colour, size, design, shape, price) and a selection of beautiful plants. Just couldn’t resist bringing some home today! (actually lots!)

Such a great nursery. Very healthy plants at wholesale prices. Amazing range of pots of all shapes and sizes and the coffee shop is the perfect place to relax with a coffee and something to eat.

Drove over 100km to buy a piece of artwork they had on display only to be to told they would have to get a ladder to get it down from the wall and they didn't have anyone to get it. I was told to pay for it ($350) and pick it up during the week. I saw their gardeners/staff wandering around moving large pots though. A lot if people work during the week so use the weekend to go shopping. They lost a sale and I won't be going back! Poor customer service!
