I Love Crepes & more reviews
38Finding good crepes in Perth is surprisingly hard, so I was pretty excited to see this place in a familiar spot. Service was good, my savoury crepe was delicious and just the right portion size.
Went there for desert on Christmas day. Looked so dodgy as everything else was closed. But.amazing crepes!
I just wish I knew the "bueno" is just nutella. So I didn't add nutella to my nutella and strawberry crepe
Loved the variety of crepes available. Found the menu really helpful with popular items clearly indicated. Impressed with the warm and friendly service. The extended family had a good time bonding and sharing crepes in the comfy cafe setting.
This a gem… great food and service.found this place while driving around the area on a Sunday arvo.all coffee shops closed.and this place offered great coffee and delicious food! We had the traditional strawberry banana Nutella crepe, ice cream on top and coffee.perfect
Super cute cafe! Love the decor, music is perfect volume that you can hear it but doesn't overpower conversation. Crepes are made with love, rich flavours. Really pay good money for good quality. Absolutely recommend.
We had three crepes on the night and ice-cream.
1. Salmon & Spinach:
It was really nice, the crepe and cheese were wonderful. A little on the salty side as smoked salmon tends to be quite salty already and there was additional salt which perhaps is not required.
2. Chicken & Mushroom:
Crepe, cheese, mushroom were excellent, chicken could perhaps use some spices.
3. Apple pie, butter & cinnamon:
This one, was not as great as the savoury crepes we had.
There was no butter taste and the sauce drizzled on top, to put it politely was not particularly pleasant (tasted a bit like cough syrup).
4. The ice-creams (Viet coffee, Peanut-butter fudge) were very good
Overall,
Enjoyed the experience, the atmosphere/music inside and majority of the food. However, it did seem rather quite when we went.
Few improvements/suggestions to take on board
1. The cutlery set for dine in could be metal and the plates glass? The cutlery did say recyclable but it felt a bit odd dining in on a styrofoam? Plate and non-reusable cutlery. 100% believe regular re-usable cutlery is required and explanation from the staff that the cutlery as an example is environmentally friendly.
2. The staff on the night were two girls
One was very shy
The other looked quite unhappy.
Both could improve their service and hospitality by being more welcoming and engaging.
3. Social media presence in this day and age is vitally important, posts/specials/gimmicks are required daily/weekly to keep new customers interested and build up a loyal customer base.
I do hope this place continues to grow and some of the suggestions are taken onboard. We will be back regardless for some of the savoury crepes.
Best wishes,
Dom & Tammie
A nice variety of sweet crepes to choose from, we had strawberries with cream (it was simply divine!) we will definitely be bck to try their other crepes.there's gluten free savoury option too.
Odd location but nice concept. Counter girl was clueless with gluten free but thankfully the chef was in the know. Service was on the slow side. Nutella needed to be microwaved to stop it being so dry and gluggy on the crepe. Will try a different flavour next time
Wonderful new desert locale run by a local family. French buckwheat style crepes.
I was lucky enough to preview some of the fare just as we rolled into lockdown, but it also meant that I was given the rare opportunity to speak to the owners Vejsil and Sandra.
Their focus is on bringing true French-style crepes and belgian waffles to the neighbourhood, both sweet and savory. A passion project of Vejsil which he's honed for 4y prior in Adelaide.
And it shows. Delectable carefully sourced local fresh ingredients gloriously sing with European cream and butter, and of course, all wrapped in perfectly formed crepe that's neither too thin nor too pankcake like.
As their first customer, I was also treated to a preview of their uniquely sourced coffee from Burma with beans from the "Flower City" of Pyn oo lwin.
Look forward to trying their savory selection when lockdown's lifted! Can't wait.
Best crepes ever! My favorite cafe with best ice cream and best crepes and coffee. Yammy. Delicious.
Handmade Savoury Crepe with full of fresh ingredients must try Crepes Cafe and Yummy Gelato. Green Tea Ice-cream always my favourite one for dessert
Crepes are delicious and I'm a sucker for Nutella! Haven't tasted crepes this great in a long time so happy this is close to home! Great service and generous portions! Sweet & Savoury menu available. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who is craving for a satisfying dessert or just need a crepe fix
Great service and delicious crepes, I had the Strawberry, raw sugar and lemon, I also added cream and it was amazing. Will definitely be back
Nutella and Banana slaps big time, I've been to Paris so you can trust me when I say this. Will be back.
The food here was beyond excellent, it was very good, but the staff have to work on a few things. Firstly, cooking speed. I understand the fact there is only one chef and one hot plate, but the time taken to cook is rather slow. Waited about 30 mins for a single crepe. However, the crepe was excellent, and was worth every second of the boredom. Secondly, the cleaning. Everything was really clean, without a spot of dirt on lots of surfaces, but when I was waiting I saw a table there, still with scraps on it. But this wasn’t there for five minutes. Not even 10. That table was there for around 15-20 minutes uncleaned. I know, and acknowledge the fact there is few employees, but you should probably work on that. The presentation is very good, attached to this review is an image of a crepe purchased here. Also, I could taste every element in the crepe. I could taste the butter, the apple, and just about everything inside this crepe. Overall, if you want to come here, come during school hours or working hours, as there will be less people and less wait time. Very good, keep up the tasty creations!
What a great place! Most tasteful crepes I’ve had in a long time. Customer service is excellent and the staff are so friendly everytime.
Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff, savoury crepes are not as soft as ud think they should be but taste great. Loads of flavours to choose from. Large size too.
Just ordered a banana, walnut & honey crepe through Uber Eats and also a dirty chai.
The crepe was absolutely delicious and the chai was very tasty and hot. Everything was well packaged. Very yummy and great quality.
