Hyatt Regency Perth

One of my go-to hotels when visiting WA. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Depending on which side of the hotel your room is located there are great views of the lake. Reasonable priced onsite parking, or metered parking (free between 6pm and 8am)
Short walk to restaurants, bars and convenience stores.

Probably had better days in the past! Hotel seem be be dated, cracked/stained driveway, cracked tiles in the bathrooms and lot of trainee staff!
I was given a room facing a wall and when I inquired if the room could be changed the rude front desk staff certainly made me dont want to visit any Hyatt properties in the future considering there are lot of other hotel option in town.
Lack attention to details such as torn carpets in the gym cob webs in corridors and rooms.
Considering price was relatively cheap I guess you get what you pay for!

Always feel a bit dissapointed & ripped off with a buffet meal & tonight was no different.
Fairly ordinary fare including Seafood.
For $65 p/p plus wine surely more satisfying to enjoy a couple of courses off a good a la carte menu.

GOOD Location. Walking distance to ferries and City centre plus the Mint.
BAD maintenance with issues like tennis court closed, pool drains in and out snapped and broken. LED lights out. Access control issues. Stain needed on damaged edges or trims. Damaged power point. Etc
GOOD breakfast buffet you must have, cafe / Resturant is so good. For dinner $40 will give you buffet for meats veg etc. Add $20 for seafood etc. Child prices and eat all you can from all areas prices too. Chefs are the best.

GOOD very clean and is showing age but no need for renovations as workmanship and quality of materials used were great.

GOOD our rooms has baths. Maybe me tiles might be needed but Basin and Tyler look new.

GOOD comfortable beds and our rooms ARE very quiet. Not front Street facing. No magic views but not needed as sure you can go to the top level of needed.
BAD. Lift access control proxy reader doesn't beep when card accepted. Kneel down and you'll see a green flash in the rear.
GOOD Grande foyer with wow.

As staff so far met have been worthy

March 2019 I received excellent help and service. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The hotel porter staff were more than kind and helpful. All in all a really wonderful stay.

Our bathroom floor flooded from the drain in the floor when we emptied the bath and the TV want working on arrival

Stay here for a one night getaway, it was amazing. The food (dinner and breakfast) you could no complain it was cooked to perfection. The rooms where very clean and the staff were lovely

Rooms were great although roomy although we had drinks in the evening and had to wait over 45 mins for our drinks after reminding the bar staff then upon receiving our drinks my husband beer was spilt. We then had to wait for them to bring a replacement.

Fantastic experience.but 2 out of 10 for parking oops very time consuming to find parking took the shine off our stay other tban that cant fault the stay cant wait to book tbere again

Beautiful hotel greate service. Feel 5 start comfort. Excellent rooms with nice river view.
Very good restaurant delicious food and wonderful breakfast.

Great atmosphere is accentuated through highly trained staff and excellent facilities staff including a very large heated swimming pool, sauna, gym and the Hyatt regency club. If you are willing to pay a little more for your stay, the Hyatt regency club is a great choice as it allows you to have drinks and finger food from 6-8. Highly recommend!

Great service, delicious food and the staff couldn't have done a better job. A great way to celebrate Mum and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary.

Went to the Hyatt Regency for a friends daughters 18th birthday celebration / meal it was done as an all you can eat + drinks the food was great plenty of it and all very tasty drinks came as needed and even though staff had other tables and guests to look after they were really good with all our table of 16 plus were attentive to the Birthday girl highly recommend

Ate at the Cafe dinner buffet, seafood wasnt great but had good mains and desert. Staff were friendly enough but kids in the restaurant were quite noisy.

Nice hotel lobby. Reasonably priced drinks and snacks in the hotel lobby. The buffet here is very good too with a fantastic selection of foods. Particularly good dessert selection and presentation.

Why is your hotel cafe la strada closed today? I think of all your guests staying over xmas and paying a fortune who dont have full use of all the facilities!

Attended a corporate function, good was good atmosphere the venue was initiate end well attended by hotel staff.

Hotel is a bit run down, the club lounge is one of the worst I have seen for a 5 star hotel. The buffet breakfast is ok.

Had a function at the Hyatt Cafe, the lamb was beautiful but I wouldn't really say anything else really stood out to me. I think they should also put the tags up for the food so you know what you're eating. We also had to wait 30mins for our drink which wasnt made very well. Overall the staff were really helpful and friendly
