Hyatt Regency Perth reviews
51Excellent service. Rooms with a great view of the river. Reasonably priced parking and great food.
Avoid it totally right now as being renovated inside as well as surrounded by a construction site.definitely needs a reno!
First time to book this hotel and what can I say I had an amazing stay. Special mention to the receptionist Monica Shy for great hospitality and extramiles that you showed me. She is so lovely. Surely I will book again when Im in Perth:)
Listening to a pianist early afternoon, a quiet drink, good company it doesn't get much better than that.
Over the 12th June weekend, I attended the Philippine Independence Ball at Hyatt Regency Perth. I’ve not been here in a long while, and walking in, it dawned on me how much I have missed the grandness of this place!
The Philippine event at the Grand Ballroom was a success, with everyone enjoying the sumptuous buffet dinner and dessert service - very well organised on not 1 but 2 buffet stations, with 4 access rows, so that even with 400 guests, it went smoothly, with no unnecessary delay nor unglamourous crowding.
My friends and I booked a suite for an overnight stay and found everything immaculately presented. In the morning, we ordered a Big Breakfast, which again, did not disappoint!
All in all, a most pleasant weekend experience.
Currently staying here for quarantine, I have flown in from the UK!
Rooms are huge, beds are super comfy, and the staff are super friendly! Would highly recommend
Got to love this. My diet is meant to be, and Written on the bag and the label of the meal, high protien, low carb no gravy, no heavy sauce. No red meat. So they send me Beef curry and rice in a thick sauce. Really doing well arnt they. Acompanying that with a chick pea and sweet potato salad. No carbs in the rice or sweet potato or chick peas!
For 14 days here quarantine and the rooms were filthy, hair and mold etc, I mean that's not covid safe! How do they clean the room here? Just disinfectant spray and run out?
And what the hell has happened to bottled water? None provided and expected to drink filthy tap water. Come on. All that money you get surely you can add some water to that. Disappointed
To be upfront, I'm staying here due to hotel quarantine after a trip to France. The room is fine albeit a bit worn. Bed is quite comfortable. The bathroom walls and ceilings are covered in mould and the bath had a lot of hair on it when I arrived. Not ideal for a room that's meant to have undergone covid cleaning. Soundproofing is very bad. I can hear my neighbours going to the toilet as if it's right beside my head and there's a constant loud, slow rumbling sound that goes through the building which I can only assume is the elevator (and I'm quite a few rooms away from the elevator.) It's also the first hotel quarantine facility I've been in (and I've been in a LOT over the last 18 months) where they don't supply you water with every meal. The food has been quite good and tasty although always arrives barely luke warm (or warm if it's meant to be cold)
Couldn't love this place enough We stayed in Penthouse suite Was EXQUISITE Wonderful rooms Amazing service and staff Food is INCREDIBLE An absolute delight of a place to stay in
Staff have made our stay during quarantine very enjoyable, especially the chef who has gone above and beyond. Lack of fresh air has been difficult, however this is a universal problem for many. Thank you.
Don't bother trying to stay here, they will cancel your booking to accommodate for people quarantining with no chance of finding alternative accommodation for a long weekend.
Shame covid have restricted to room service main meals. And 30 per night for parking abit rich did find street parking it's free from 6pm to 8am. Quite nice place and suprizing quiet for room that faced main road.
This hotel is very dated, in the winter it is cold in the lobby, bar and atrium. Regency Club is a joke. This hotel is by far the worst Hyatt in the APJ region
It was a beautiful night we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our very special little family.
Fabulous for a weekend escape.
Try the Club room package to spoil yourself with pre dinner drinks and canapes included
Totally Awesome. Staff are extremely helpful. Clean and spacious. The Event we attended was so well executed. Beautiful.
Beautiful building inside. Rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean. Was quite impressed for the price, food was a bit pricey though. Will be back for sure.
I think the Hyatt hotel is getting old and pricy for what it is. Our room was small, grey boring nothing exciting. Room service was long. We waited 20min just to get 2 knive and folks.
Very nice. A bit dated and old. But overall good value for a 5 star (that's not really a 5 star) stay. No in room dining menu, had to call and ask. Cobwebs above door. NOT near CBD vs other options. Small bathroom. Nevertheless.a good stay. Great service. Interesting building. Nice bar and vibe in foyer. Cabs easy. Clean and good stay
