Tiny store, very crowded with stock, difficult to move about without touching others. Spindle stacks very messy making it difficult to look for particular item as well placed very close to other stacks.
Staff appear VERY busy & sound rushed when serving & answering questions. At times was difficult to distinguish who was staff & who was customer.

Huge range of unique costumes and Alt fashion! Staff are super friendly and lovely, they’ll always check if there’s more stock in their warehouse so don’t be afraid to ask! Love it here! Perth icon!

Amazing staff. Had a last minute emergency with my suit, with the only button on my suit falling off on the way to the ceremony. Even though we didn't come in to buy a costume they happily helped us straight away, with out giving a second though (even with the store being very busy). The next time I ever need a costume I'm sure to be coming back.

I have been purchasing from Hurly Burly for a while now, however I won't be back again. My sister got me a waist trainer late Friday afternoon as a present. She told the staff when purchasing that it isn't for her. When I was given the trainer, it didn't fit me (I tried it on top of clothes). I left the tag intact and kept the receipt to go in person to return it. My sister said they made her try this on her on top of clothes. I just went to the store today (Monday, 12pm) and was met with extremely rude customer service. The girl at the counter did not even look up from her phone when dealing with me. I felt belittled and at fault with the wa she treated me. I proceeded to tell her that my sister wasn't told there were no returns and mentioned that the receipt says returns are possible if it's within a suitable time frame. She rudely let me know that there are some items that does not apply to. I would have preferred a better service when purchasing (letting my sis know there are no returns on the item) especially when she mentions it isnt for her. Secondly, I would also love it if the customer service girl showed a little bit of respect to the customers by not being so rude and absorbed by her phone. She is the face of the store and this has really rubbed me the wrong way. Safe to say I won't be returning here ever unless I see exceptional reviews of the customer service. Extremely disappointed.

I bought online, I received the product very quickly and the product was exactly what it had shown on the website. The one downfall I found there was no sizing guide on the website and only just found d in their returns policy that they don't accept return items for wrong sizing.

So I bought two outfits for Oktoberfest from this store, two pairs of knee high sock (wasn’t told there was a pair include with outfit) and ribbon for our hair (wasn’t told there was a hair banded included either). I made the purchases as our online order hadn’t arrived. After I made the $200 transaction and left the store I got a phone call saying our outfits had arrived so I went straight back to the store to return them. When I went back I explained the situation to the lady behind the counter, there was zero remorse (she didn’t even look at me as she spoke to me just continued working) I was told “not my problem I don’t make the rules” and I could get store credit and exchange. I didn’t receive a receipt for the purchase which stated this information nor was there a sign in the shop. The lack of customer service in store was appalling and the manner I was spoken too was vile. I work in retail myself and this situation is totally unprofessional and I will NEVER return to store again unfortunately.

Very disapointed with the communication from the company with my order which did not arrive on time even though i was advised by Hurly-Burly it would be arriving ahead of schedule.

The salesman refused to sell me a costume even a few minutes before closing, when I was already inside the store. Don't rely on them, otherwise you may end up without costume for your party, as happened to me.

This place went above and beyond and the customer service was amazing! I struggled to last minute find part of my Halloween costume and the lovely lady stayed back past hours to make sure I was sorted! She was a blessing and I’m so grateful

My friend and In went during Oktoberfest. We had time so came back in the afternoon. One of the lovely girls spent nearly an hour helping my friend to find costumes. Thank you so much for being an amazing staff and team. Such a gorgeous shop with styles and sizes for all. AAA+

Great friendly service, the only wig place in the CBD Perth. I went in, asked one question, got the right information, found what I wanted and made my purchase. Easy.

Came in yesterday for a last minute costume for my Pirates of the Caribbean housewarming party on the weekend, and I really wanted a corset for it but I was worried about sizing and the fit. But the lovely young girl Mino, served me and made me feel so comfortable and such an easy experience as I thought I wouldn’t be able to get anything so last minute. She even went out of her to show my husband how to lace me in.

I had the best first corset purchase experience. Upon arrival I wasn't too sure what I was after, however with help and being shown many different options, I was fitted and given tips and advice. Just all round great customer service experience, thank you Medinah, I can't wait to come back

Thank you so much I got two corsets today and a skirt, and the lovely staff member dealt with my indecisiveness and gave me such a personalised service she even cut my lace for my corset to fit me better. Definitely will be back to be served by her again. I didn’t catch her name but she was tiny with dark hair. Thank you again Hurly Burly

Honestly have shopped at hurly burly many times for work functions and usually they have amazing friendly and extremely helpful staff but unfortunately for this time I was shocked to see how unknowledgeable and lost the staff member was. She had no idea what she was doing and made me wait far too long. Which is certainly not okay when coming in on your lunch break. Someone had to take over and was able to serve me in a matter of minutes. The obviously untrained staff member had pink hair. Really disappointed
