Very disappointed. Had a hold put some family benefits as I hadn’t submitted tax return- turns out H&R Block didn’t submit! One job! When I questioned they quickly submitted it however no apology, no offer of a discount, nothing. Will not go back

Worst tax agent in Australia. I have been doing my returns with H&R block for the last 7 years and their quality of service and people keeps going down as good accountants kept leaving one by one. This year, they took 2 weeks before they lodged my tax return with ATO, my accountant is useless and can barley speak proper english and i would bet she doesn't understand 101 accounting. Everytime i want to inquire about the status of my return she keeps claiming she is so busy she cant talk to ATO on my behalf. Absolutely a joke of an accountant firm. This will be my last year doing business with them and would encourage everyone to avoid at all cost.

Terrible! Had no idea about about my job, shares, crypto currency, housing etc. I had to continually justify myself for the most simple claims. Didn't provide anything of value.

Lodged my tax over 6 weeks ago and been ringing for updates keep being lied too and today ring up and still not Lodged very disappointing after going here for over 10 year's

I will never return to you people again, how can I go from having a refund to owing over $3,000 in tax the fees are supposed to be put in to the refund, I was expected to pay money straight up today

Absolulety shamefull, i had lodged my tax return with an accountant at this branch on the 6/7 and after a month it still hasnt been sent to the ATO. I have been calling for updates for the last 3 weeks and have been lied to and given excuses one after another as to why it hasnt been done. They never call back or return calls when they say they will, i am constantly chasing them up. I have been a loyal client to this company for many years and this will be the last year i ever use them for tax purposes.

Didn’t feel my business was important enough to have my needs met, when I called tax agent had forgotten about the services I called about 7 days beforehand. After several more days still nothing went elsewhere!

They charge like a wounded bull but I don’t feel they deserve it. If your tax is simple do it yourself on the my gov and save yourself some money. If you have investment properties these guys will slug you a hefty free. I find I’m better going to a premium accountant as they charge the same
