Hot Rock Pizza

So recently ive noticed a massive diffrence. Ive lived about 500 meters away for 16 years and since the guy that really made hotrock a top 5 pizzas in perth sold up its progressively become a run of the mill shop! No longer a place that cares its just an over priced dominoes.

Wow, thought this place was gone, what a treat to discover it again, that was the best pizza we have had in years, definitely a repeat customer, thank you all so much.

Just moved to Perth from Sydney, trying new fast food shops around the area. The pizza from this shop was delicious with a nice flavour, however it was a bit too greasy. The chips were also tasty and satisfying. Overall, a decent place to grab a quick bite, but could benefit from less grease on their pizzas.

I normally have an easy experience and the product is very good.
But the last time I ordered on a Friday night and it never arrived.
The next day I get an email saying my order would be arriving at 12.10. I tried calling to say I don’t want my order at this time. I called 20 times in the hour with no response. Just kept ringing out.
So I drove to the restaurant and stated I would like to keep the order. I was assured it would be at 6.30. At 6 the order was cancelled.
A very disappointing experience.

Great pizza, they have some excellent deals too. Always ready when they say.

By far the best pizza joint since moving here 3 years ago, and believe me I've tried nearly every pizza place here. Im an old school Melbourne boy and I thought there was no better pizza place or would ever come close to GODFATHERS PIZZA - 159 Millers Rd, Altona North Victoria, Australia, so to the boys at Hot Rocks ya make a pizza like Ma (Madrina e Padrino) makes. (Godmother / Godfather) So boys keep on keepin on ill see yas shortly

Order from here atleast once a month. There pizzas are normally great! This time the “cheesy pepperoni” had no cheese sauce. It’s normally swimming in it which makes it taste amazing! Please make sure you put lots of cheese sauce on the cheesy pepperonis that’s what makes them amazing!

The first pizza i ordered was the best pizza i've ever had, so i thought i'd finally found the perfect pizza shop.the second pizza was as if it came from a different shop.smelled and tasted really stale. When i ordered my 3rd pizza i was obviously hoping it was going to be as good as the first one.it wasn't.again it smelled and tasted really stale. So my search continues for the perfect pizza shop.all 3 pizzas btw were meat lovers with tomato sauce.

Ordered a classic Italian tonight. Would say this is really nice and definitely will be back to try out the rest of the menu!

Fat pizzas made fresh and quick. Never had any issues at all. Order here if you want a reliable local. The base is a thin italian style, just they way I like.

Some of their pizzas are great, some can be missed. I realise that supply and labour shortages have pushed up prices but the increase for a pick-up is ridiculous especially considering other pizza companies price increases. We're not spoiled for choice in the Bassendean area which is great but hard to go back at the moment.

Not sure on delivery but I'd assume it's the same, haven't had a delivery since I heard the new prices.

We got the meat lovers and a cheese pizza and let me tell you, iv never had such a cheesy pizza before! It's like the pizza you see in movies, grabbing a slice and the mozzarella is everywhere. I don't eat it but the kids loved it. The meat lovers was delicious aswel, service was nice and fast. No complaints here

I have been ordering Pizzas religiously through these guys for a while now and tonight they delivered me the wrong pizza. When I called to advise them, they told me because I ordered through Menulog I would have to go through them for a refund (Even though I didn't want a refund I just wanted the pizza I had paid for). The restaurant had messed up my order and them putting it back on Menulog is a big cop out, pretty rubbish customer service.

Food is good
but do not order delivery through menulog
they will forget half your order
and you will be forced to get a refund and waste half your night and not be able to relax and enjoy the whole dinner experience

Pizza is a lot better than some of the other fast food pizza shops.good choice of pizza products & ice creams, fast service & Reliable I no problems with hot rocks pizza nice tasting pizza (prices have increased)

Still noticed staff wearing gloves when processing order/handling money = why wear gloves at all?

Coming into winter (so no blow-flies like my previous post) - but customers still keep leaving the sliding door open.

after recent experience = Lack of hygiene.

Swatting away blowflies while waiting inside for pizza is not good (what happened to the plastic curtains at entrance?) + storeperson didnt bother to take off gloves when processing order/handling money (why wear gloves at all then?).

Good value for money + great tasting pizza.
Also, dont forget to use their stamp card. Spend enough over afew visits - and you get a free pizza!

High quality pizza, yet without breaking the bank.

IMO: the only pizza that beats them.is from a traditional Italian place i sometimes go to, but = more expensive: (: (

Has this place changed owners? Always WAS the best but last couple times have dropped the ball. Just got three underbaked pizzas. Last time lacking topping. What happened?

I love coming to this pizza shop because of your employee george edminston he cooks the food very good and is very nice i thought my food was 5 stars and it tasted very good you should give him a raise

The pizzas are perfect with the right amount of toppings.

Garlic bread is occasionally burnt on the bottom but still edible.
