We are very happy with the staff at Homebuyers Centre especially Matt Smith at the Lakelands Centre as he has been so helpful and professional and though he was very busy with alot of other homebuyers he made us feel that we were the most important clients he had, we have only got to first stage so far but it has been a very easy and friendly choice to buy with Homebuyers, thankyou

We started our build journey in late June and have flown through the pre-construction stage thanks to the amazing team at Homebuyers Centre! The process has been super smooth, starting out with meeting Callum Hearne in the display home. Straight away he was so helpful and guided us as first homebuyers. Callum was super friendly and never applied any pressure to us which we really appreciated.

What sold us on building > established was chatting to Callum and the team and understanding how much more value we could get for our money building a new home. We loved the idea of personalising a home that was perfect for us (and brand new too!)

The display home centre, Home Collective, was so helpful during the start of our home building journey. We loved our tour of Home Collective, it was super helpful to get an idea of standard inclusions and to see them in real life. We are blown away by what is included and standard in our package with Homebuyers Centre- there are some amazing options! We basically didn't have to upgrade anything other than a few bits in the electrical dept.

Shout out to our CX coordinator, Despina, who has been super quick at responding to all our questions and always keeping us informed.

We would definitely recommend popping into Home Collective or a display home and chatting with the Homebuyers team, you won't regret it!

Fingers crossed for a speedy build now, we can't wait to see our home come to life.

Update: Our house is now nearly done in under a year and we couldn't be happier!

We went with Homebuyers as they guaranteed our house would be built in 10-12 months. We have received notice of 31 days delay total due to the weather and steel shortage (which is perfectly understandable) however, it will be 12 months in 3 weeks time and our house is only 20% complete with no reason why. They wont answer our phone calls or reply to emails with any information. We have asked them every month for an estimated completion date and no one will give a straight answer other than "it's too early to tell". After 12 months of a 12 month build. The lack of honest communication has been so stressful for our family and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this. Don't use them.

Spoke with Mark from homebuyers centre to get me and my partner into our first home. Although we didn’t proceed with a build, due to our personal finances, Mark was helpful every step of the way. We went to different builders before meeting with Mark, and I’m confident to say that if we were able to proceed we would. Unlike the other companies, Mark was not pushy or tried to get us to sign without having all the information - which I really appreciated being a first home buyer. Every aspect of the build was explained in key detail and even when I was too busy or forgot to return calls (sorry Mark!) he would kindly follow up again with a call or a text message giving enough time apart to not be annoying! Not to mention his overall professionalism, attitude and knowledge of the industry was outstanding. Once we’re able to, we will definitely be coming back and asking for Mark!

Started off amazing and I was told I could be in by June-July to then be told they can’t find a plasterer less than a week later. This hurts hard as my landlord as just put my rent up $100 per week and I’m paying interest for the house to remain untouched now for 3 weeks. They have now received a large bulk of my mortgage and any delay feels like a simple price increase on the overall purchase price. Please WA let’s have sunset clauses for future protection. My review is up for improvement pending some action guys.

My latest update was work would recommence on 05/04/23 but it seems I have been let down again and the property remains needing a plasterer. Wondering why work outside can not start rather having the build held up on all levels.

Edit 07/06/23 up to 3 stars now.

Things are moving much smoother and I feel a 5 star is imminent, I will keep you updated. Just need to stop the builder’s using my power on other properties.

Update I’m in my house end of August and the workmanship is great just remember to check on exclusions as part of your build. Definitely feel I made the right choice of builder.

One star because I'm forced to so I can do the review, worst experience ever. I would definitely say that my experience with this company has marked my entire life and put me into a depression.
Not only was my house damaged and full of defects but they handed it over with paint all over the floor, windows, frames, walls with cracks, area's missing paint, walls with dents and chips, broken switches, missing trims. Leaks in the ceiling.screws coming through the drywall.
Lucky I have the resources to fight them in court.
Not only did they just go passing me from one department to the other but on many occasions I caught employees just lying through their teeth.
I will be care careful about what I publicly say but bank is reviewing the situation and my lawyer has already indicated that this will not be a loss for me.

I recommend home buyers Centre to everybody if you are looking for someone who you can trust to build your dream house then home buyer centre team is what you looking for
They very kind and professional they will try their best to understand what you really need and to make sure you are happy
Homebuyer centre team is actually enjoy what they are doing they want to see you happy they will not push you and rush you to pay a deposit it's not just about money for them
I met plenty of builders and real estate agent and I can confidently say homebuyer centre is the best thank you guys for you support to help me purchase my dream house cheers

Do NOT TRESSPASS MY PROPERTY to use my tap and left all the cement waste in my yard! I had complained before about you guys using my tap continuously and despite putting a temporary gate, you all kicked it down? I have security footages of the incident and photo evidence of the black Ute around 6pm, 11 jan 2023.

My first home has just been completed and I couldn't be more impressed with my site manager Simon Goldsborough! From the minute he took over my build; I was kept informed and up to date on the progress. Simon ensured that all his tradesman completed their work to a high standard and in a fair time frame considering everything that happened with the building industry after COVID hit. On final key handover, Simon was extremely thorough and extremely helpful in ensuring that I could move into a clean, tidy and well built house with no defects. I couldn't have asked for a better Site Manager.

Furthermore, from when I first signed up with Homebuyers Centre and had Blake Garvey as my consultant, Jo Cunningham who was my Pre- construction Coordinator and Olivia Dingli my Customer Experience Coordinator, the whole team were just amazing from start to finish and can't thank them enough for all their efforts in making the whole building process as enjoyable as it could have been. But mostly for the team effort to make my house a dream come true. Thanks for everything!

I decided to buy an established home, as I found the perfect one. I was going to use Homebuyers as Lily was thorough helpful polite and not pushy, if I decided to build in the future I will definitely contact Lily, as I know it will be a smooth transaction. The building industry certainly has an interesting landscape of characters, and Derek from Homebuyers Centre is definitely a stand-out - for all the RIGHT reasons!

From the first conversation, Derek's depth of expertise was evident. Always courteous and respectful, he has answered every question and concern we've had promptly and always with the best outcome for us in mind. Derek has been incredibly generous with his time, and we feel very fortunate to be able to draw on his expertise.

He found us the perfect patch of paradise, and the house we're building is an absolute ripper! Everything has been so easy but the HBC Go Package takes simplicity to the next level! No stress + no fuss = very happy clients!

Coaxed me into taking a plot that had not much more then a couple of months to be titled while gleeing an ideal scenario to help me save a little extra, no delays on my side, day before settlement hit me with the greedy price increase, savings and bank account cleaned out! Feel totally cheated with their crafty plan, never ever use Homebuyers again! Dream? More like a nightmare!

I have had the best experience with every part of Home Byers.
I was lucky enough to start the journey with Sally and from the start she has been incredible, and can't recommended her enough!

Built a villa with them a few years ago the house is up for sale we had a engineers report that says the roof needs strapping on supports that was not put in by law.
Contact the company said they would get back to me 12 days later still no answer phone again today after 4 calls ended with no response after being transferred over a lady said she would have answer within a couple hours that was at 1030 13,12,2021 it is now 530 still mo reply as to repairs and the house sale settles in 2 weeks,
Have handed it over to the lawyers to start proceedings for compensation for repairs plus costs will see how it ends up.
My daughter built 2 houses through them but never again to hard t get answers when something goes wrong

I built with Homebuyers Centre and could not have asked for a better experience. I really felt like they were on my side and doing everything they could to make my building experience a positive one. Every person that I dealt with from beginning to end was a delight. If I had to build again, I wouldn't think twice about using Homebuyers Centre.

I was in NSW in lockdown throughout the entire planning, contracts and building process. They assigned a great sales consultant to look after me through the design and contract stage. If you get Blake, count your lucky stars!

Blake organised for their head architect, Joel, to turn my floor plan sketches into a real finished floor plan. The land had a few restrictions that I wasn't aware of when I made my sketches, but Joel managed to arrange everything so the house fit on the block and still met the criteria of what I was after. Joel even improved a few things that I had not thought of.

When I first contacted Homebuyers Centre, it was right at the beginning of the pandemic, and they were offering 3 simultaneous promotions to attract more customers and Blake, knowing that I was on a tight budget, even got approval to give me an extra discount on top of the promotions!

Then Blake went above and beyond and actually organised to video chat with me at 10 PM so that we could sign the contract and lock the price in because the promotions were going to end the following day.

One thing very grateful for is that I was able to make all of my colour choices and pre-start decisions online. Handy since I was in lockdown in a different state.

Fortunately for me, my pre-start consultant, Althea, had a background in interior design and took the initiative to warn me that I had chosen a roof colour that did not match my bricks. On my computer screen it looked great, but in real life would have looked horrible and I am so glad she spoke up about that!

Another example of Blake going above and beyond came after the contracts were signed. By this time, the federal and state governments had announced their homebuilder grants and I had 3 months to get the slab laid to qualify.

However, as my job was affected by the Covid lockdowns, I then discovered that almost every bank would not consider me for a loan.

When my broker in NSW was unable to find a solution, Blake put me in contact with an award-winning mortgage broker in Western Australia (Andrew from Resolve Finance) who, completely free of charge, pointed me in the right direction which resulted in me getting a loan just in time.

Just 2 weeks after my building loan was approved, Homebuyers Centre were already starting on the slab and because of this, I just slipped in the qualifying period for the government grants by 1 day!

I haven't seen the house in person yet but judging from the many photos, and the inspector's reports, the workmanship seems to be excellent quality.

I think the most important thing with building a house is choosing a building company that won't screw you around. And also has good build and design standards. I ended up with a house way better than I would have expected for the price I was paying.

Most importantly, they stood by their word and acted with complete integrity all the way through. Even though I received 3 generous promotions, even though they gave me an extra discount on top of that, even though I chose the most expensive to build elevation from the choices they offered, even though I ended up later on qualifying for 3 simultaneous government grants, even though the cost of building materials skyrocketed after the grants were announced, they STILL honoured the contract, never asked for more money, built a stellar house, and treated me like a valuable customer all the way through!

Coming from Sydney, I didn't think it would ever be possible for me to own my own house. I spent most of my life thinking my future was to be homeless. But now I not only own my own home, but a brand-new home and one that I can be extremely proud of!
