Highway Hotel

Food was great! But sadly the rest of night was ruined by kids running around the TAB sports bar. Over 18 and would like to be able to go out for an evening with out kids running around. There’s a bistro section for family’s and a sport bar for 18+. Kids left un-attended while parents out smoking.

My husband and I decided at the last minute to go out for a quick meal for our anniversary. Even though they where fully booked they found us a table in the bar area and brought our drinks and meals through to us. Not once did we feel as if we were an inconvenience to them. We had a lovely meal with fantastic friendly service. Thank you

If you looking for a place with delicious food, friendly staff and a fun environment then you should visit the Highway Hotel. Every time i have visited the Highway Hotel i have not been disappointed, top quality location!

Great lunch today
We had southeast asian salad with tofu which was nice and fresh.
Jalapeno poppers hot crunchy yum x5
Mozzaella sticks yum crunchy outside and gooey in the middle x4
Tempura vegies also good crunchy x8
Generous portions, we had to take some of the salad home.
Always happy with the meals and service.

Great place for a steak and a pint of your favourite beverage. Go see Gemma in the public bar she will look after your every need and then some.quality service when she is working!

Wow, food was awesome! I ordered Fishermans? The name escspes me but the salmon was cooked to perfection with generous serving of scallops, prawns, clams and mussels covered in butter sauce and a lovely crisp green salad with sundried tomato and shaved parmesan cheese, oh and chips. Hubby had the ribs in Jacks and Cola served with green salad onion rings and chips. Ate the lot because we are pigs and it was so yummy! Service was top notch. Only gave 4 stars because ambiance is tired, carpet is old and ugly and no tablecloths on the basic tables. However the menu is very good value and simply delicious. Thank you Chef!

Served by a couple man hating lezos. Everything is to hard. Called last drinks then 10 minutes later let there friends have another round.bye forever moles

Went for Christmas lunch today - absolutely excellent - staff were fabulous, went above and beyond to give a great experience - food was amazing - would definitely recommend.

Had a company meeting there place was clean and the morning tea was okay. Lunch was smelling good but did not stay for that

They no longer offer table service which is a bit disappointing but all the pubs seem to be going down that road. The meal came in good time and was very nice.

I have tried to like this place but have repeatedly left disappointed with their inability to adapt to dietary needs (including one trip to ED). Friendly service and the food does look great. Just don't expect to be accommodated if you need any adjustments.

The food was very yummy! Recommend the chicken party and the lemon pepper squid. The salad was really nice. Service was very quick and the staff friendly!

Perfect location with heaps of room for parking. Quick and efficient service from friendly staff, topped off with incredible food. Entre was squid - it was tender and not stringy at all, came with a delicious caper Mayo with a side salad dressed with balsamic reduction. Main was 400gm rump - medium and cooked to perfection with a choice of sauces. The mushroom sauce was rich a creamy with big slices of mushrooms. The steak was smokey and chargrilled served with the same side salad accompanied with thin crisp French fries. Great experience so will now come here every time we visit Bunbury. They also have great specials available for a bargain!

Stay away. The meal my wife and I had here was disgraceful. My pork belly was reheated to an inch of its life (dry) and the crackling was charcoal. I was supposed to have watermelon salad with it (I was really looking forward to the salad) when it came it was just 2 very small triangles of watermelon, and that was it. Not happy. Table service was non existent. Table was not cleared after entree, so when mains came out it was a juggling act between dirty plates and the mains. My wife fared no better. Horrible so called jerk chicken and avocado sandwich, came on a large roll, tiny bit of chicken and avo. Supposed to be on focaccia bread, no salad to speak of and then filled the plate with chips to hide it. We definitely won't be going back.

Always have a steak never had a badly cooked one. Very reasonable prices.
Have been again Friday evening with family. It was great. I had the steak again and it was so tender. My Daughter tried it she thought it was realy good. The price for my senior steak was just $15.00 I call that fantastic.

5 stars for service, our waiter was awesome has us laughing and looked after us with helpful suggestions and good knowledge of the menu. Also $6 pints before 6pm and a good range of weekly specials is a win in our book, this was the $15 parmy deal and kids meal.

I went there with family the other week, my mum ended up in hospital with food poisoning

Busy night couldn't order food told no more orders for 20 mins it was only 7.20pm and this was a Tues God help them on a Sat

Enjoyed a very tasty lunch at reasonable price and good portion size. Friendly and quick service.

Food was either under cooked or over cooked. Some chips were still frozen while others were burnt. Several of the staff were just standing around with their backs turned towards customers. Some of the girls were pointing and staring and then laughing. Rude and the manager didn’t even bother apologising when I commented on this.
