Hidden River Estate reviews
46Disappointed Don’t even bother. Website says OPEN.but they were closed both Friday and Saturday when we travelled down south. Won’t be going back
Amazing food, lovely staff and outstanding service, recommend going to if you are in the area
The food was absolutely amazing. Complements to the chef. Rarely do you see four adult plates at our table completely empty. We would totally recommend the restaurant. Thank you
Amazing food and service. Highly recommend it. Octopus and chicken were most delicious dishes.
We had a late lunch and the pulled pork was dried out. An expensive meal for what you got. The location was beautiful and the wine was great. Was so looking forward to something amazing after reading the reviews.
We love coming to Hidden River Estate, have been 3 times and ordered the cheese platter each time, its too good to pass up.
Beautiful views of the winery, river, horses and lots of flowers in bloom. Reasonably kid friendly, great service and well priced. Extra bonus is horse pats afterwards.
LOVED this place.
Excellent wines. The food was delicious and interesting without being pretentious. Great views. Friendly, professional staff.
Entirely recommend a visit.
A lovely place, food was nice but very expensive with mains around $42.
Kids meals very small.
Absolutely fabulous little winery and restaurant. (Unlike us) book ahead and bring your appetite. Our cheeseboard was divine, but I wish I'd had room for mains, as the beef cheeks and rabbit looked outstanding. Next time. ️
Good concept but very average food (soup, chicken, pork, vegetable and dessert). Overpriced considering the quality.
Beautiful setting overlooking the dam
Horses running around in the paddocks
Modern, tastful settings
The meals, well, divine is the only word that comes to mind
Will be back for sure
Oh friendly staff too
All of the lunch meals for our party of 6 were very tasty and arrived almost simultaneously. The dining area is very attractive and the views delightful.
Beautiful location, incredible wines and exquisite lunch!
Menu was well thought out and interesting, meals boasted local produce and were just delicious - compliments to the chefs!
Staff were welcoming and friendly, and wine was gorgeous too - the rosé was a favourite.
Fantastic hidden gem, will definitely have to come back.
Dropped in for lunch. Had the best share platter we've had for a long time. Winery Shiraz was tasty too and ended up with a couple of bottles to bring home.
Gorgeous setting, friendly and attentive staff, delicious and plentiful dishes. Would definitely go back again.
Ordered the rabbit and got a very expensive plate full of bones and I mean VERY LITTLE meat at all and what was there was very dry Not happy at all
Disappointed as read good reviews. Understand can be Short staffed but service was poor for premium price restaurant. Overpriced and food was cold.
Had beef cheek that was a bit fatty and chewy and gnocchi rubbery. Duck Nachos for $40 came served Luke warm so sadly very disappointed with overall experience! I think the shortage of staff has had a massive effect on overall service delivery and experience. Lovely view
Lovely modern estate for a fantastic bite to eat and the scenery is just amazing! Very tranquil. Wheelchair accessible
Food is very good as is the wine and drink selection. Only criticism was the drink service is slow
