Beautiful spot, a walk away from town centre. We had a luxury suite room 1 that had all amenities needed. Clean and comfortable bed. A beautiful spa bath to enjoy after exploring Margaret River. Lovely Brewery next door and a Distillery across the road. Also a love park and trail walk. Lots of restaurants nearby to choose from book upon arriving. We would highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived we were impressed. We were greeted by Terry who was very helpful and friendly. The outdoor areas are stunning with lush green gardens and tropical water features. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable! The balcony overlooks the forest which is full of wildflowers at the moment so made for a beautiful place to relax with a drink. The location is really good being only 5 min walk into town and the brewery next door was perfect for dinner and drinks with no driving back to accommodation. We highly recommend Heritage Trail Lodge and look forward to our next visit.

It’s very picturesque. As you walk on the wooden boardwalks you glimps small waterfalls and ponds of fish. The inside of the spa suite is spacious. With a king bed, a dinning table and chairs for 2, a kitchenette with fridge, kettle cups and glasses, toaster and cutlery. I bought an iron but didn’t need to as one was supplied and an ironing board. There is a wardrobe to hang your ironed clothes in. The suite is kept toasty warm with a split system and when you want to just relax after a busy day there is Foxtel provided. Breakfast is supplied to satisfy the biggest eater and enough variety to satisfy the pickiest. You can sit on the back veranda and admire the unique bush land and the native animals that abound. There is nature trails that you can walk and a lovely river along one

Beautiful surroundings, the rooms are big and clean, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the stunning views. The bed is so comfortable and the spa bath amazing. The breakfast is full of quality local produce. Very hospitable and helpful. For the price, it is perfect.

Close to Margaret River shops. Has a huge spa bath and bed. Very comfortable. No microwave, or cooking facilities, however, we were asked if we would like to use their BBQ we were welcomed too. Has toaster and kettle, with coffee, tea sugar and milk provided, as well as bathroom products and hair-dryer. Has a verandah which has a bush view. (Very Lovely!) My absolute favourite was the Huge Spa bath! We stayed in number 6. Gardens are lush, and tranquil with fish ponds and beautiful variety of plants. Free breakfast with yummy yoghurts fruit, toast, doughnuts, tea, coffee and juices. No hot breakfast though. Short drive to Chocolate factory and Dairy Factory a must. Yoghurts and cheeses delicious! Beaches incredible especially RedGate Beach! Overall, worth the money. Very satisfied with our peaceful stay.

Hello, me and my partner had a interesting experience with this retreat.apparently they make some hot prices and deals to attire new customers in the place, but then when we tried to redime the promotion it wasn't possible ‍️ (either via website than calling at their number)
The gentlemen at the phone wasn't aware of anything and apparently this promotion shows only to me ahahah
Well, that was fun. I hope you will fix this problem

The rooms are large, cabin style and very nicely decorated. The room smelt so lovely and it was clean, especially the bathroom. The jacuzzi bath was my absolute favourite! I love the windows in the bathroom that open up so you can view the bedroom and the forest. The outdoor balcony was a lovely touch. The room had everything you needed. Terry was fabulous and so helpful. I did wish there were more dairy free options for breakfast - even almond milk to have with cereals / teas and coffee. The honey and jams were lovely though.

Very nice place to stay. No kitchenette but rooms are very clean. Spa works well and they also have dvds to borrow and watch if nothing on Foxtel. Staff are all very friendly and continental breakfast was tasty. The proximty to some nice walking trails is also very handy for a morning walk

We stay here whenever we are in the Margaret River region. Quiet, comfortable and close to nature. The spa baths are great!

Have a lovely stay here over 3 days at Margaret River. Close 3minute drive to town and 10-minute all the surrounding wineries. Fully booked a month or so in advance! Clean and quiet. The owners are hospitable and helpful. However, breakfast is underwhelming though.

Great location and spacious room, but that's as far as it goes. I'm a front office manager and I've been working in hotels for many years, which means I can be picky but I swear I had very little expectations this time and still got disappointed. Service is ridiculous, the owner is rudely straight forward with the guests and doesnt know how to approach them in a professional way. Wi-Fi is slow (if you manage to find the signal, which acording to owner Terry "is bad at the rooms at the top anyway"). But the worst part is the breakfast: I was shocked when I found a table with nothing to eat but bread for toasts, cheese and cereals. So sad to see. My reaction was to turn around and drive to a cafe on the main street to have a decent meal. At last, battery candles by the bath were uncharged and the room stank really bad of cleaning products which we later found out was in fact a diffuser. Definitely not worth the price and it is far from being a luxury accommodation, it is more like a road side motel. All things that a bit more studying in Hospitality management would fix.
