Health Freak Cafe Applecross

This is a $23 wrap t/a from this store. Notice they didn't even bother slicing the avocado, just put a whole quarter in the wrap as is. Many other fillings left out. Sent them a message on FB and the reply was basically that they'd let the kitchen team know.

I have been here twice. The food wasn't fresh. The chickpeas were not fresh. My friends chicken was dry. We left without finishing our meal. Would not go back.

These guys cut corners with ingredients. They promote themselves as a whole-food cafe. I ordered a coco whip and the chocolate sauce (after asking to see the bottle) was sugar laden, full of milk and full of additives. I asked for a refund and was only given half. They mentioned it’s the sauce they buy from heat office so don’t get a say. Gross.

Really delicious and 100% GF which makes it a coeliac haven! Wonderful friendly service, and even though we’re visiting from Melbourne I hope to be back soon! Definitely recommend for a guilt free meal Fluffiest muffin of my life.

Lovely breaky here this morning.bacon & egg roll, canadian pancakes and egg & avo on toast all served quickly and were delicious. Long macc was really good too. Very happy.

Awesome cafe, helpful and lovely staff, good food depends on which item you order, however the store is quite nice to dine in with cool designs and a nice bathroom to use which some restaurants currently lack, my only problem is them constantly changing the menu to some questionable options

Food was very nice, definitely healthy! The shakes and juice are great too. Definitely a great place for a quick healthy meal. Will be returning!

Got charged 20$ for the most unflavourfull revolting salad nothing like the description. 20$ is also crazy expensive for a salad good or bad definitely will not be returning. What a disgrace

Great food! It can be a bit pricey and some of the servings arent very big but thats the price you pay for healthy food

I’ve had the zucchini fritter stack, vegan pancakes and the Chai with soy. Food is delicious. Service is humble and friendly. I’ll be back!

I am sad to learn the owner sold this and it has been taken over by new owners. All the lovely original.staff have gone and we were met with one woman dare I say the food quality had dropped mince was poor quality, chai was cheap.powder and juice same. I am devestated to see new owners substituting quality as you will lose customers. I wont be going back as do not trust what iam being served. Dont buy a health freak outlet if you intend on misleading diehard health nuts. It is.not ethical.

Thoroughly enjoyed my berry waffle because the berry was sour. I would come back to try something else.

I always pop in at least once a week, really like Keto friendly food and all staff are friendly, very clean

The food is quite expensive and portions very small. I had the zucchini fritters which had the texture and taste of polenta fritters.

Ordered an ice latte with almond milk and it tastes like an ashtray. $6 as well. Won’t be going back.
