52Went to Harvey Norman to look at fridges & buy elsewhere as they removed the old fridge. Learnt Harvey Norman does remove old appliances. Great knowledge, listened to my wishes, pros & cons to my picked selection on fridges etc. Also, I took my measurements of the kitchen cavity for the fridge (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT). I thoroughly recommend Harvey Norman, Port Kennedy for fridges. Actually, everyone in each department knows thorough information on departmental products. Hence I have spent $$$ in Harvey Norman. Thank you
Went into the store today to purchase a range hood. 2 salesmen were standing there, they saw me waiting for assistance but they ignored me & continued talking to each other. I gave up & walked out, gave my business to The Good Guys instead. Very poor HN.
The good, the bad and the meh, customer service not so much. There was good - gentleman matched a price for us. The bad - their website says they do PayPal split BUT they don’t mention that does not apply to in store Then the meh - 2 ladies somewhat condescending regarding the misinformation on their website and misdirection to where their loading dock actually was as there is a labelled loading dock BUT also a non labelled pick up “loading dock” elsewhere. Man at unlabelled loading dock extremely helpful.

I went down to get one photo taken off my phone to get enlarged but forgot my glass.s and when i ask.d the lady for help she said we dont help you have to use the computor even when i told her i cant see that good. Mayby she dont like working satdays.
I bought a laptop and some accessories for my daughter, and was served by Ian. He was very knowledgeable about the stock in store, and was a great help to me when choosing the right things for her needs.
Purchased an electric recliner lounge suit which was not made with the same foam as displayed on shop floor.
I was told repeatedly it would wear in with use.
I did not believe this and it has not happened.
I did not get the item as displayed and did not get any satisfaction with my
Complaints.
What a fantastic experience! Jennifer needs a pay rise. She could’ve just fobbed us off but she went above an beyond what was required and we are extremely grateful
Ordered a stove online. Staff rang immediately and organised delivery. It didn't turn up. Rang the store and was told that I should have got an email. Delivery organised for the next day, but again no email with the time. Again rang the store.they had no idea, about my delivery. Finally the stove turns up. Lucky I was home! I notice other people have had the same issues before! I paid $49 for delivery, only to be mucked around. Never again Harvey Norman. Your customer service is poor.
They said my office chair was delivered a 10 days ago via an email. I have not received it,
I needed it urgently but they are not responding to my Emails. Disappointed
Mel was very helpful, friendly and informative. Made shopping for a new bed way less of an overwhelming experience for us and we’re super grateful
Went to purchase a $19 wall charger, stopped to look at a display of electronics, salesperson said I had to pay for the charger straight away because I might and I quote

I have just had the most upsetting experience with Harvey Norman in Port Kennedy. I called this morning at 11am, and spoke to Steve. Upon answering, I told him I purchased an LG TV from them about 14 month ago and it had just stopped working. There was a silence, then he said and? I proceeded to let him know I believe I took out the extended warranty as it was a $4200 television. He bluntly asked for my details, then said "they will contact you". When I asked what do you mean? He said someone will contact me. I asked when as I now have no TV. At this stage he was getting irritated with me, speaking in a patronising manner. He said, well they're not going to swap it over, they need to look at it first. I said look, is there someone else I can speak to as I don't appreciate the way you are speaking to me. He said NO, I AM THE MANAGER, in a snarky manner. He bluntly cut me off and that was the end of the conversation. At this stage, I have no idea if or when someone is coming out. If they try repair it or if they send it away. No indication of when this is likely to happen. This person has brought me to tears and I can promise, after all the years of being a loyal Harvey Norman customer, I will never step foot in one again. I have never been made to feel so patronised, belittled and insignificant in all my years of shopping in Harvey Norman.
My husband has called them today to find out if he could get any more information, only to be told that he has put in the system that I was abusive!
I had trouble with the downloading and printing 2 special photos for me. Your assistant Jaime was terrific and helped me with this. Her customer service was outstanding. Thanks Marion Sutherland

Had an issue with my soda stream machine, no issue to exchange for a new one, very friendly staff member Keane.
Port Kennedy branch is so huge staff are very very helpful pleasant make you feel welcome. One staff member a (male) even gave my partner directions to find the toilet and took him right there because I asked where they were for myself but made sure he knew too so he wouldn't, get lost my word that was over 2 years ago and i dont belie i didnt finish this message and send. So i completed this from four lines back. I am starting this message
today 7/12/21. So yesterday on 6/12/21, i visited Harvey Norman in Port Kennedy to buy a portable fan. I ended up buying one for $149 that was air cooler fan have to add ice and it wasn't till i got back to car i looked at the box fo what was inside and it came with a usb connection. I felt pushed into something i didn't want so it was i either go home with this tiny square 7.5 litre for $349. However my point is so many times iv'e gone shopping and have come home unhappy because i bought home what i didn't want and yesterdays episode gave me the courage to stand up for myself next time. And th fan i bought is super cool.
Looking round for a computer mouse, waiting on someone to help me out, showed him mouse i wanted on their website, helpful and friendly had the product i needed and price was on special
I spent $5000 on a bed and mattress. The mattress is no better than a kmart mattress and the bedframe was not made with ease to put together. Most corners did not align. Also the bedframe and mattress are meant to be superking size and the bedframe is much larger than the mattress! Looks stupid! Never been this disappointed in a product than I am with this one! Choose your suppliers more carefully harvey norman! Rubbish.
