All other veterinary clinics should learn from Hanly, they treat you and your pets like family. Sometimes there may be long wait times but that's because they will prioritise emergencies, which is exactly what you want when your pet needs urgent care. The staff are second to none, they work hard, are always happy to help where they can. Unlike many other surgeries Hanly veterinary surgery is about animals, not money. I could bot recommend this surgery more.

This is the best vet around. May have a little wait time every now and then, but well worth it. Great vets, great prices.

I have been using Haney Vet for as long as I can remember. They have looked after every pet in my extended family for years and despite me moving 25 minutes away, I'll still travel the distance to take my dog here. They are reasonably priced and only recommend what is truly needed. I always feel confident I'm not having unnecessary procedures done. The Vets care more about animal welfare than making money. Be prepared for a long wait in the waiting room, a wait I personally think worth it.

Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were able to save our boy Nike and bring him back to his normal goofy self. They have always been our regular vet and are always caring and fast in the treatment room, great when you have a nervous doggo. They saw him with no appointment since it was an emergency, they always make time for sick animals. The nurses and vet were so kind to us as well when we were panicking and looked after him beautifully. He stayed there 4 nights with them this time and it was not a penny over the estimate they gave (which was much less than we expected). They are well worth the drive, we have vets closer but these guys are worth it, will never see another vet again! Thankyou so much guys, we love our goof enormously and are forever grateful.

I’ll give 2 stars because of the experience of the vet but no people skills and abrupt intimidating out the door for the cost. Yes / no.the person I went with had to stop pet insurance so they said they’d think about the situation. Off to another vet where the vets were friendlier and communicated better. And less expensive. I have lots of respect for vets but umm seems some don’t have integrity nowadays ps update 2 nd vet elsewhere diagnosed cancer and has given dog steroid injection to help and meds. Dog is okay but will need to be checked when situation changes. Sadly not looking forward to that day.

Happy that they took the best care possible when our old girl was at her end.thanks for the kindness and understanding showed. It was heartbreaking to loose our girl of 19.she had a wonderful character.and is always going to be missed.

Nice friendly staff members and best vets that go the extra yard to help out with price i would definitely recommend this animal hospital to everyone

Always busy, but always make time for pets in need. Been coming to here for years highly recommend gone above and beyond on many occasions thanks to Gary and everyone down at Hanly vets.

These people really are true animal lovers, you feel like part of an extended family. Pricess are more than reasonable, real old fashioned service.

I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS VET AGAIN.
Arrived for a 2: 30pm appointment sat there for 35mins in waiting room just me and my older, sick & muzzled dog -no other patients waiting whilst vets were walking past etc So I asked how long till we were seen and the girl tells me they're finishing lunch. Why couldn't they have asked me to come later?
My 11 year old dog was distressed sitting in vets waiting room for 40mins for NOTHING. We could have strolled around the carpark or ANYTHING else had we been told.
When we were finally called up I found the male vet to be rude and trying to pressure me into a treatment I didn't want him to commence and he kept repeating "You don't want me to sedate him and start treatment now? " shocked that I was saying no because I knew I could easily take care of it at home without sedation and without charging me $100 to do it either.
It was the most expensive consultation fee of the 5 vets I did ring and only went there because it was the closest. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS VET AGAIN.
They are just out to make money from you at every cnr and have no shame pressuring people to have things done that they might not need done.
I have had a fantastic local vet down in Busselton who truly cares about your pet is happy to explain anything you ask and is very reasonably priced so my experience at Hanly has been so rude and not expected.
It was going to be $330 for the consult and a blood test he sent me to the reception desk after our 2 min consult to sign paperwork for blood test and pay the $330 prior. I couldn't believe it.
So payed the consult fee and left.
Effectively I PAID $100 to sit in their waiting room for 40mins until I asked how much longer and had a 2 minute consult with a rude and pushy "vet".
Most unhappy. Will be looking to another vet asap.

We keep coming back to Hanly vets. This is a very friendly practice with a family feel. Be prepared for the practice owners own dogs to greet you on arrival or wander through waiting room (but very well behaved). Also be prared to sit in waiting room for a while! This can be frustrating but the reality is the staff care and consultations are not rushed. Our pets all receive excellent care here.

I wasn't aware that people operating in such an under pressure environment could be so considerate, amazing culture and heart in this place, what this place does is rare, catering to horrible circumstances for me and my doggo, above and beyond.

I was devastated. However these guys gave me so much goodness to analyse that I was able to not make a bad choice when facing trauma, which is the opposite of what I've done most of my life.

Amazing vet practice ran by humans who don't care for profit, they care for what u care for which is ur animals/pets. I will never go anywhere else unless they told me to or they shut down.thankyou Hanley

Decent prices but you will wait at least 1.5 hours after your appointment time to see the vet with out any explanations or time frame of when they might finally be ready. Receptionist barely answer the phones too. This has been my family vet for about 5 years but I think it's time to change.

Gary and his team have gone out of their way to treat my 2 Jack Russells from 6 wks old to (now) 16 y/o. They are a competent, caring and passionate crew who look to all of the variety of animal patients AND their carers! They show calm when we carers are stressing about our suffering and injured pets. I can only highly commend the practice

I called to get a copy of Sterilisation Certificate for our Local Council. Service was prompt, friendly and timely. Considering Op was during COVID19 in April 2020 whereby owners were not allowed inside the clinic. For WA, thank goodness that is in the past and stays there.

The absolute best Vet clinic, we've been going here for over 27yrs top people, friendly, expert advice, great prices. One could not fault Hanly Vets at all excellent place

Over 2 years ago our 12 year old black lab was really struggling to stand up, it got to a point where we thought we were going to have to put him down. Gary did an innovative spine surgery implanting a stainless steel plate in his back, we were all nervous but we didn’t see any alternative. Post surgery and with the aid of the laser therapy our boy is still going strong. We take our boy twice a week as required and there is a noticeable difference. He is well on his way to being 15 now and still walks morning and afternoon, without fail: sure he goes at his own pace, but he is a distinguished gentleman. The important part is that he is happy, pain free, mobile and active. He makes us smile every day.

Excellent staff who obviously care about and go out of their way for animals in their care. Absolutely amazing! So patient and caring with our Chico boy. Went out of their way to constantly make sure he's okay and showered with love and treats. Would recommend to everyone! Thanks for being so amazing guys ️

Would never take my dog here again! Took him in a few months ago as he was in sever pain, I had to tell the vet what to check, he hardly checked him out and stated "it's probably a bee sting" forward track a month on, same pain but 10 x worse.it's was a spinal injury which was detected from another vet clinic.
