Hangout on Preston

All the food was fantastic, we found a quiet corner in this Cafe and had coffee and cakes and played chess for hours

Popped into this quaint establishment for a lunch date.

We had the Traditional Nachos, Spicy Crispy Chicken Bao Buns and the Arancini.

Everything was delicious, the Nachos had a generous helping of toppings, The Bao Buns had the perfect amount of flavourings and the Arancini was cooked to perfection and the flavour were amazing.

I can't fault anything here, the service was great, the atmosphere was great and the price was fair for the level of culinary delights this place offers.

Will definitely becoming here again in the future.

Used a Groupon voucher which was great value for $. $79 for a 3 course meal & drink for 2 people - it fed 3 of us!
However the table had not been booked properly, even with me confirming the details the day before the booking.

Food portions were HUGE & food was good although the wait for service and food was slightly ridiculous. In their defence it did appear to be quite busy.
We ordered the croquettes, chicken breast and fish followed by a frangelico affogato and pavlova. We could not finish our mains and struggled to eat desert but was 100% worth it.

The venue was extremely loud and crowded though if good weather had been present I imagine it wouldn't have felt so hectic inside. However they did have heaters which helped make the weather bearable.
The bathrooms were disabled friendly, huge and clean.
Staff were friendly, approachable and constantly on the move.

Always honest food, you cant go wrong, Mu fav - the Pork belly with the best sweat potatoes in town! Yummy!

Great little bar and a hidden gem in Como! Great food, generous sizes and beers on tap. What more could you want from a small bar?

Don't miss an opportunity to visit Hangout on Preston. We absolutely enjoyed the food, service and ambience. The quality of the food was so satisfying, from the Morrocan Lamb chops to the Sirloin steak, seafood Paella and Mango Pavlova. Simple, fresh salad full of natural flavour and colour. Don't overlook the opportunity to make use of Groupon vouchers that offered generous discounts. So glad we discovered this gem in Como and would love to visit again when the open fireplace is roaring on a wintry night. Thank God for this blessing of a beautiful wedding anniversary dinner.

A Great place for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner that always leaves you satisfied. Affordable pricing, wide range of options on the menu complemented by a great management and friendly staff that leaves you wanting to come back for more. Highly recommend for any type of occasion.

Awesome food and atmosphere. Calamari is cooked to perfect timing and not soggy. Generous servings. Will be back

We ordered Beef Brisket with Eggs Benedict. What a waste of money. We actually questioned that we got the wring order as the eggs came out in top of a deep fried hashbrown. So disappointing. We were assured it was beef Brisket but we couldn't find any meat amongst the mash potatoes. $23 for deep fried mash spud and poached eggs. Load of bull

BFF brought me here for lunch on a voucher. Fantastic value! Excellent service, great food.

I had my sisters bridal shower at the hangout and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The owner Srizana made the process so easy and really took great care of us. The guests were really impressed by the food quality and serving sizes. Honestly the best restaurant in Perth. Highly recommend everything about this place. Srizana and the team are so polite and accommodating. Thank you so much for everything. I Will be telling all my friends about Hangout on Preston.

Friendly, attentive service. Good menu and really nice food. Very generous portions at good prices. Good drinks list, also at good prices. Nice cosy atmosphere with heater and good music. Great for a casual catch up with friends. I’ll definitely be back again and will recommend it to others.

Cosy little cafe/bar. Great alternative to the cafes on Angelo St two mins drive away. Really friendly owner. Love sitting next to fireplaces to keep warm. Great coffee! Extensive menu for a place their size; will be back for brunch soon!

Best customer service from the young lady's there and the barista is one of the best in perth hands down.would happily put my Money down and say some of the best food/coffee perth has to offer. If your thinking about coming here just do your self a favor and book a table coming back for sure
