Hangout on Preston

Overpriced. Dessert disappointing- one small crepe & barely any fruit. But coffee, sauces/coulis & service good.

Excellence food, outstanding service and the restaurant is located in a vibey neighbourhood. Such a gem

The prawn linguine had exactly 3 prawns and I have leftovers in my fridge with more flavour and texture. The pasta was over cooked and the whole dish drowned in parmesan. Gross.

Amazing food. Cant fault. Seems to be some new young staff that are not very attentive. Had to keep on asking for service and drinks. The lovely owners may not be aware, the younger staff require further service training. Simple things like keeping an eye on empty drinks and empty plates. Wiping down tables.
Other than that, love the Pork Belly and I hate sweet potatoes, but the Hangout do something that keeps me coming back for a second serve.
Great Restaurant.

Great food but the voucher you get is only good for 2 of the appetizers and 2 of the mains. All other choices you need to pay for the excess.

Couldn’t not produce a steak that was remotely alive on 2 attempts, staff were happy to say they tried to get it right. Will not be back again!

We were there on 7th June for lunch. Good location. The food was amazing and well presented. The staff Chadani and Romaan were very cooperative, friendly and attentive

We went for lunch, the barramundi was superb, my partner had sirloin steak. Both were cooked the perfection. The service was excellent, the staff were efficient and a delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be going there again. Not five star but six. Well done Hangout on Preston.

Warm and cosy despite the stormy weather outside. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was lovely and well presented. We had the bruschetta for entree, stuffed chicken breast and prawn linguine for mains and affogatos for dessert. Great wine list too.

Excellent meals at the Hangout on Preston my wife and I enjoyed a luncheon meal extremely tasty and enjoyable along with friendly staff very courteous and quick service would recommend dining at this beautiful location on Preston street Como 10/10

Went in here with my friends via groupon. Overall solid food, staff, ambiance and experience. Extremely Generous portions. This is a perfect place to have dinner and catch up with your mates.

We were given a voucher as a Christmas present The staff were welcoming and service exceptional. Started with a glass of red wine and a delicious bruschetta to share, a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese enhanced it amazingly. I had a steak sandwich without the roll with lettuce, tomato, egg, caramelised onion, steak.delicious. My husband ordered the hamburger also with all the trimmings but sadly overcooked burger. Great experience nonetheless

Had a day out with my Sister and I at Hangout on Preston Como today 6/1/23.
It was a special day Food, service and ambience was in the Scale 8 out of 10.
So relax and it’s the Plc to chill out.
The gorgeous Waitresses were so friendly I couldn’t say thank you Enough.
We will definitely come back again before the Classes starts. Check it out Peeps

Came here for dinner and was very impressed with the food. I had a seafood dish with chilli muscles and could tell lots of heart went into it. Crepes were also good

What a Wonderful Place.
Awesome Food and Exceptional Customer Service. The staff are helpful, polite & great at their job. Highly recommend giving the Hangout a try. We had such a great meal.

The chef don’t over salt the food so that you are compelled to buy drinks. It speaks the chef’s integrity and you can be sure that the ingredients are fresh.

On top of prawns, you get a whole range of veggies in the seafood pasta which is unheard of. This is THE most hearty yet balanced meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant. It just shows that the chef really cares.

The lamb shank was delicious but the barramundi was small for the price and overcooked and a bit burnt. The bruchetta was delicious
