Under new management and awesome! Great food and service. We went as a family on Sunday for dinner and drinks and we all enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend!

New owner since roughly September.
Today is the first day they can have food out (Melbourne Cup)
Even though we only have buffalo wings and chips but it's super yummy.
The chips are to die for.
The wings were perfectly cooked.and the blue cheese sauce. OMG.don't get me start it.
This is will be a local GEM. ️️️️️️

Got the chefs grill selection, a beer but lost 10 bucks on the donkeys, 14/10 the best $45 ive ever spent. Amazing value

Unfortunately a change of management has taken place and there is a new chef in the place, food had deteriorated drastically from 2 months ago, wife wanted to take left over pizza home and they don't even have appropriate containers. Very dispointing considering how great this placeused to be!

Went there yesterday for lunch. Ordered the t bone with chips and salad. The chips were nice, the mini tomatoes were off and i couldnt finish the steak due to it tasting not right. Wont be going back.

The partner and I went for dinner, I ordered the creamy garlic prawns, they weren't too bad although it seemed like it was just heated up in the microwave, the tails were still on the prawns, the partner ordered a tbone, he asked for medium rare (which is still abit pink in the middle) it came back well done, the partner then told the staff he wanted it medium rare not well done, to then have the steak sent back and told it was cooked properly, my partner then asked for his money back and that's when they said they would cook him a new steak, there was even a steak chart for how to cook them, the cook clearly had no idea how to cook a steak, very disappointed, won't be going there again. Seems like they're losing more costumers as months go by, and they're more interested in the pub side of things.

We stopped off here for a meal before our late flight back to Sydney.
Staff are great and the meal absolutely delicious!

Fabulous Thai Beef Salad, probably best I've had ever! Ditto chips (sampled a couple). The service was spot on too. Definitely returning soon!

Ordered Rare Tomahawk Steak and it's came medium well Rib-eye.slippery lobster=Bugs very disappointed.
Such a false advertisement trying to trick the customers
The pepper sauce rather sweet than peppery.
The salad is old.tomatoes are wrinkles.
Not happy at all.

Not a bad little beer garden. I like the singing local who sits at the table singing with his son)

Great well sized meals not alot of variety but good all rounder if you like the old school pub meal.helpful staff easy accessible and good parking spaces

Mainly a pub for the punters with the TAB taking precedence over any music or conversation. Unfortunately this makes for a very ordinary atmosphere.

Second time i had a meal here in last 6months. First time dinner meal was not good. Had lunch this time. Ordered sliders. OMG. Meat was terrible, could hardly eat it. Buns a bit burnt on top. Chef needs to learn what sliders mean! Been there for last time.

Good friendly people! If bn going to Hale Road Tavern for more than 20 yrs on&off and have neva had any problems
My advice to u would be don't drink and drive get a skipper!

Good feed. Value for money. Friendly staff. Nice menu. Have eaten here a few times. No complaints, food was tasty and cooked well. We didn't have to wait too long either. Although the dining area is a little dull, I would reccomend this place for sure if you want bang for your buck.

Lunch specials are very much bang for your buck. Steak n chips for 10 bucks. Requested medium rare, Cooked perfectly. Give it a crack.

Soooooo.rocked up at eight thirty. To have the cook give the neck cutting sign to the waitress. Apparently even though they say open till 9 they decided to shut early. On Friday night.there were four of us and another elderly couple. Turned away with a neck swipe. Great service guys.

First time here, one pint had free 8ball bite, fish & chips was yum.good service. Better than I expected.

Don't come here very often but decided to go out for ribs and burger night
Staff very friendly and well mannered
Only complaint was when you order the ribs they should tell you half a pig comes out
Definitely a meal for 2
