Hairlarious Kidz

I have been taking my daughter here since it opened in 2016. I have never once been disappointed. The stylists are always SO patient and kind and it helps they do a really great job! My daughters hair is difficult to say the least and it's never too much trouble. It does get busy so reccomend making an appointment but it is totally worth the wait every time. The prices are great and the kids feel like little divas. Support this business!

My son had a hair cut today at this place. The lady who did the cut wasn't proffessional at all and dusnt know how to deal with kids. And the hair cut is the worst we have ever got. Some part is too short and some part looks like wasn't touched at all. Very dissapointed and won't go back there again. Very unfortunate as the other lady we went to a few times before was good but i couldnt book an appointment with her when i booked online.

My son needs a haircut every few months and this is the best place we have found. He hates getting his hair cut and screams and fights (he is 3) but the staff are very patient, gentle and understanding. They offer different options on how to make his experience more pleasant, despite how difficult it must be for them! They do a good job considering and it is a lovely bright place for kids to enjoy. It does get busy on weekends and you might have to wait a while if you don't have an appointment, but they do have toys and there's a playground right outside.

My 19 mo has only ever had his hair cut at home by someone he knows so we were wondering how he'd go getting his hair cut at Hairlarious Kidz for the first time. The lady who cut his hair was so patient as we tried to calm him down before she began. He sat on my lap and watched Bluey while she cut his hair. Afterwards, she gave him a small bag of popcorn and a balloon. Overall, a wonderful experience and we are very grateful to have found a salon specifically designed for kids with such friendly and patient staff.

I'm a little confused as to why these guys have so few reviews! They're sensational.
Our son's first haircut was a breeze. They were super friendly, our son was enamored with the stylist, and just in case they had tablets mounted for the kids with a slew of distracting kids shows. They had fun and gave him a mohawk and let us snap photos before finishing the cut. It was a tonne of fun. Will definitely bring him back while he's little.

The team here are so patient with my little boy. He loves using the playroom in the waiting area and a bonus is the playground right out front.

Can't fault this place. We have a very difficult toddler and they had such care and patience! Really really grateful we found this place. We travel to go here and will be back for sure! Worth the drive!

My 4 year old boy hates haircuts but the staff at Hairlarious made it fun and easy for him. Thankyou guys for the balloons and bubbles! Harry will definately be back!

Great salon for children. Calm staff, in spite of a long waiting list and a noisy, busy waiting area. Thank heavens for Bluey on their tablets (or whatever the child's favourite show is).

My smallest one loves coming just not used to lying back for a wash! Sarah Jane was very patient with my Grumpy one! The other loves it now, it is a real treat to come. We do it before each school term.

Louise goes to so much trouble to put my son Max at ease.
Max is terrified of getting his hair cut and each time we have gone to Hairlarious it gets easier.
He loves getting to choose a balloon and getting a bag of popcorn at the end.

Thank you to the wonderful Louise who made my sons hair cut experience so much better, calmer and so patient with him. His fears of getting a haircut seemed non existent today. You are AMAZING! Wish I'd known about this place 3 years ago!

Fantastic, experienced hairdressers that put my nervous boy at ease. Great environment with lots of things for the kids to play with while they wait.

Hairlarious Kidz was good, they handled kids well and have a huge stock of toys to keep kids occupied. Wehn I went - there was a very long wait (1.5 hr+) and no ability to make a booking. There is a good play area outside, if you don't mind waiting. Certainly for a toddler I found the experience underwhelming and expensive - may be better for older kids

It was good, busy and quite a lineup. Only disappointment was they place an iPad in front of your child. Great location with a play area out front.

Have had haircuts here before and cannot complain about them however the customer service is shocking. I brought my 1 year old in for a a haircut this morning and was told it was about a "30 minute wait". I waited 1 hour and 5 minutes. I understand it's school holidays and you're probably busier than normal but to keep a customer waiting that long is disgraceful. Needless to say I walked out as god knows how much longer I'd had to have waited. For $28 for a dry haircut I'd expect decent service to come with it. Probably a good idea to either take bookings or hire more staff.

I took my son here today for his first hair cut and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were lovely and are masters of cutting the hair of a toddler that moves constantly. Such a great concept with toys for the kids to play with, iPads to watch/distract and even a balloon and popcorn to take away with you at the end. I highly recommend and will definitely be back
