Great place for kids haircuts. The staff are so attentive and make the experience very memorable.

We found this lil gem a while ago when passing through, it looked amazing. Finally our daughters hair needed a cut so we came back.
We called up and got in the same day, all the staff were amazing and our daughter was treated like a princess with balloons, bubbles and a bow.
Every effort was made by staff to ensure her first hair cut was an enjoyable experience.

I decided to try this place after all the lovely reviews but unfortunately had a very different experience. Yes there are toys and ipads and balloons and popcorn but when we walked in the salon there was no acknowledgement by the staff. They then went on to ask me 'who are you here for? ' There was no hi, welcome, or a smile on their faces. Not busy with customers either, just seemed too tied up in their own thing. The hairdresser then goes on to ask me if I wanted my 2nd childs haircut to be done at the same time. Well yes! I did book 2 haircuts at the same time and considering there were no other cuts being done then and 2 free staff! No excitement, no small talk with the kids or any form of joy about being children's hairdressers. I can get a better haircut experience from any other place that's not specifically designed for children. Also nothing worth the amount they charge for haircuts either. Sorry to say but I was very disappointed.

We had a brilliant experience at this place. Pia did a really fab job of cutting my little guy’s hair (a great cut too) whilst also keeping him calm and entertained. Two other staff members happily joined in with bubbles and games, too. Highly recommend!

Have been here a few times with my daughter, she loves coming here for a haircut. She can watch a show on the ipad to keep her occupied, and can't wait to be offered some popcorn and a balloon afterwards. The staff are very friendly, patient and helpful.

Absolutely stoked with how my 12 month olds first haircut was handled, she was quite upset, so the bubbles were brought out and the haircut was a success. They are so patient, didn't get annoyed at my little wriggler. Plus balloons, popcorn, and a certificate with a photo at the end. Highly recommended these guys for your baby's first haircut.

Jonelle and the team are amazing! My son screamed and cryed the whole time, but the team kept me as calm as i could be and got the job done quickly. I really appeciated the confidence and professionlism. Thank you ladies.

Took our boy for his first haircut several months ago where he was inclined to do so.
The staff here made it so warm and fuzzy for the children there getting their hair done.
Took him back the second time, this time there was no screaming or crying at all. He sat in the chair, next thing you know, we were done.
Highly recommended to any parents who experience issues cutting their children's hair.

I want to love this place, I really do, but sadly the haircut given to our toddler daughter was sub par to say the least

It was her first haircut (she has long straight hair) and she managed to sit very still. However the resulting haircut was just incredibly uneven jagged 'straight' line.

I was disappointed to the point where I let her play in the playground whilst it dried (thinking perhaps thats all it needed?). And went back into the store to show them the poor final result. I was greeted with an "ooooh, yeah. I see what you mean" and a second attempt was made. It was 'tidied up' with no real apology. The uneven edge remains.

The concept of this store is wonderful, and my daughter still had a great experience during the cut itself (all the positive reviews are valid about what they offer). She is none the wiser to the quality of her haircut. I was careful to tread lightly, I didnt want it to effect our 3 year olds confidence!

But honestly.the haircut itself was rubbish & to the point where I will now take her elsewhere to see if someone else can fix it up. Perhaps we were just unlucky, and the stylist was having a bad day?

Fabulous. The staff are so beautiful with the little ones. The whole experience was completely stress free for my granddaughter. In fact it was fun. She left with a balloon, sticker, popcorn and a lovely haircut!

My kids love coming here as the staff are wonderful, making them feel comfortable and they also enjoy the popcorn and balloons after!

My ASD son had his first hair cut here and the staff were lovely, understanding and patient. They entertained and distracted him with bubbles, episodes of Bluey and allowed him a safe outlet while using a spray bottle of water (which is his fav). He loved his reward of a balloon and some popcorn. So very kind of them to also give my daughter a balloon. Yes, it is a little more than a standard haircut but a service that is well worth it and my son walked out with an actual haircut when mostly salons refused to even try to so his hair. No scissors used after he repeatedly tried to put his hands up to touch it. He tried the same with the clippers and everyday waited while he touched and looked at it first!

Spent $32 for a first haircut. Cut off 2-3 locks and that was it, said she was done. Haircut was over in 4 minutes. Awful value and obviously she had something against our daughter as the other haircuts took 15-20 minutes at least.

The staff is really friendly, well trained good hygiene measures. They have ipads for fussy kids and it makes the job really smooth Make sure to have a Prior booking Appointment if you're planning on going there. Totally recommend it value for money

Place is awesome! Really helped us condition our 4 year old to getting his hair cut, super patient and accommodating.

Very happy with the service provided - I love that they make hair cuts fun for kids with balloons, popcorn and cute hair styles. The staff are friendly, patient and great at what they do. Another standout about this place is the convenient online booking system which makes getting an appointment a breeze. Thank you to all the staff at Hairlarious Kidz.

The whole team is so patient with the kids and the place is set up so well to give the kids things to do while waiting or having their hair done. Excellent work.
