Greenhills Inn reviews
58Pleasant little pub to stop at while motorcycling around the wheat belt. Plenty of bike riders seem to know this spot quite well. Food was good and filled the spot followed by a few beers! Staff and management are friendly and the bar was clean. We will go back again another day on the bike.
It is a lovely old Australian pub, good food and excellent service. It is out in the middle of nowhere (or 20kms from York) but there are two choices for accommodation if you wanted to settle in.
Great olè Pub in the Green Hills town site with nice cold beer to wash down a hearty lunch. Will definitely return when we're in the area again, excellent
Murray and the team are awesome.
Cold beer, a good chat and friendly locals.
Food is very good, beer is icy cold and the beer garden is our favourite.
We make at least 3 trips a year from Perth to here just for a lunch n beer.
Had a great night stay in this magnificently restored piece of history. Superb apple crumble cake and very hospitable owners. The rooms and toilets were so well maintained. We didn’t meet the resident ghosts, but might have to come back to try and find them.
We just had a lovely lunch at Greenhills Inn.
Paul and I are looking forward to going back.
Staff are great too.
Well. I haven't been here since the new owners took over, ordered the sate beef thought I would try something different. To me it tasted like packet sauce and the beef was ribbon thick.the flat bread was definitely that (flat and thin). Would not recommend it. On a up note the burger looked good so did the grilled fish. Not worth the price though. Lovely place to chill out with friends and have a drink, lots of history.
Great place. Lovely staff and owners. Good affordable meals and I’m all for a place that doesn’t overcharge a bottle of wine. Free camping on the grounds. But have a beer. Free facilities but $5 showers. Don’t be that person. Have a beer and pay for showers. Free camping and free facilities for a beer and a paid shower is more than worth it. Beautiful historic pub surrounded by farmland.
Fantastic food (loved the Sea Chook!), warm atmosphere and great banter with Murray behind the bar! Will be back.
Nice people, great food and atmosphere with the fire lit in the "Royal" dining room. However, service could be faster. We'll be back.
Great pub and really friendly staff/owners. Pulled up and had a great feed and beers around the fire. Thanks for having us!
Went for a meal and it was lovely. Was amazing to look around and see all the antiques. Worth a look. Friendly owners and staff. Enjoyed.
What a gem of a pub, we went for a Sunday drive from Perth and stopped off for lunch. I wish more pubs could be like Greenhills. The staff are amazing and to our surprise they cater for vegans, something Perth pubs don't do very well. I look forward to another visit soon. Thanks
AMAZING quality meals. I had surf n turf.partner had chicken parmy. Meat cooked to perfection.sauces were beautiful. Kids also loved there fish bites.and nuggets and chips.
A+ thanks to the owners
Beautifully renovated/preserved Federation era hotel. Friendly staff as well as fabulous meals. This is a popular destination for various car & motorcycle clubs. Worth putting on your list of WA places to visit.
We had a event there and everyone was catered for, good food good company -great venue and we had the Mucky Duck bush band - just love the place.
Lovely drive/ride out to this old place. Recommended over stopping in York. Great food and hospitality.
After a two hour ride I was fungry. Greenhills Inn was pretty well deserted, thus quiet. Nice. I had the steak burger and a jack and dry. If I was to be picky I'd say the salad on the burger was a bit too basic. However it really hit the spot, and the steak was fantastically cooked. I will bring the family for a ride here for lunch one day. Very friendly lady serving and even said goodbye. Again nice.
Journey back in time to this lovely old pub. Comfortable rooms decorated with period furniture. Good pub food with ambience friendly host. Reasonable pricing recommended
