Joined the gym, changed my mind the next day I joined, relying on the cool off period of 7 days. Manager Andy Jenkinson confirmed via email cancellation was completed however second payment was taken from my account, called again at least 10 times, no answer, receptionists said the membership was cancelled so I called Debituscess to confirm this and they advised the membership was not cancelled. Went to to talk to them face to face, manager no at the premises, next week another member called me very politely to see if I wanted to join the gym (seriously?) so I complaint about it, he passed me to the "Customer service" manager (Jessica) who apologised and ensured she personally was going to be in charge of the case, and she will call me to give me an update. 2 days later and I havent received the call and no refunds have been made. Waiting to see if they are going to take the thrid payment and that would be me lodging a complaint with the WA consumer protection.

Great gym but couple of cable machines need lubricant all the gym matts are gone for last couple of days and the lights in the dry sauna dont work awesome staff though

The gym itself is well equipped however the service from a certain few staff members is very poor. If the girls at the reception desk can't multi task they shouldn't be behind the desk or choose an occupation that has nothing to do with customer service. (lift their head and say hello or even just a smile to their customers whilst operating a computer)

3 reception/admin girls at the desk this afternoon having a great chat whilst customers come in and out with no hello/goodbye.

There is 1 new girl who is very friendly and the guys in management are also welcoming when behind the desk.

I love GoodLife. Just sad how I can't swap my home gym closer to my new place without closing my former account and reopening it. Surely there must be something that can be done? Nevertheless, facilities are top notch, and people working there are friendly. Best gym ever!

Bring your own lock, they don't have key card lockers, the steam sauna is out of order and there are no mirrors near the medicine balls, The water from the fountain tastes good!

This place may as well disconnect their phone. Called about 15 times over the past 2 weeks in regular business hours. Yet to get through. When I’ve been in a bunch of equipment is out of order. But it’s a good set up and a good location

Great facilities and friendly staff. Plenty of machines available, good range of classes in the morning and afternoon/night. Floor space to do your own workouts too. Virtual classes in a separate room available too

WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! If i could put no star i would. Don't bother with Goodlife Success. Constantly having equipment out of order for 2+ months (with no reassurance of being repaired). Toilets and drink fountains constantly out of order. Currently - smiths machine (out of order for 3+ weeks) Zip Tap out of order (3+ weeks) Disabled toilet (out of order AGAIN) Taps (constantly leaking) I feel sorry for the ladies at Reception who have to put up with the constant complaints. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone unless you are prepared to be disappointed.

When signing up up for membership I would advice everyone to ask for a copy of the contract to take home so that you can have a good read. When I signed up everything was rushed and do through the gym tablet, the person that signed me up did not tell me that you still get charged $5 every week when you put your membership on hold for when your away. The other thing is they don't tell you that your membership is back dated so of your contract is finished and you come an cancel your membership they charge you for the weeks you went away. This is the kind of scam this place operates with, management is useles they don't help with anything at all. This while experience left me with a sour taste in my mouth, and makes me miss my old gym anytime fitness.

They lied to me to get me into the program. The gym is nice but lying is unacceptable. In total, I paid more than $200 for 3 weeks.
"You can always pause it. " costs $5/w. No one told me about this
"We have gyms in all major cities in Australia. " I could have checked it myself but this is a lie.
"You will get 3 training sessions with a professional trainer for free" Nope. Never got it. I called them, I asked them personally and got the answer "She will call you tomorrow" which she never did.

EDIT: apparently my cancellation has been made up today. Hope I don't receive debit after the finished date the 20th of May.

Having such troubles to cancel my membership. It takes 2 minutes on their computer to do it, and the gym still get loads of money from your applicable fees or/and the 30 days notice period. Not capable of cancelling when asked, they make it last the most they can. Scammers. Don't go there.

Would not recommend. Signed up to a 5 day free pass thinking I would get the chance to use the gym facalities for this amount of time to see if I liked it before I signed up to anything. However before I had even tried any equipment out etc I was told I have to sign up to a membership there and then. Was a very rushed process. I decided I wanted to cancel and not go ahead due to various reasons. I am still waiting to hear back regarding cancelling my membership as apprantley only the manager can authorise this. Genuinely never known a gym like it and very unimpressed. A lot of the reviews say the same thing which isnt a good sign. Seems like they are making it impossible for me to cancel!

Clean and fresh looking but broken machines- Some out of order for a few weeks. Even a few pins and knobs miss I g off some machines and no warnings.
Staff seem to keep themselves to themselves. Can get very busy. Convenient as in shopping centre

Won’t answer email’s, trying to cancel gym membership as I have no income coming in and am leaving town to a place where there is NO Goodlife, when I signed up I was rushed through all the signing so I did not get the chance to read anything. How about you think about your clients and understand that circumstances CHANGE. As you can probably see here you have many 1 star reviews, maybe it’s time somebody does something, it’s quantity over quality when it comes to Goodlife gyms.

The managers Jake and Phil are by far the worst mangers. Can't even check his email let alone the gym equipment and very very dissapointed in their costumer service I highly recommend the owner of the gym to sack these two guys because they make a lot of people cancel their memberships. The staff/managers at gooflife success were very unreliable, they don't follow up with concerns of the costumer also they are harsh and not understanding of the circumstances of a costumer, also when you're signing up please read the fine print on the contact word for word that they "explain" to you because they'll lie to you and tell you false information and when you want to talk to them about it they'll make excuses to post pone it and find something to fault you on whilst you're at the gym, I highly recommend going to a different gym because this place would drive you mental if you ever have a problem with anything they'll lie and take forever to follow up on things, they are absolutely the worst gym ever and I'll never recommend this gym to anyone especially young men and women because the gym will lie to you and make you look like the bad one.

The gym itself was fantastic. Heaps of classes and a wide range of equipment. My reason for the low review is that when I tried to cancel my membership I was told I had to finish out the year or pay a large fee.
I was told that my membership would end in November at that would be the last of it. Fastforward to March and I realized that payments were still being taken out of my account.
Getting a refund was a real hassal that took nearly a month of me hassling them to get a result. I wasn't given the adequate information to start with which meant that the process took longer.
In the end I had to pay $25 to my phone company to get records to show that I contacted them on the day I organized to end my membership.
In the end I got my money back but the manner in which it was handled was inadequate.
I've worked as a CSO for a recreational facility and know that this was not how you handle such situations.

I was at first quite unsure about starting a new gym since I moved here.

Since starting at goodlife I got awesome coaching and mentoring.

Even met two people that work there that are not only amazing people and trainers but they have become friends for life.

Could not recommended this place enough!

Staff are very approachable and give plenty of helpful advise. Gym is always clean and presentable.
