Glen Forrest Gourmet

In the last 6months the coffee has been absolutely dreadful, super weak and horribly bitter. I used to go here regularly now I have found some where else for my local coffee.

Went for breakfast had big fry up really good - plenty of bacon, chipolatas, mushrooms, toast, grilled tomatoes, rosti, eggs how you want them (I had fried) and homemade baked beans. Healthier options also available! Slight whinge - big family had taken over most of restaurant and were loud at times.

Ordered 30 Sausage rolls $103 they very nice but VERY expensive, party guests said they all could have made them cheaper. Oh well we live and learn.

Friendly staff, quality food and drinks. And they're actually open mid afternoon unlike most cafes.

Really good food and coffee and great service. Including the best muffins! Online ordering for pickup or delivery was great when we were in isolation.

Good portions. Although, the French toast isn't exactly toast. It's soggy bread from the amount of syrup prepoured onto it.

Staff are wonderful and food is delicious! However, some of the food can be a little overpriced, but overall there is a great community vibe.

Enjoyed lovely iced coffees here recently. They have a super tasty range jof baked goods and their Christmas cake is delicious.
