Brilliant gourmet shopping. Really great range of precooked meals. Easy park i ng and had g ood covid p r ocedures. Would go there again for sure.

Today I bought two products from Gilbert from Hilton, I just had the chicken and cheese sausage roll for my dinner, 1 cheese their was none that I could taste of, 2 taste their was no taste to it or flavour in the sausage roll.

I've been keeping this place a secret - so I can get what I want there, and it isn't all shopped out, by other people. Ah well - now that I'm cornered, I'll have to tell it as it is. I used to buy my fruit & veggies at the local farmers' market, until the COVID shutdown last year put an end to that. So I decided to try Gilberts. And I'm absolute hooked on the place. They have EVERYTHING I want, in the way of fruit & veggies - all well chosen, and supporting local WA growers wherever possible.

And an interesting range of cheeses - jams - condiments - nuts - pasta. All sorts of things! Small goods, and a range of chicken & meat.

And the staff are delightful.

The workers were lovely but the manager tony was very cold, grumpy, rude and never smiled i don't know who hired him but he has to go immediately!

Gilbert lives up to his expectation of 'fresh'. Yesterday, I walked in to buy lettuce, and it was fresh. The hot foods are available at 8 AM. They all looked freshly cooked to me. Another place to take away the hot foods with three different sizes of containers. Lots of choices. Good!

Great selection of foods, fresh, homemade and not the normal ranges you find else where. 100% worth a visit if in the area.
Cooked items were lovely, pies delicious, range of hams great, and many, many other items that are very hard not to buy.
"Do yourself a favour" and visit.

Have good quality fruit and veg but most of it (and the meat) is packed away from 18.15 so leaves selection extremely limited.

I like shopping here, but can you (i.e, Gilbert's owners/employees) please make sure that when you claim that the bread weighs a minimum of xx grams, it actually does! Else, it's fraud (however minor) and it will do little in boosting shoppers' trust. Thank you.

It’s great that there are good options for elderly people who don’t need to buy whole products and are separately wrapped for convenience, I’m always looking for this as I shop for elderly ones who don’t want a whole fruit (watermelon or pineapple) or dinner options. Well done on providing this as I see a lot of people complaining about single wrapping, as they do not consider others. Perhaps people should think before jumping. I recycle the plastic and where possible we already reuse it a few times. Thankyou kindly for helping the older generation with choices of convenience and quality

If this place had a seafood market I wouldn't go anywhere else. Fresh, quality produce, friendly staff

This is one of my local grocers. The produce is very good quality and they also have a nice deli with fresh yummy salads (including vegan options). I was very happy they let me use my clean reusable container for the salad. They also have really nice bottled juice in glass bottles. I would give them 5/5 if they stopped using plastic bags for fruit&veg.

Service was great a good variety off fruit and vegetables. My first visit as well but driven past 1001 times. My batch of fresh fruit n verges went into a cold press juice?

Haven't been here since the old days when it was Hilton Fresh - where I felt the quality of the produce was not up to scratch. I'm pleasantly surprised that the shop now is clean, well organised and has great produce. Having fresh baked goods here is a big plus. Quite a decent dairy section.

I'll keep shopping here as it seems like the produce is more current than at supermarkets.

Good range of fruit, veg and meat. The deli is quite good. Highlight is the hot food, very good sausage rolls, pies and pork rib.

Freshest produce at good produce with a superb deli section. PS the home made pizzas are amazing!

Great food, but customer service at the hot food counter was terrible. On several occasions I have been ignored.

Recently purchased two tubs of Gilbert's ice-cream (tiramisu and choc-mint) and a couple of zucchini fritters from their deli section. The ice-cream was rather flavourless and very disappointing. This is crazy because I thought all ice-cream was delicious. I was wrong. The centre of the zucchini fritters tasted strongly of flour and were almost inedible. Very upsetting.
