The ice cream and coffee is delicious, but only two staff on which means when it is busy the tables do not seem to be frequently cleaned.

Great quality food and prices, this place is home to my favourite choc chip cookie dough ice cream and probably the best waffles I've ever had.

Never answers their phone and never have the flavour I've requested. I've asked for take home containers of prailines and cream several times and they're either completely out of take away containers, or they're out of the icecream. I've stopped going here and just go to the one in riverton - it's a trek, but I know I'll always get the flavour I like.

A lovely clean and friendly place. Beautiful created waffles and wonderful tasting ice cream. The staff are amazing, really lovely, friendly and so accommodating. The ice cream is a delight and your taste buds will sing when they indulge in the many different flavours on offer. Gelare has been producing top quality ice cream for decades and they are still number one in the business. Looking forward to returning to try even more fabolous menu items. Thank you very much Gelare.

THE BEST iced coffees and iced mochas out there. Lovely spot for a small catchup with friends. Ice cream was also delicious. Nice atmosphere.

Yum! Waffles! Need I say more? Probably a good idea.

Pictures posted of my waffles. In total $21 for a large waffle with strawberries, cream and extra banana and a small coffee which is pretty standard for WA (waffles are not the cheapest thing in Perth). BUT it is so good to have a decent place near Cockburn! Atmosphere is simple on the inside, clean pleasant.

Passed the coffee mocha test about 7 out of 10. Coffee experts out there, be gentle (or better yet bring your own coffee ;).

On a diet/a savoury person? They do the same waffle for a half/smaller waffle for about $10. Savoury options like bacon and eggs also. $10-$15 depending on what your order.

But there were LOTS of flies! I wasn’t even sitting outside!?

At some point I felt I was in a farm not in a cafe!

4 people were working and although they all stood directly in front of us during different periods, not one of them acknowledged us, until I had to ask twice “Hi, how are you? Am I able to place an order? ” Being in the hospitality industry I understand when it gets crazy busy, but you cannot ignore customers, it takes 2 seconds to just say you’ll be serving them in a moment instead of ignoring them. Although the food is good, that wasn’t enough for me.

Good local ice cream venue in a small suburb rather than built up shopping complexes. Has most, if not all flavours that the larger stores have.
The only thing that I am most disappointed about is the inconsistency of the waffles. I like my waffles soft and fluffy but some visits they come hard and it when you cut into it, it breaks away into crumbs. When I would get a hard waffle, I would ask for it to be soft but then get told that it’s on a timer for consistency. I would then ask if they could make it and take it off before the timer, but I was refused. Not sure how that is consistency when other visits, I get a soft and fluffy servings.
All and all, a nice place to visit.

The waffles are amazing! The place is clean, staff are friendly.but can I say, you would expect the waffles to come with icecream, but they don't unless you buy the one that states two scoops of icecream etc.so if you want icecream, which always makes waffles tastes the best, make sure you ask:)

The waffles here are soo nice. So lightweight, you don't feel bloated after eating them and soo delicious. Definitely recommended.

Delicious coffee as always. First waffles which were great! The lady that served me was so helpful in offering suggestions that improved our order.

Amazing coffee, I won't go anywhere else. The owner and other staff are lovely, very friendly, great customer service. Child friendly. I take my daughter here every week for a mummy daughter date and we both love it. Food is lovely, quick service also.everything is prepared fresh. Business is always very clean and tidy!

A smile goes a long way, the bald man who served me and my family was so rude. No smile no customer service what so ever.

Convieniently located at Harvest Lakes, good service and the food came out pretty fast. Waffles were slightly over cooked but find otherwise. Staff were friendly and the place was clean.

Love the half price Tuesdays, waffles and pancakes are light and fluffy. Ice cream is tasty and the coffee is decadent. Take the family for dessert and save heaps on Tuesdays. Every time i visit from Adelaide, I eat at Gelare.

A very simple and relaxing atmosphere where you can have your drink with your love ones. It is close to other amenities like supermarket, other eating outlets, clinics, chemists etc.
