Not much parking as there was a boat or kayak club meat, even so we found a spot.
Good toilets, bbqs, tables with seating, rubbish bins and shade.
Be carefull when walking on the beach as there is the remains of old wooden stumps protruding from the sand you could step on or trip up on them.
Also has a small kids play area.

The park has free BBQ and a small playground. It is not that busy. Water is not that clean but can swim in the location. Many people bring their paddle boards and kayaks to go for a paddle as the water is not too far from the car park which has plenty of space. Just bring a shelter on a hot day as there are not many trees around.

Stopped here in the early morning for a cloud break there seemed to be some sort of entertainment in the bushes, well people coming out of the bushes seemed quite pleased with themselves anyway.

Shared sushi sitting on grass in shade overlooking beautiful Swan River delightful! Jetty for launching water craft/fishing, Sandy edges and little playground for children. Riverside Gardens large playground, grassed area, paths, ablutions and jetty nearby.

It's a good walking area, not busy today however weekends could be different. Dog walkers watch the signs as much of the area leads are required, however the is an area marked for dogs to have some lead free play. Being along the Swan River it's also a favourite fishing spot. Lots of local fauna around the area too, makes for some very nice photo opportunities.

Very quiet area just 5 minutes from Belmont Forum. Great place to relax and enjoy the wildlife while strolling along the shoreline. Public amenities are always kept clean and tidy and great for dogs on their leashes.

Great bridge, good park, okay playground. Tip: keep walking to the next spot for a better coffee van.

A decent public bbq and picnic location which is normally clean however, some feel that it's ok to dump their excessive party rubbish in the public bin rather than taking it home.

Nice spot. Play area for kids, aka sandpit with slide. BBQ's for a breaky, lunch or dinner. A coffee cart in the carpark if you need a pick me up and the coffee was reviewed as pretty good! The bridge on this side was close but I didn't notice traffic sounds. My friend who came, he said it brought back memories as this was often a place to visit as he was growing up.

Adjacent to the Dog exercise area, I would suggest just staying toward the bird sanctuary for an enjoyable day

Think twice before parking in the small car park right next to Garrat road bridge (Ascot racetrack side). Came back from fishing early one evening to find another car that was parked next to mine broken into. Only fished around here 3-4 times within 7 days and seen a quite a few dodgy looking people getting around in this spot.

Well kept stretch of the river with good views which is excellent for a picnic in the warmer months. Park can become busy at times. On weekends the local coffee truck frequents the car park. Children's playground is adequate. On the residential side of the car park is a wooden walkway up to Ellis House - worth a peek for those photographically inclined.
