Garratt Road Bridge Park reviews
44Nice cafe at the rowing club makes a huge difference to the atmosphere of spending time here. Great staff too with a nice selection of coffee and cake to spoil yourself
Nice place for family and individuals for picnic and spend a day with their lived ones. You can plan for picnic and bbq as well as drinking water is supplied.
Bonus: You cal plan for fishing and can get good sized breams as well.
Grabbed a good coffee at the Oak House and relaxed beside the river. You do need to check their opening hours.
A great place to visit, there is a cafe there, toilets, playground and picnic tables.
Great swimming ️, kayaking, boating ect.
Get along to the oarhouse Cafe for great coffee and service
Duck in and see Rob have a coffee and enjoy the view
My own fault, didn't check when high/low tide️, can't handle the smell when low tide, & yuk mud.
Definitely will check it out again.when tide is in & not so hot! ️
Yeah pretty nice spot, but I'm about to start work there through winter, so my opinion may vary soon
Lovely little spot alongside the river to splash, play, picnic and fish. Small playground. Toilets and BBQs available.
Great place to walk dogs. Very popular, so good for socialisation. A couple sandy spots if your dog likes to swim as well
What a great place for families to hang out! There are plenty of shaded grassy areas, clean barbeques, clean & stocked toilets, a sandpit & playground, a kid-friendly jetty and shallows at the edge of the river. There are lots of children learning to fish, families on standup paddle boards and kayaks- all around just lots of families hanging out together! Perfect easy afternoon spent by the river.
Been here several times for family gatherings.relaxing spot children's playground.toilets.love it.
Beautiful to walk along the river. Always clean, great place if you have a dog. Plenty of shelters and a great playground.

Great for family picnic.kids can play on the water as they're shallow.a lot of shades too. BEAUTIFUL! ️️️
This is a beautiful, tranquil place to be still and enjoy the river. There are rarely crowds and plenty of space to spread out, walk, swim or picnic.
Lovely spot by the river. Shade, seats, good footpaths and parking including ACROD bays and drinking water fountain.
It was a nice place to visit very clean and tidy lots of tables and chairs even saw some barbecues a very nice place to visit
A nice park with its Riverside location which makes it popular for Picnic, BBQ, or fish. With well maintained facilities and 2 kids playgrounds located around 500 m apart. A large grassed area is also popular with the dog walking in the afternoon
Good fishing spot/s, lights from the rowing club on well after dark. Park a but dilapidated but a nice section of river. Bring mozzy spray.
Ah Garratt road bridge Park; I love rowing down the river, i have enjoyed many a sunset picnics. I sometimes come out here to fish under the bridge, and have caught many bream. I know a few other locals that frequent this spot and enjoy what it has to offer. A van - "shakes are us" also parks up on weekends, and I don't mind a cheeky coffee and croissant. My dog loves the dog beach at the other end.
